EA app is censoring literally EVERYTHING. Please help
I don't know what's going on, but my EA app appears to be completely broken, perhaps I have a penalty on my account but as far as I know I do not because I already checked for that. This started happening a few days ago. I was beginning to type to my friend, when all of sudden, every message and word I was sending was coming out as a "### ##### ### #####" literally every single time. I asked "How was your day today?" and it censored that. It's literally censoring everything I type and nobody can understand what I'm saying unless I type them over discord. I've never seen this before. I knew EA was garbage, but I didn't think they would have such an insane filter that would completely act on it's own and just blindly silence everything I would say... This is a serious issue, and as far as I can tell, my friends are not having this problem. So what is going on? I'm going to submit a ticket and hope I can some answers, but feel free to help me out here because I'm tried re-installing, checking penalties and even clearing the cache, and nothing is working... Whatever i'm texting to my friends on EA app shows #'s only. Cleared cash, reinstalled, Downloaded and Logged into EA app on another PC too, but same thing... its happening since a week. Hi I am new member here and I am unable to change my profile picture of my EA account from browser which I launch from EA play beta desktop. I have attached the image as .png. I do upload the images from my local and when i crop it and save it, it doesn't appears and doesn't loads in my profile at all. I have tried it with multiple images and multiple browsers. I've been working with the support to try and resolve this, but they directed me to the forums. I can't launch my Red Alert 3 from my library. I bought the game back when it came out on CD-Rom and added it on Origin as was required. After the update to the EA-app (and I think the launch of the C&C remastered collection). The game no longer is able to download as I get an error messages stating: Which is silly as I'm looking at the CD-Rom lying in front of me. The game doesn't have its own gamehub and the only option under the three dots is to download it, which gives this error. Having down the usual gamut of uninstalling, repairing, cache clearing, restarting etc. The service team couldn't help me further and directed me to post over here. This Issue started about 3 Months Ago when my EA App logged itself out, restarted the app, which shows the app login screen for around 2 seconds, before crashing. I tried to run Repair on the app, didnt work. I ran app recovery (cleared cache) which allowed the login screen to work for a few more seconds, before crashing again. I did a fresh app install, still didnt fix it, and I cannot even provide an error number since the EA Error Reporter has the same Crash issue too. I used the event viewer to find that the app was experiencing an NTDLL.DLL error, which i researched fixes on how to resolve this issue, none of which were successful. This included running sfc /scannow in the CMD, which came out clean, but i still restarted my pc after this, and then ran DISM. i then restarted my pc again with no startup apps enabled and the app still crashed. As many fixes suggested, by far the best way to get around this is to use the EA app on a separate windows profile, which i have been doing, however this issue has been bugging me for far too long now and i am wandering if anybody else has had this issue or if it can be fixed in a future app update.Solved155Views0likes5Comments
