Can't purchase Sims 4: Lovestruck – cart won't update
Hello, I’m experiencing an issue trying to purchase The Sims 4: Lovestruck Expansion Pack during the current sale. Every time I try to add the pack to my cart through the EA App or the EA website, I get the following error: "We're having trouble updating your cart." This only happens with Lovestruck. I’ve already successfully purchased another DLC from the sale using the same account, region, and payment method, so the issue is not related to my location or payment. I’ve already tried: Restarting the EA App Clearing the cache using App Recovery Switching to English language Logging in through a browser (Chrome) Re-adding my payment method None of these steps resolved the issue. Please help me complete the purchase or advise what else I can do. Thanks in advance, Roni.
EA App constantly freezes and has to be force quit
Hello everyone, I've installed the EA app on my new MacBook, and every single time I close a game and leave the app open (because I plan on playing it later) it ends up freezing when I want to run a game later. It isn't solved on its own, I have to force quit it and restart the app every. single. time. This is exclusively a Mac problem -- I've never had this issue with my Windows PC. Is this a known bug? Has anyone else experienced this recently?EA App Not Launching
I am experiencing persistent issues with the EA App on my Mac. The application will not open at all—when I attempt to launch it, nothing happens and the login screen never appears, the app simply bounces in the dock and then disappears. System details: Device: MacBook Air, Retina- 13 inch, 2019 macOS version: Sonoma 14.7.8 Troubleshooting steps I have already tried: Uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App multiple times. Deleted related folders (EA, Sims, cache, and preferences) from ~/Library and /Library. Attempted to move the EA App to both ~/Applications and /Applications. Cleared cache and preference files manually. Restarted the Mac between installations. Relocated Sims data folders to an external drive to see if this resolved the issue; completely uninstalled and deleted Sims4 from everywhere Updated my macOS
