[XB/PS] ‘Welcome to DLC’ boxes keep popping up

Fixed in update 1.123.80.1020/2.32

Some Simmers with packs noticed that every time a new session was started, the new content notification screens would display. We know you are excited when you buy a new pack, but this reminder was not intentional and has been resolved.

Just downloaded the "fix". The "Welcome to..." pop-ups are gone, but the Gallery still defaults to "most popular" rather than "newest" even though this fix was supposed to take care of that. Oh, and my game is still becoming unresponsive when simply viewing households in my library forcing me to have to restart. I haven't even checked to see if the issue with the perpetual appearance of new content markers in both CAS and BB has been resolved, but based on what I've seen of this fix so far, I'm not hopeful.

That's good to know it'll be fixed today as part of the DLC pop ups issue. I added a pic in the bug report for that but I wasn't sure if the two were connected as its also showing all the past live event rewards as new too. cheers for clearing that up 😁

I just read that the Fix is coming out today.
Therefore, nothing should be marked as new in build mode anymore.

Since the last patch, the Welcome to DLC is displayed every time you start the game (there is a Bug Report for this topic), so you will always see it as a new in build mode.
I have that too. I play on the PS5. 

Every time I start up my Sims game on PS, I get all the packs and kits I have ever bought. I have to dismiss everything every time before I can start playing.

Hi, since the April marketplace update (pre April 28th patch) all the build buy items from the packs I've purchased are showing as new in build/Buy mode. It's also showing all the reward items from every past live event as new too. 

I couldn't find a separate post/ bug report for this issue, apologies if there is already one and I just didn't see it🙂

They literally just announced a hotfix patch coming tomorrow for consoles and PC to fix the Welcome to DLC pop ups as well as adjust the gallery back to showing newest uploads first.

EA_Solaire​ I would hope theres a fix coming, its been almost two weeks and all they have to show for it on socials is giving us a Wish Taco Bell turned into a studio, not even a "we know theres a problem, we hear you and are working on it". EA Help will gaslight you by saying that youre doing something wrong.
