EA account linked to my steam, hacker changed email
Hello EA support, I am contacting you because I still have not been able to regain access to my main EA account. I have already tried to recover the account, but the issue has not been resolved. I would like to request assistance in restoring access to my account and verifying my ownership. I can provide invoices, original email, hackers email, old igns and more. Please help.131Views0likes8CommentsNo access to old Email address.
Good day, I 'm on the verge of loosing all hope with EA. I lost access to my previous account when my old IP provider (Tiscali.co.uk) closed. And while it remained live for a while, it was eventually deleted, meaning my old 'Tiscali' email address is now no longer valid or accessible in any way, and there is NO previous IP Provider whom i could contact for assistance (as your repetitive "Advice" repeats over and over again 😡) Honestly, who even thought that would be an acceptable response? 😶 I did manage to gain access to the account a while back, and at that time I managed to link it to my Xbox "Gamepass" account which is tied to my 'NEW' Gmail Address (big mistake) I then tried to change the now obsolete 'Tiscali' email address to my current 'Gmail' one, every time I have tried to do this, I have been unsuccessful as your system just tells me to provide a code which has been sent to my old email address to which I no longer have access, these days I only seam to be allowed to access the forum with my old account.☹️ When i try to select the option for "No longer have access to email address" your system just tells me to contact my old email provider....you know, the ones who no longer exist!!!... do you see my issue?... I'm going round in circles, and have done for a few years now with no resolution. At least previously i was able to at least log into my account by selecting my 'Xbox account' at login.... now you have introduced your ridiculously excessive 2-point authentication, it just tells me that a code has been sent to the old email address which no longer exists.....I think I've accepted that my old EA library has gone now, and so I created a new account but need help from a REAL person, to either regain access to my old account, delete my old account (and just use my new account going forward) or to delete my "Gamepass" link from the old account so I can re-link it to this account.... until then I am unable to play EA games from Gamepass or my library as both are inaccessible. help! I bought an Xbox Series S off of Facebook, but now i can't play Battlefield because the old account is linked. I have opened multiple cases, and i cant believe why it is so difficult to change an email address. I cant play a game I own, this is ridiculous. Has anyone had this problem and solved it? One of the suggestions was to create a new xbox account, i was blown away they suggested this compared to changing something as simple as an email address.24Views0likes7Comments"something went wrong" when trying to link PSN to EA account.
I found that when I try to link my playstation to EA, I get an error message that says "Something went Wrong. Could not connect with EA server. Return back to playstation.com" I couldn't find any info on this topic. please help.40Views0likes1CommentThis company is a mess.
I've been unable to play Jedi: Survivor for months because of an error code that says it is on their end that is the issue. When I tried to contact support I was met with someone who was clearly just reading off of the help forum and doing their best but ultimately ended up back to telling me good luck with my efforts after reading off all of the things I've done already. I also have come to realize that because of the way game pass works with the EA app i can not get my old save data back from my old account that had EA play because these accounts can only be linked with one Xbox account ever for some reason?? and that's not even mentioning the fact that even IF I wanted to play this game somewhere else it would still not work because steam goes through EA to run the game. I' honestly baffled that this company is running at this level of efficiency for customer support and I guess I'm just never playing any other games on the app ever again because I'm just told to figure it out.EA NextStep, a step back
I am starting to think that they know what they are doing, seeing that the forum was the only resource that popped up when I was researching a problem I was pleasantly surprised to see a "contact us" button at the bottom of the support page. Now I was fully expecting an AI assistant, at least before speaking with support staff or having a ticket created, but what EA has created is well beyond any other assistant I have ever had the displeasure of navigating. Every single prompt from EA NextStep comes with little to no regard of the information you entered into the window previously. Beyond stating your name multiple times be prepared to state your problem, game, and system multiple times in repeat. And for those of you as gullible as me, hoping, praying to at least have an actual ticket created and maybe get a chance to have another person review your problem, let me save you the effort. At the end of each session with EA NextStep it will prompt you to the EA "Self Help" guide where the AI chose an article for you to read and hopefully fix the problem yourself, the only problem, it doesn't actually listen to your problem. I was trying to solve the random EA app failure on PC and beyond having to give it all of the important information multiple times, I was offered a generic "game help" article, a "login help" article, and a "connectivity troubleshooting" article, none of which actually addressed the problem or the fact that I had attempted many of the steps those articles were suggesting before trying to find more help. If anyone has a solution to the EA app bug, I would be very appreciative, but I will not hold my breath on EA finding the solution, as the multitude of threads on and off of this site complaining about the exact issue I was having, and the EA proposed solution, if all else fails, factory reset, and the EA app and EA games are just not worth that effort.543Views4likes9CommentsIssue with EA accound linking
I purchased an EA Play subscription yesterday through the Epic Games launcher. Before this, I didn’t have an EA account. My expectation was that installing a game from the subscription via the Epic Games launcher would either: - Automatically create an EA account linked to my Epic Games account, or - Allow me to create an EA account and link it during the process. However, when I tried to download Mass Effect Legendary Edition (and other games), I was redirected to the EA app, where I encountered the following error: “There’s been an error. Try resetting your password and restarting your game. You can now close this window.” I reset my password multiple times (since I had to create a new EA account from scratch), but the error persists. No additional windows or options appeared, and I still couldn’t link the Epic Games launcher to EA. As a result, I manually created an EA account and tried again, only to face the same error. When I contacted EA support, they informed me that my Epic Games account is already linked to a different EA account, one that I’m not aware of. Strangely, this linked account doesn’t appear in the “linked accounts” section of my Epic Games profile. I reached out to Epic Games support for clarification, but they stated that their support team cannot provide any data from my Epic Games account. This leaves me stuck in a frustrating loop where I can’t access or manage my subscription properly. I’ve paid for the subscription but can’t even process a refund. Could you help me resolve this issue? I’d like to either: Unlink the unknown EA account from my Epic Games profile, or Properly link my new EA account to my Epic Games subscription. Refund my subscription.52Views0likes1Comment
