One Month One World One Year Challenge 2026
Hello and welcome. :) This challenge was started by Karababy52 (see more here) and I would like to continue it on for another year if I can. Hopefully more people can join in. The more the merrier! The premise of this challenge is pretty simple. The goal is to post one in-game screenshot once a day during the 2026 year. So, kind of like a 365 project for your sims. You will start out with a teen sim and pick your starting world. I'll share a list of suggestions, but really you can pick whatever you want. Your sim will be a teen for 3 real world months, then age-up to Young Adult in April. They will spend 4 months as a Young Adult, then age-up to Adult in July. They will spend 4 more months as an Adult, then age-up to Elder in December. Each month your sim will move to a new world to explore. I've taken all the rules and guidelines here and copied them over from Karababy52's 2023 post and edited them slightly. Rules/Guidelines: One screenshot post per real life day in this thread with a short text summary. One world per real life month - See monthly schedule of worlds in spoiler below. Optional: May change schedule of worlds to reflect your preferences. Your challenge Sim MUST be a teen to officially begin this challenge and post in the thread. Exception: If you are starting the challenge late, you may begin in the current month at whatever age the challenge is at, or you may start as a teen to quickly finish your aspiration and school, then fast forward to the current age. (Example - if you start in April you may hurry through the teen stage and age up to YA, or just start as YA). After three real life months have passed, your Sim will age up to young adult for four months, adult for four months and finally, age up to an elder for December. Timeline posted in spoiler below. Optional: How long your Sim stays in each life stage, teen-elder, is at your own discretion. However, they are required to be at minimum a young adult to attend Uni in Britechester. *Note: If you own the High School Years EP, your Sims may be offered early graduation. If they take the offer, your teen is allowed to apply, enroll, and attend university or join full-time adult careers. Begin Rags to Riches style on an empty lot with 0 simoleons. Optional: Use the 20,000 starting simoleons to buy a starter home and furnish it how you want. Aging off. Optional: May use long lifespan. All unplayed residential worlds are off limits for any kind of travel. Exception: Newcrest may be designated a 'neutral' world to place venues for your Sim to use regardless of their current world residence. Optional: Newcrest may be used to replace a pack you don't own instead. Optional: Your sim may travel to other worlds not used in the challenge if they get an invitation. Sims may take a vacation to any of the designated vacations worlds. Rental lots in unplayed residential worlds are off limits. Aspirations released with a world must be fulfilled first. May choose a base game or other pack aspiration not in the challenge to complete afterward. Optional: Only one aspiration released with a world must be completed before choosing base game or other pack aspirations. Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade may be used in substitution for worlds listed in the challenge for packs you may not own. In that event, choose one or two base game or other packs aspirations not in the challenge to complete per world. Your Sim may marry and/or have children. Aging up children is at your own discretion. High School attendance is not required. May use cheats to fulfill daily/promotional task requirements. *Exception: Applicable only if you do not own the High School Years EP or if you do own it, but have elected not to have your Sim live in Copperdale and do the aspirations associated with the EP in your challenge. The beginning of each new month/world must start Rags to Riches style. Optional: Your Sim may keep personal possessions, sell the rest and bulldoze the house. They may use simoleons from this sale and accumulated household funds to build or download a house from the Gallery. If your challenge Sim dies, it's game over. Optional: You may bring them back to life and continue or use another existing Sim in the household to complete the challenge. Occult states and Celebrity statuses must be removed when progressing to the next month/world. Optional: May keep acquired lifestates/statuses. *Note: Vampires can't get a suntan, which is a Beach Life aspiration task. If a new world is released with a new pack at any time during 2026, you have the option to swap the new world with another prior released world. Give yourself a break and don't stress over days missed due to internet outages, vacations/holidays, real life work/responsibilities or sickness. Extra story screenshots may be posted, but try to keep it to around 5-10 max. May use satisfaction points to buy rewards. Exception: Money tree seeds are disallowed. Lottery tickets are disallowed for purchase. Beginning season, length of days and moon phases are your choice. May turn off or cheat away/change all Eco Lifestyle features applied to worlds. Exception: Must be turned on while living in Evergreen Harbor. May participate in all default Holidays, modify, delete and/or add your own. May include a link to your preferred Blog site with additional story text/screenshots, in addition to your Daily Post Pic/Text Summary. Mod friendly challenge! However, please use discretion when using them. Using a mod to fulfill an aspiration is disallowed. Exception: May be used to correct bugs and/or glitches. Joining teens at high school is not required to fulfill them. The Sims Medieval won't launch
I uninstalled and re-downloaded the Sims Medieval and it didn't work at all. I downloaded powershell and ran this thing that was marked as a solution before: echo "Launch Sims Medieval..." I tried to use the EA contact support thing, but every time I said "The Sims Medieval won't launch" to the chat bot, it ended the conversation abruptly. I can't believe the state that EA is letting their app support slip to. This is so disappointing. Why would I ever buy another EA game if it's so hard to get support for them? And if you don't plan on keeping up with game maintenance for an old game, why re-release and re-sell it??
