Slow download speed in EA App
Hello, I have a 2 Gbit fiber connection internet, 2000 Mbit/s, which usually downloads games on Steam/Riot at a speed of 230-250 MegaBYTES per second. I installed EA App, ran it as administrator, and can not get it to download faster than 7MB/s (around 60Mbits per second). I tried all the mentioned solutions in other threads, forums, youtube videos, nothing helped. But an even bigger issue is this: The EA App actually throttles my internet connection as soon as it starts downloading. For example, in speed test I will do a test and it will be aforementioned 2000 Mbits/s However, as soon as I start the EA App download of Battlefield 1, my actual internet speed goes all the way down to 60-120 Mbit/s range! I can even start a speed test, it will hover around 2000 mbit, at the same time I start the download process, and in the test the speed falls all the way down. Something is very broken with the EA App because it hijacks the internet speed completely. What is going on?36Views0likes3CommentsAn error on our end cause the game failed to launch.
This error has been around for more than a week and it really gets me frustrated. I tried every methods in every articles or forums I found but nothing helps. What do I supposed to do now, I really lost. Perhaps this will be my last product I bought from EA. Can even get to play the game you paid by your own money :/13Views0likes0CommentsEa app will not open
I've been trying for days to fix the problem my ea app wouldn't open it said error code 10005 I uninstalled and re installed the app and it now says it has trouble connecting to update servers i've also removed all my mods and the game still wouldn't work I think it is a issue with the connection status as in the files it has a red cross next to it but i don’t know how to fix it37Views0likes2CommentsCan't send error report
Very ironically, tried to send an error report as the sims 4 is virtually unplayable and the sims won't stop ignoring commands and undoing when I do get them to do anything. Error report wouldn't send through. How are you meant to resolve issues if we can't use the routes available to us?! For the record I confirmed send and then got a pop up saying it hadn't gone through, it's not that I didn't follow what was required14Views0likes0CommentsEA app telling me The Sims 4 is uninstalled when it isn't
Hi, I'm having a very infuriating problem. I played The Sims 4 the day before just to log into EA the next morning and the app tells me I have to download the game. I'm completely confused because I played it the previous night with no issues. I've done everything other people with the same issue have done. I've cleared cache, restarted both the app and my pc multiple times, ended task, tried app recovery, updating the app, EVERYTHING I can possibly think of, yet nothing works. It seems I haven't been the only one with the problem, yet others that had the problem seems to have gotten it fixed except me. My pc doesn't even have space because the game itself is in my laptop and has taken up all the space so I can't even reinstall the game. Please I have DLCs, packs, mods and cc installed so I don't want to do anything that will make me lose my game and saves as well because I've lost my saves multiple times and IT HURTS. Please I need help!!! I have screenshots below. Thank you. There are no "three dots" to click... Also, please keep in mind that my "Last played" should actually be March 21st or something. I don't know where all my progress went to. Thank you in advance.95Views0likes6CommentsThe EA app won't open, saying an error occurred.
Since yesterday, I've tried to open my EA app, but it says there's an error in my connection to the internet. I checked my internet with other apps, and everything worked fine except for EA. I tried turning it off and back on, resetting my computer, updating my computer, updating windows, and none of that worked. Someone told me I needed to clear my cache, so I tried to find forms about it on EA help and none of it would work with the situation I was in and required me to open the launcher. One video said to download it again, and I tried that with the installation download and repair from there, then tried to launch the app, and then it told me the background services crashed and to run update, then told me the update server is unavailable. My dad then uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now I can open the launcher. Still, nothing shows up except the top left corner with the three lines and the X. I used that to try and clear my cache but it didn't do anything and tried to contact EA and send an error report and wrote all of this just for it to tell me there was an error with the error report.EC:10005 When i try to open my EA app on Macbook
I first had this problem a few months ago I ended up getting so frustrated that I just stop messing with it. A couple days ago I came back to it and it was working fine. I just purchased $80 worth of packs for the Sims four. Now I’m discovering that while I had the error code before I purchased the packs It is now affecting me being able to have my packs in the game. I have tried troubleshooting. I have completely deleted all traces of the app from my computer and none of that has worked. The only way I can access the EA app is by switching between my personal Wi-Fi and my hotspot on my iPhone then it won’t let me open the EA app. However, in just a few minutes, the game will start functioning without an Internet connection despite me having one. I really don’t like to complain and if I hadn’t purchased the packs, then I would not have but I just spent $80 on this game. And it is very upsetting that I am continually having this problem.16Views0likes0Comments
