EA App not recognizing F1 25 Steam license
I bought this game June 26, with high hopes of playing in preparation for the now released F1 movie Unfortunately, I kept running into this issue where the game doesn't recognizes my EA Account, and the EA App refuses to acknowledge my Steam license, despite the game being bought and installed legitimately through Steam. It keeps refusing access to online features, claiming it cannot connect to the EA Online servers. I have already done every step possible to troubleshoot, from re linking my EA and Steam account, reinstalling the EA App, verifying the Steam game files, running both apps as administrator, etcetera. It is also worth noticing I have contacted EA Support multiple times, and told this is a widespread issue affecting multiple F! 25 Steam players, not just me. Regardless, I was offered no fix, besides refunding the game and re-buying it via the EA App, which I think is an unacceptable solution because then why even bother offering EA games on Steam. Not wishing to be a nuisance, but I paid 74 USD for this game and DLC, and I can't access basic online features. IS there a way to re-sync the licenses manually? Or if there is an estimated time for a fix. Thanks in advanceConnection Issue's
I have a strange one that doesn't seem to have been reported. I have the Iconic Edition through Steam, I can start up the game, log in, the game connects to online services, everything goes according to plan and as it should. Once you play a game/race, doesn't matter what it is, Time Trial, Single/Multi, Career, Breaking Point, F1 World, doesn't matter when you finish the session, the game fails to connect with online services and defaults to offline. Try to reconnect, nothing, same error code (Picture Below), although sometime that too randomly changes. Sometimes at the top left of the screen the yellow/white text will quickly say "Checking Privileges" before the "Connecting to Online Services" Have tried all fixes, DNS, Resetting Router, Re-Install, Re-Link Steam, nothing changes. The only fix is to exit game and restart and it connects straight away. All the points, data, etc you earnt are sitting there waiting as unclaimed, so the game knows what you have done. Even went back to F1 2024, played for an hour without an issue, so it's totally confusing. I am that desperate now I am contemplating paying for the game again in the EA app and putting in a Steam return but fearful the problem wont change given F! 2024 and all other EA game on Steam are working without an issue. Looking forward to an answerCan’t connect to EA Racenet
Hey guys, so the past couple of days I’ve been having major trouble connecting to the EA Racenet on F1 24 (I’m on Xbox series S) I only seem to have the issue when I try to join League Racing on the main menu. I keep getting an error message saying “unable to join EA Racenet, please try again later.” Anyone else been experiencing this or got solution for it?49Views1like1CommentCant get past "No Preset Control Scheme for Devices" screen
The game loads fine and responds to keyboard and controller button pushes on the PC to advance through all of the intro screens, except when I get to the "No Preset Control Scheme for Devices" screen I can not get the game to repspond to the "Okay" promptCo-op career mode AI bugs
There's a weird issue I run into often lately. When playing co-op career mode, AI in races often straight up ignore my presence. They will force me off track, squish me into the walls, run into me and cause me to spin. The difficulty level is 80, the same as I play in my solo career, where the issue doesn't occur. Sometimes I can see the logo indicating poor connection, thus I'm suspecting some conectivity issues influecing co-op AI. Had anybody ran into this issue as well?