I want this game to succeed
I will keep it civil and as quick as I can whilst still giving some detail. -We all want full Tix to be rolled over each season, or to have the portion roll over as previously mentioned. We DO NOT want the Tix to NOT roll over at all each season. -We do not want to Rent an area we've already been in with some minor additions for razzle dazzle, and have it clarified as "new". Adding new minor things to the Tutorial world, and changing the lighting doesn't make it new. It doesn't make it worth spending ripchips or spending money on the skate.pass to access. RipChips are easy to come by, yeah if you're already days into the game and have at least enough time to constantly rent 24hr periods. Those chips add up. You're still renting an island that should be already accessible to back and fourth return play... -The tattoos are cool, alongside the new replay editor changes. -Nobody wants an oversaturated and overpriced store, please. If you add stuff to the store, stop making everything SVB exclusive; aside from the boxes being the only things to spend ripchips on IN THE STORE. (NO. The Taxi thing is not a good example of spending ripchips) -Community Parks are on the backburner? Brickswich still not coming? Annoying and frustrating timed/speed challenges? - If they're anything like "Nosebleeds" just don't. All I ask as well as a final note. Please address these in a post next week, do not let them sit on a backburner.
Petite Alsace collaboration - Open for participation!
Happy New Year and welcome to another Sims 3 community collaboration hosted by Hidehi2 , Sandraelle and soocoolsim ! Introducing Petite Alsace inspired by picturesque Strasbourg, Colmar and Ribeauville with a dual French and German blend of charming, flower-laden villages and half-timbered homes. We anticipate the completed world will be a lovely addition to your game. Experienced creators (Intermediate+) are invited to join us in creating builds to add to the base world. If you love decorating but building isn’t your forte, let us know and we'll try to build a shell for you. Everyone can experience Petite Alsace taking shape by downloading the base world and installing builds as they become available. Please keep an eye on the "News and Updates" post for milestones and links to new creations as they become available. Constructive comments throughout this event are also welcome, so don't be shy. Take a look at the available lots using the Map posts as reference (see links above). Indicate you're on board and sign up for your first claim by replying on this thread with your chosen map lot reference # (eg A8). I will update the lists with claims and add download / media links when builds are completed. Every two weeks (around the 1st and 15th of the month) a new claiming period starting with a 'Claiming Day' post will begin. During this period, if you join the collaboration or have a build in progress on Claiming Day, you can claim 1 lot. For ongoing participants, if all previously claimed builds are completed and (no cc) download link(s) submitted by Claiming Day, you may claim up to 2 lots. BUILDING GUIDELINES Please stay within the theme of each map area and overall Alsace inspiration. You have creative freedom otherwise. Inspiration links at the top of this post may be helpful. All / any EA Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs and official Store Items can be used. Free EA Store Items are OK for use. Note: Some are no longer available for download so use at your discretion. NO third-party Custom Content is allowed. Please Custard Check your exported file before uploading to double check. We highly recommend play-testing your build before uploading to ensure no routing concerns and users can enjoy as intended. Do test placement of your final build. This helps identify any potential issues (e.g. windows / floor tiles out of place). To do this... export your build, save your game, delete the existing build, then replace with the exported version from your library. Take a careful look around and fix as needed. It will be useful for players if the Petite Alsace lot address is included in your build description on the Exchange, albeit optional. Do take the time to put your best foot forward to make your build(s) shine inside and out. Just be cautious about using a ton of clutter since that can add to lag when playing. Each build will be showcased with credit in video walkthroughs on YouTube once the world is completed. Once your build is available on the Sims 3 Exchange, please post a reply on this thread including: name of build / map reference and/or address / download link / cover picture / custard screenshot confirming no 3rd party custom content included. hello everyone! I'm writing this hoping to find people who still plays ts3! i play The Sims since I was a kid and most of the time it was ts3 but I've never had any friends on my profile, so I decided to check on here if anyone is interested in becoming friends in the game :) thank youuuGrinding and Manualing
