[XB/PS] Not being able to scroll/select in CAS

I am having the same issue on PS5. I cannot change the eye color and eye shape of my sims and all the facial features are lagging or do not work at all when I am creating a new game.

This isn’t a fix, but is a way around it. Hold down on the D pad or left joystick and it will scroll down to the bottom of the list. You won’t be able to see it happen, but all of a sudden it will ping you to the bottom and then you’ll be able to scroll back up. This has to be repeated each time you open up a menu.

CAS cursor won’t show up in the item grid so I’m unable to customize sims at all. Started after the update and I’ve done nearly everything to try and fix it. Pretty sure it’s a bug

So, my playstation automatically updated the sims and since then CAS or build mode do not work whatsoever. Every time I go into CAS I can click on icons for everything but it will not let me scroll to the actual items in each category. The only thing I was able to do was scroll though the color swatches for hair and go to each outfit for my sim.Build mode, same thing. Can’t get the cursor to go into the actual furniture items but can switch through the furniture tabs. This is probably just a wait until they come out with a bug fix thing but, it’s upsetting to try and play during the new event and I can’t even place the bridgerton furniture or dress my sims up in the outfits.

I recently just bought the cottage living pack and before then I hadn’t been in cas for like 2 updates as I’m trying to create my sim, the cursor when I click into categories isn’t transferring over so I can’t scroll through the catalog and it made customizing really hard to the point where I just gave up so idk. if this is an issue that can be trouble shooted or if it’s because of the update. I also never got the welcome to cottage living pop or any of the pop up for the game packs I got, so I had to go through the lessons page to even know how the pack worked.

I recently discovered that if I hold my trigger down, like I'm scanning through the entire page, it will eventually let me access the everything section. After I scroll through everything.

what platform are you playing on ? Is this with or without mods/cc ?

recently after the new update, when I am customising a sim in CAS, it won’t let me scroll through any of the categories (for example, if I were to select tops and try to scroll through to select one, it will not let me move my cursor as I play on PS4) Is anyone else having this problem as it is stopping me from customising my sims)

playing ps4 and I cant choose hairs when in cas, I can choose colours but I can't scroll or select any
