[XB/PS] Not being able to scroll/select in CAS

Literally can't do anything. I click into something and now my sim is facing sideways, and I can't scroll to get her to face me. Also I am having similar problems with the scroll in CAS and I can't move the sims around at all in CAS. This is unacceptable. 

I'm on ps5, so I have no mods. I have expansion packs etc but nothing new and nothing from the creator packs.

I can click on the SIM, I can select, for example, bottoms, and I can cycle through to 'shorts' or 'skirts', but once I've done that, I can't cycle through the actual choices, the curser just doesn't appear. I've tried restarting the game, but it's the same problem each time. So, right now, the only way I can change my Sims clothes is by selecting from the preset options. 

I can't either and I'm on Xbox and I don't even see the layering part

yeah I was excited to play the game except for I can't even dress. I pay a lot for this game and I've giving them a lot of Grace but it sounds like they may need people that know how to code games

It's the same for me on PS5. It took me an hour to create one sim. 

I can’t even do the gallery or the main menu. I get stuck and the back button apparently doesn’t work or clicking any other buttons.

I also have this issue, on ps5 my cursor disappears in CAS after i select any category and in them i cant change anything in. Its completely broken and unplayable now.

Almost the same for me, on ps5, CAS now useless, i can click on the main category but then nothing else, the game restart didnt help, i did not manage to change anything since the patch; its not working. Its completely broken

I'm having this same problem! I was finally going to play the game for the first time in months because of the new update, sat down to make a sim and I'm trying to find a hairstyle that matches a character from another game and it's so unbelievably frustrating not being able to actually select the different options, I can't even change the colour anymore 😭
