Disabled account, Poor Customer Service, Very frustrated
I just bought Battlefield 6 for my son on his PS5 and as soon as the game was downloaded he tries to play it and immediately gets a notification screen (attached) saying that his account has been disabled due to a violation of EAs user agreement. I click the link to check his penalty history and it shows that he has no penalty history at all. I tried to contact customer service but the closest I could get was to submit an appeal that apparently could take up to 10 days for me to get a response. What the hell is going on here? I just spent $70 bucks on a video game that my son can’t even play because EA banned his account for no apparent reason at all and now I gotta wait and submit a claim to appeal something that he never did?!? This is ridiculous. And the fact that they don’t even provide a phone number so we can call someone for help is a down right shame. If anyone has any advice please let me know. I’ve tried resetting his password. That didn’t work. He’s upset. I’m upset. This is all bad.Solved37Views0likes2CommentsLinux Gaming GeForce Now
"I've been a Windows user for a while, but I decided to make the switch to Linux after trying out Linux Mint Cinnamon. And boy, am I glad I did! After just one month of using Linux, I can confidently say that it's been a game-changer. One of the best things about Linux is its ability to run games smoothly and efficiently. With the rise of GeForce Infinity, a software channel available in Linux Mint's repository, gamers can now enjoy EA games without any hassle. And the best part? It's completely free! Of course, there are some limitations with the free version - you'll have to deal with ads, but if you're willing to pay for the premium version, it's well worth it. The paid version offers ad-free gaming and a lot more features. So, if you're thinking of breaking free from Windows' spyware-filled operating system and wanting an OS that's truly yours, Linux Mint is the way to go. With its user-friendly interface, vast repository of software, and now, GeForce Infinity for gaming, there's no reason not to make the switch. Happy linux gaming, everyone!13Views0likes0CommentsBanned - Stuck in loop - Not showing on help pages
Edit: For all the keyboard warriors that I see around the forum, save yourself some finger-pain and leave this thread. I posted this because I clearly can't appeal, and the ban is invalid. Thanks. Edit 2: For anyone unable to appeal, please scroll to the bottom of this thread. I am at a loss for words. I purchased the game yesterday, to preload it and to play it today. Only to find that I am, just like a tonne of other people, stuck in a bug because of the game content not being recognized. I tried to play one or two games via the community and ended up leaving because I got stuck in a spawn trap. Coming back later in hopes the game would get fixed, and I can play with my friends. About an hour later, I get an e-mail that I am suspended?? Trying to launch the game, I see this; I follow the "ban history" / "Penalty history" link to find out what in the world is going on, and I am brought to a page that says this???: And then when following the "webform" that is linked on their ban appeal page, FAQ and this forum Ban info from this forum, it brings me to a generic FAQ help page where it redirects me back to the ban history tool where it shows no ban! : In other words, I am stuck in a loop, haven't played 1 minute of the actual game and can't appeal. For the love of god, help me! I want to play the game! Edit 2: Hi Guys, User Gripen888 found a way to appeal, even if the ban doesn't show in the penalty-history. Go the the EA help pages and make sure to log-out or clear cookies. Then use the "Continue as a guest" option. https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/ You can then go through the motions of filling in the form, as usual, appealing the ban. From there, a new option "Contact us via email" will pop up. Press this, and you will get a notification regarding your case being opened.8.8KViews46likes172CommentsLogin issue by sign via Email and Passwords

Hello, I’m contacting you because I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience on FC. I have been a long-term, loyal customer and have spent hundreds of pounds on packs and SBC/SPC content, especially ICON-related packs. Despite this, I keep receiving duplicate ICONs, even from unique or guaranteed ICON packs. This feels incredibly unfair, especially considering the amount of money I have invested into the game over the years. I understand duplicates can happen, but the frequency in my case is unreasonable. It ruins the experience, wastes the value of the packs I’ve paid for, and makes me feel like I’m not getting the service or enjoyment I should expect as a committed customer. As a loyal player who has supported this game consistently, I’m asking for this issue to be reviewed properly. At the very least, I would like some form of compensation or clarification as to why I’m repeatedly getting the same ICONs despite the large variety available. Please escalate this to the appropriate team, as this has genuinely affected my experience and confidence in continuing to purchase packs. Thank you, Ty. Gamertag eaze234(ps5)9Views0likes1Comment
