Vampires with No Sense of Self-Preservation
Hello! I didn't see this posted here, but maybe I've just missed it... but I've noticed my vampire sims have no sense of self-preservation when it comes to the sun? They will often: autonomously choose to do things outside during the day, just kind of... stand around outside after getting off of work, or prefer tasks that require going outside versus doing a task inside (for example, I just had a vampire sim empty the roomba and take it to the outside trash instead of taking it to the kitchen garbage). I am curious if there is a solution for this, or if a solution can be worked on? Thank you! P.S. I don't use mods or custom content, in case anyone was going to ask.
Nature’s Calling Event Won’t Appear Anywhere/Won’t Start Entirely
Hi there I saw another post on here having a similar issue but unlike how their screen would at least show an event icon at the upper left hand corner of their screen, the nature’s calling event won’t even show up for me. Nothing pops up on the screen on the menu page or while in game and I have tried every fix that was suggested on the other post in the comments. I have tried letting the game run on an entirely new save on a new game (changing the existing document folder to _Old and letting the start of the game create a new one) without pausing or fast forwarding, repairing the game through Steam since that’s where I originally bought it from, and restarting my computer. I’ve tried every fix with an entirely empty mods folder. Nothing has worked and I’m not sure what to do at this point. What happens if this issue persists and I’m never able to participate in the event? Any new suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!How long does No Regrets extend a Sim's lifespan?
I can't find this anywhere. When you get No Regrets on the Soul's Journey your Sim gets a longer lifespan, which I presume is an extension to the elder lifestage? But I can't find out how long it extends it for. I'm trying to plan the timeline of my legacy so I'd like to know.
Game Breaks after using BB.Moveobjects
Basically like the title says. as soon as I type in the cheat I can move items but not place them back down. I can adjust the roof but it won't actually apply. And if I try to save the game if just loads forever... That's it, no other actions, just opening the game, typing the cheat and oop, it's broken. On PC but no mods active. I didn't have this problem before the update but I can't find any other threads about people experiencing the issue since?The Sims think I'm offline when I am trying to collect event rewards.
As the title suggests, I've been trying to collect the rewards since Week 3 was released a couple of hours ago. However, the problem is that the game thinks I'm offline, even though I'm connected to Wi-Fi and the EA App is functioning correctly. I'm unsure of what to do at the moment.
Game won't pause/fast forward, Sims keep moving, Infinite saving screen
Once I've been playing game for a couple minutes, the pause button stops actually pausing the game. "Paused" appears at the bottom of my screen as it should, but the usual red border when the game is paused is missing and my sims continue moving around. Once this happens, I am then unable to interact with any sims or objects. When I attempt to fast forward, sims still move and the game continues to run as if it were never paused. I tried opening and closing the gallery. I tried opening and closing the menu (with keyboard shortcuts and with my mouse), game options, etc. None of these work. When I clock "Save As..." the window pops up, but nothing appears other than the title and infinite loading symbol. When I click save, it appears to work, but then I get an indefinite saving screen and unsuccessful save, requiring me to force close my game (with Task Manager)."crafting_grab_serving_mixin" Sims do T-pose and won't eat
When I tell my sims to "grab a serving" they stand there for a second or two, T-pose, then the actions cancels. I was playing for a few hours and everything was fine, this just suddenly happened mid game. I got a Better Exceptions report saying this: Recommended Action No mods were listed in the exception but you do have mods installed. Close your game, try removing handfuls of mods from your Mods folder and retry what you did when you received the exception. If the exception does not occur then the problem is likely with that mod. Check the mod download for any recent updates. Possible Cause (Confidence: 10%) crafting_grab_serving_mixin Reason Exception in Sim Timeline: Exception running Element (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'simoleon_value_multiplier') someone please help, I'm not a very tech person so I have no idea what I'm doing with my folders and tend to avoid touching them unless I'm adding new cc/mods because I'm scared I'm gonna mess something up. I've done some research and saw other people having the same issues but every solution that was given to them didn't work. At the end of my research it was never stated whether those people were able to fix the issue so I'm coming here in hopes someone has a new solution for me! Thank youu
