Tiny Builds Halloween Challenge
Happy October everyone! Hope your summer was great and you’re perhaps enjoying the seasonal changes as several of us head into fall! On that note… Hidehi2 , Sandraelle and I soocoolsim are in the very, very early stages behind the scenes preparing for our next world collaboration. In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to host a Halloween themed tiny build challenge and hope you join in! Creating a tiny build is already daunting, however let’s step it up a notch with the following: Challenge criteria Create a Residential or Community build, and build as high or low as you wish, however the lot size cannot be larger than 10x10. Align with the Halloween theme and use at least 2 of the following as predominant colours in your build: orange, black, purple, green, grey. Include at least 3 objects from any of the free EA Store Halloween Treats collections All EPs, SPs and official EA store content can be used, however no external 3rd party content please. You can Custard check your export file to double-check. More than one submission is fine, and you can also link to a sim or household created for your residential build. No budget limit so let your imagination soar! When your creation is available on the Exchange, just reply here with the name of your build, download link and up to 5 pictures including the front view. You can link to additional media if desired. Submission deadline for inclusion in the challenge showcase video: Oct 29, 2025 Tips! Do play test your builds to ensure no routing issues. Don’t want to have those sims stomping and getting stuck right! Windows and flooring tiles can go wonky if placed too near the lot edges. Adding them at least 1 square away should work, however test your build by placing a copy elsewhere in the world. Take a look around to ensure all is fine and fix this and any floating tiles as needed before final export. Take screenshots in Live mode. That removes gridlines from view and looks more attractive. A Tiny Town by Rflong7 is a great builders world for use with this challenge since it includes about 30 empty 10x10 lots. Looking forward to seeing your tiny Halloween creations! Glitched on Tour 1 Skater Eyes since day one
Reported multiple times that I am stuck on Skater Eyes Tour 1: Ripping for Rewards - step 1/5 been playing this game few weeks now and no response, no support, still soft-locked. Still stuck. If by any chance EA Skate Team see this, please help PSN Rshelley7 and help the rest of the community If anyone has found a solution please share!Skate-O-Ween Event 1 Bug
I’ve completed all the tasks except one, but the one I’m missing should be complete. It’s for doing 12 of the challenge goals in “Witch’s Brew”, “Spider Bait”, and “Heathen Flip”. I’ve completed ALL the goals. It’s saying I only have [11/12]. I even went back, redid the missions, and got all the challenge goals again to see if that would register it finished to no avail.Abysmal Mission Refresh System and Aimless Post-Progression Gameplay
I am having a lot of fun playing Skate. It’s relaxing and genuinely enjoyable. I've completed all the missions (and even the fast travels) for each level I obtain in each district (as they unlock). However, the rotating mission refresh system feels unnecessarily protracted and poorly balanced. The time between mission refreshes is so extensive that progression regularly comes to a complete halt for longer than necessary periods. When missions finally do reset, the number of available ones is disappointingly small. They can all be finished relatively quickly within a session, and given the modest amount of experience and Rip Chips awarded per objective, the overall contribution to progression is negligible. It feels disproportionate to the time invested. Once those limited missions are completed, the game shifts into a period of aimless free skating to finish the daily/weekly/event tasks in an attempt to fill the gap until the next refresh. Once those are done, the only alternatives are searching for a new gap to land or attempting a throwdown, which may or may not attract any participating skaters depending on the activity of the lobby. The wait time for the throwdowns are also always uncertain, as the system doesn't notify others in the lobby that a throwdown is active. The throwdown relies entirely on whether another player not only discovers the throwdown by opening the map and manually zooming into the district where it is located, but also chooses to join it. If throwdowns created can transport like-minded players into throwdown-rich lobbies this can be avoided. These delays make the gameplay feel aeonic and weaken the otherwise engaging loop. The throwdown system adds to this stagnation, as its poor visibility and reliance on manual discovery often leave players waiting rather than skating. Shorter refresh intervals, more missions per cycle, and clearer throwdown notifications would make progression feel smoother and more consistent. In its current state, the structure feels stagnant and discouraging for a game that is otherwise so fluid and rewarding to play.Dear EA/Full Circle, You had a rocky start...and then made it worse
Outside of the lighting changes giving the game a better look overall, every update you guys have delivered feels half-baked at best. Please, please, PLEASE FIX THE **bleep** ONLINE ISSUES!!! I can't play with anybody cross-play since your recent dog water updates, and even if I turn cross-play off, it's a total crap shoot whether or not my session is going to be stable. The progression is atrocious as well. You actually made one improvement by allowing for 20 rip chips per challenge goal on amateur and semi-pro challenges. AND THEN YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO PUT IT BACK TO 5/GOAL AND SAY IT WAS A BUG??? You know what the worst part is? I gave you money for this trash heap. I got to get all dressed up, finish all of your content, and now I have to wait a whole week for a small handful of new challenges. You know what joy I'm left with? Skating around with my friends. Oh, wait...I CAN'T **bleep** CONNECT WITH MY GODDAMN FRIENDS!!! In all seriousness, you have some great bones here, and I really want to see this game succeed, but you're royally **bleep** it to shreds right now. -Sincerely, Someone who's not angry, but very disappointedThe Witch's Tale