I really hoped they would put in a balancing mechanic like Tony Hawk games when grinding and manualing. If this is a skate sim then grinding and manualing should be difficult. Challenge =Fun!!! I believe that yes some people want to keep it casual when they play, but for hard core gamers it makes sense that it would be hard to manual and grind. Maybe it is something that can be toggled on and off.....But there just needs to be more challenging. I mean where are the stakes? Why am I stringing along a big line? Why am I playing a skate sim if there is zero challenge unless you are jumping off of buildings? THOUGHTS?Tix Change = NO NO NO NOOOOOO
Edit - At least make the Tix converted to a 1-1 for SVB, so the next seasom we can re-buy our tix back with the tix we grinded. Or, or just don't do this change at all. I am gonna make this abundantly clear and slightly short n' simple. I am gonna try to be calm and respectful. This change, should NOT go through. I have done every Tix challenge since release, and even gathered randoms and a friend EVERY WEEK for the OTL challenges the devs so strongly incentivised to be done with others, because they HATE solo players. I have OVERGRINDED the amount of Tix and even purchased some Tix prior to finishing the skate.pass, because of the PRIOR changes mentioned about TIX NOT FULLY being carried over season to season. Now... With the new changes announced, now I find out I WASTED ALL MY TIME AND SOME MONEY ON TIX THAT WON'T AT ALL BE CARRIED OVER?! WHAT?! WHY?! Who and What is making these decisions man? I LOVE this game and have TRIED my BEST to get people into it, because I LOVE skateboarding and I love skate. These changes man... As if the SVB greed wasn't enough, now we have 0 incentive to play anymore because Tix will go to waste. Please.. DO NOT go through with this change. I also still haven't gotten my 600 Tix refunded from the bug from the start of Season 2... in the photos attached to this forum post is my CURRENT Tix and such for proof. I am gonna be absolutely LIVID beyond belief if they all are going to waste. as a side note, YES I have also gotten ALL DIY and all boxes opened too. I only grind the Tix challenges because I have reached MAX everywhere else and got bored of grinding ripchips everyday. I login, do the dailies; get the free stuff from the store until tomorrow's challenges refresh, and then the weeklies an then monthlies reset. Rinse and Repeat.. Do ya'll devs hate us consistent players???

Throwdown Challenges (Boxing Gloves): - This challenge would be more interesting if the winner received a bonus, such as points or currency that could then be redeemed. - It would be great to have a sub-mode, similar to the "Skate 2 - Party Mode," where skaters take turns within a time limit. This would allow everyone in the "Skate Party" to see each other's skates in turn. When all skaters are skating individually in a challenge, you don't see what the other skaters are doing. Perhaps a reward system, as described above, would also be a motivator here. Skate or die...
Introducing: The Kealoha Dynasty (My Royalty & Legacy Storyline)
Sul sul everyone!, Meet the Kealoha Dynasty of Sulani. The dynasty is currently led by (Knight) Nohea and his wife, (Dame) Tiare. They have two children: (Lord) Akami, the heir because he is the oldest male, and (Lady) Leilani, the youngest daughter. The Kealoha Dynasty has been Sulani's ruling royal family for the past 400 years now, beginning in the year 1626. However, somewhere along the line, the Kealoha Dynasty has fallen from grace. The Kealoha Dynasty was always loved by the Sulanians because of the dynasty's culture of being kind-hearted and benevolent to their people, as well as taking good care of the island and its crystal blue oceans. However, the infamous Kualana Kealoha, Nohea's 3rd great-grandfather, was a rotten apple from the tree who ruled so badly that he caused the entire island of Sulani to overthrow the Kealoha Dynasty in a nationwide uprising. Kualana was a self-entitled, cold-hearted ruler who ruled with an iron fist and caused the majority of the commoners of Sulani to be poor and hungry due to extremely high taxation. After that, the ruling Kealoha Dynasty had its ruling power stripped to being merely the governing nobility, rather than the ruling nobility that had the full trust and allegiance of the Sulanian people. The Kealoha Dynasty has also held a secret from the Sulanian people ever since they were in power; they are an ancient merfolk bloodline, meaning that they have mermaid blood. However, not everyone is a mermaid; on rare occasions, it skips a generation. Nohea, Tiare, and Akami are mermaids, but Leilani is not. Many of the Sulanians misunderstand mermaids and view the merfolk as horrifying beasts, and if the secret ever gets out now, the chances of the Kealohas ever gaining the love of the Sulanians will just go down the toilet. However, being merfolk is not the only Kealoha secret. Some secrets are bad enough to destroy and tarnish the entire dynastic name... Will the Kealohas gain back their ruling power and the trust and allegiance of the Sulanians, or will their secrets find them out and cause their name to go down in history as the worst dynasty to have ever lived, having another dynasty take over? Stay tuned....
