Some of you may recall I started the Sim Gurus On Twitter thread in 2018 and passed the torch to Duvelina in 2020. She has informed me that she hasn't been including tweets from the official The Sims Twitter (X) so I thought I'd start a thread for info from The Sims. Twitter (X), Facebook, and Instagram. Broken and Updated Sims 4 Mods and CC: patch 1.122, March 17, 2026 and hotfixes
About This Thread This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game update 1.122, March 17, 2026, and the March 18 and March 23 hotfixes, or declared unsupported by their creators. It also tracks updated game mods, important updates to custom content, general news from/about creators, and new bugfix mods. -------------------------------------- FAILED TO LAUNCH ERROR: "Failed to Launch" message plain black screen on launch (no words) sometimes you can launch but are missing CC in CAS A patch for these specific issues was released March 23, 2026. If you have them, please update. If you still have them after that, it's possible that there are other causes. Please do a vanilla test. Doteasy account never gets the verification email.
I've been trying to switch my profile over to PS5 from PS4. It won't let me do anything until it's been verified. The problem is that the verification e-mail never arrives in the Doteasy webmail. Resending it doesn't help and it's not in spam. Any ideas how to get around this?Life Skills for Special Needs Young Adults
Hello. I am new to The Sims and I have a special needs teen who is becoming a young adult. There has to be a massive community of us wondering if there might be a version of Sims where we can benefit from for teaching life skills and routine social encounters. Things we are looking for include errands at different types of stores, taking cabs or public transportation, doing routine chores, pet care, using good manners, cooking, safety, mild interpersonal challenges, polite social interactions, and perhaps interactions with librarians, police, firefighters, dentists, and doctors. Things we are hoping to avoid is material of complex relationship interactions, suggestive or mature, combativeness, and introducing ideas of mischief that could get an adult with autism, social, or judgment-making deficits from getting into potentially serious issues. For example, definitely do not want to train impressionable minds how to make firemen come to our houses! Can you suggest a version of The Sims that would be ideal for just teaching life skills, family, and community interactions? Maybe there are settings that can be adjusted or an expansion pack that would suit our needs? If not, what if there was an "expansion pack" that simply trimmed the more complex relational features of a base game? We can really see the potential value of Sims for allowing those with special needs to process, practice, and repeat grown-up responsibilities, self-care, social situations, and how to respond to safety issues. “Ask to become partner” option does not appear
My sim has a full friendship and romance bar with another sim but the option to make them my partner does not appear. I don’t have any mods installed and my game is up to date. I’ve also checked their romance preferences and everything is fine. Can anyone help?Report a player web form returns ERROR 404 after submit !
Filled out all the fields to Report exploit abuser and after hitting Submit form just return ERROR 404 "This page has moved or doesn't exist." It's a direct link from help topic : https://help.ea.com/en/help-tools/report-a-player/ People abusing exploits in Battlefield 6 and using In game form to report a cheater always returns "We investigated and take no actions" . It's just sad, now even web form don't work. I guess let everyone cheat then why bother.
Is it possible to turn off updates permanently?
My game has gotten big enough that I'm not interested in more packs, and I'm tired of regular patches constantly breaking my mods and my gameplay. I've turned off the auto-update option in the EA launcher, but recently the launcher has started to try to update TS4 every time I open it (the launcher), even though the option is still turned off. I always have to hurry to cancel the update and then put the launcher in offline mode so I can play. Is it at all possible to permanently "freeze" updates on the game so I don't have to do this every time I open the launcher?