Rebecca Keller (New Arrival on the Way) When Rebecca figured out she was pregnant, a sudden rush of misery washed over her. It wasn't the thought having a child that bothered her, but the fact she was going to have to inform the father and her family. She didn't know exactly what the father would think, other than it would be mighty inconvenient considering his occupation and lifestyle. As far as her family was concerned, it would just be another reason to retread their previous disapproval with a new subject. Rebecca called the father with the news, and the call went a lot like she had expected. He struggled with the idea and had a hard time finding words, but Rebecca didn't fault him for that because she had just dropped a bomb on him. He assured her that he was a stand-up kind of guy, and she knew he was ... She just didn't think that was the appropriate way to handle their somewhat brief relationship. After about an hour-long conversation that consisted more of excruciatingly long pauses, interrupted by bursts of ideas and healthy dose of moral aptitude ... They both started to understand that the issue was something that couldn't be fixed right then or over the phone. Hasty decisions were what got them in this mess and were most likely not the solution out of it. Rebecca assured him that things would be okay with the child and that she was more than prepared to handle whatever was necessary. She promised him she would keep in touch and let him know what was happening ... But that he would have to settle for some photos or a video until they had a better chance to figure things out. The phone call with her parents didn't go much better, but to be honest she felt a lot easier during it than the previous one. Her parents, and her sister Marcy were going to think whatever they wanted to think and say whatever they felt the need to say, but none of it was their decision and she was only telling them as a courtesy. Following all the fairly uncomfortable events of the evening, Rebecca went to the one thing that always helped her find her way. She went downstairs, adjusted the settings on the weight machine, and started pumping iron. The cadence of the reps, her breathing ... They pushed back the anxiety as perspiration melted her frustrations. Rebecca started thinking about the child and what she wanted for it, as well as how she was preparing herself to 'Part the Red Sea' if necessary for the little one on the way. Everyone else could be whatever they felt the need to be ... But she was going to the rock that child's life would be built on ... No regrets and no turning back. Happy Simming ... 💖45Views3likes4CommentsSkate 4
I've been playing this game since it's release and havnt really meshed with it. The animation for the characters almost look like something out of fortnite. The rotating challenges aren't great, you basically play the same thing over and over which makes you loose interest quickly. The map is nothing to write home about because its so small. There's only very good spots to skate. The game is insanely buggy, almost everyone I've talked to about it turnes it off due to frustration. The content sucks, no one wants to grind out objectives for hours just to open mystery boxes to receive lame a** stickers that we'll never use. There's no npc's to interact with like pro skaters, filmers, security guards or pedestrians. There's only like 8 brands in game which really sucks. Build a park would have been great but all we got is a small selection of ramps/rails to drop and at a very small limited amound. All in all, this game is dying and it doesn't seem like you guys really care or due much about it to bring it up. Skate 3 was the peak and skate 4 is the beginning of the skate franchises death. This was my favorite skateboarding franchise and i can't bare to see this game like this. Please try to revive this game where it should be. The skate comunity needs it.Lags, bugs, glitches etc….
Invisible players joining open and empty party says party is full. right trigger only grabs the board like its supposed to 30% of the time. replay editor is complete useless weird because that was a huge focus in the tutorial. map design does not flow. Feels like it was made by separate groups that didnt communicate with each other at all. placing props doesnt show up all the time. sets settings to where i cant see anyone elses drops but still collide with them. During challenges it will automatically set my respawn half way down the line and i have to run to the start and reset my session marker. can litteraly phase through the wall at the arena. Terrible merch in store only four or five items even worth getting. Terrible styles boards and clothes. lowered challenges payout (not even worth it now) greedy loot boxes that have 99% crap and only one good thing yet you have to spend most your coins to get the one good thing.(greedy) The ramp boxes are literally all the same items we already have (except two or three) only different colors. Making us spend more of our currency for unoriginal crap we already earned. community parks suck. events sucks not enough to do get bored very quickly. (I mean seriously 3 challenges for like a month? And we can finish them all in a ten minute session? Really? 😭 whos idea is this why are they still working at ea) season one rewards suck only one cool clothing item the costume. $30 for a card board crappy mock up dead space costume. Repeat that just so you get the absurdness. $30 for an in game costume that looks like absolute crap. i can go on for days. Genuinely i have fun but the more i play and the more ea is handling this the more i dislike it. Honestly there is only so much time you have to play this game before youve done and seen everything and memorized the whole map. And thats a very short time that you will realize this. Like a weeks time. The challenges are not rewarding the events are not satisfying the gameplay is inconsistent the map is dysfunctional the company is penny pinching its customers with the crappy items for high prices (i wouldnt mind spending the high price if the items actually looked good). Im sure ill be back to note more stuff infact i definitely will because ea definitely is not managing this correctly and not listening to the majority if videos online reviewing this game and the way its managed.35 Day wait for TIX. Buying pass wont finish pass
These tix missions ive done. There is no other way to gain battle pass TIX. I wouldve never bought the BP if you werent actually able to get everything you pay for by playing. You simply can't earn enough to unlock more than one page. Is this intentional? Ive played this game b4 it was out. I enjoy it. I wanted to support it by buying the $40 BP bundle. I had no idea I wouldnt get the rewards from playing because its impossible. Anyone else dealing with this realization. I want this game to live but if you cant earn what you pay for without warning. Whats the point of giving them money for seasonal passes?
