Basically like the title says. as soon as I type in the cheat I can move items but not place them back down. I can adjust the roof but it won't actually apply. And if I try to save the game if just loads forever...
That's it, no other actions, just opening the game, typing the cheat and oop, it's broken. On PC but no mods active.
I didn't have this problem before the update but I can't find any other threads about people experiencing the issue since?
Is this happening when using the cheat in other homes also, or in just one home?
Try resetting your sims 4 folder, and testing in a new save game without putting back any of your data in the sims 4 folder and see if the issue remains when using the cheat then.

Strangely enough I managed to fix it. I went to try and figure out if it was only this lot since you asked and it was. So then I tried altering the lot and somehow after deleting some of the debug I put on it before using moveobjects... it worked again? I'm not even sure how that makes any type of sense but hey, at least it's working again before the expansion, so I'll take it hahah
Scratch that.... it stopped working again. It might actually be after altering the roof? One time i changed the roof and it happened, another time i removed the roof and it happened (notably the roof did not delete)
Edit: It happens in a new save too and i'm now unable to build anything with roofs. I'm seeing people with this issue for years now but no one seems to really know why it happens or how to fix it except for just to ''wait it out''
