Orphaned Progression after Cross-Progression - Data missing from BOTH accounts
Hello EA Community and Support Team (specifically EA_Mako EA_Blueberry), I am facing a critical issue where my entire account progression (Level, unlocked Legends, Skins, Stats, etc.) has become orphaned and is inaccessible on any of my EA Accounts following a Cross-Progression linking error in November 2023. This is the situation: I originally played Apex Legends for dozens of hours on PS4 (reaching a 350+ in game level, having tons of cosmetics and BP since season 1 and investing quite a lot of money). My original PSN account, named "Tricky_Husli" (formerly "MGErmacking64" before a name change), was originally linked to an EA account called MGErmacking64, where I invested a lot of time and money. In November 2023, I disconnected my PSN account from that EA account to try to transfer it to another account called HusliDFrog in an attempt to cross-save. This resulted in my PSN content account being missing, where all my progress was stored. Later, after trying to recover that lost content, I saw many people commenting that by disconnecting and reconnecting the account to their original EA account, the content would be recovered, since the data is saved in the EA account. In an attempt to recover this content, I reconnected my PSN account to its original EA account (MGErmacking64), where I found that I was now also level 1, as if it were my first time entering the game. So now as I have been reading, It appears to be orphaned on the server side due to the unlinking process in late 2023. I have proof of ownership (purchase receipts, old mails, and probably i have some old screenshots on my PS4 playing the game) and i can verify any details required. I've seen that many users have been able to recover their accounts in very similar situations, so I sincerely ask please for a response and if there is any way to manually restore the orphaned data. A current weekly challenge is to deal 1000 damage with grenades, with incendiary grenades counting as double (2x). This would suggest that killing a player with an incendiary grenade from full health is worth 200 points. This is not the case, damage tracking for the challenge appears to be significantly reduced,XP Boosters are broken, or the game is designed to waste too much time.
Hello, XP boosters of all types are broken. They keep running out while you wait: To find a game wait for it to load (hope you chose a popular mode). Wait for the briefing animations, wait for the squad to run up and pose. Choose your class? wait for the match to start, it's had enough people for like, a minute but hasn't started starting yet. Wait for the intro animation, wait for the countdown, you're finally playing, it's been 4 minutes, your booster was for 15. Match ends in 6, the other team doesn't know what a domination is. Wait for the after match report, wait for the progression animation, wait 40 seconds to stay in a squad then another 40 to match make, back to map loading, briefings and pre-match WAITING. a Your booster runs out. They don't even sell them in the store, so what's the issue? If they're vibe coded and you don't know how to make them apply ONLY to play time, say so? Then maybe just ADJUST XP gain up a bit.
Progress lost in cross progression
I lost all my game progress due to a cross progression issue, and multiple support cases have failed to resolve it. I played apex on Xbox for over 1.5 years, then switched to PC before cross progression existed. When cross progression launched, my Xbox account was linked to an old EA account, so I unlinked it and linked it to my current EA account (the one used on PC). But when I launched the game, I was never given the option to choose my main account — it automatically made the PC account the main one, overwriting my Xbox progress entirely. The light glitch in redsec you guys still have yet to fix, arriving in a ranked redsec game dead and below the map, not showing up with a pistol and just my finger pointing out, not able to crawl when you get down, grabbing a gun from a loadout and it not showing up...im sure there's more. Quit dropping new bs and just fix what yall have..My entire day 1 account is gone
I have jumped on my ps5 today opened Apex and it has forced me to create and link an EA account i have then done everything it has forced me to do because it wouldnt let me continue without it once i had done this my entire account was gone my account ive had since season 1 ive spent thousands of dollars and had 4 heirlooms i legit spent $100 a couple days ago now its all gone im literally gonna have a bath with my toaster if this doesnt get fixed
Cross progression bug
Hello, I started playing apex legends on my ps4 in 2020, I had a lot of progress and purchases on my ps4 account. Then I wanted to start playing on PC and I didn't even know what cross progression was I thought it would be like fortnite where you can just switch consoles and stuff but I learned quickly there was no cross progression so, I just played very little on a different brand new account. Then, when I heard cross progression came I logged on trying to see it work out but then I loaded up and saw the same brand new low level account, not the one from my ps4 I was expecting. Someone from EA support was able to find out I unlinked my account in 2023 and relinked it to a different EA account. This is surely why I lost all of my stuff from my original account I used to play on ps4 in 2020. I went on my ps4 and saw that all my stuff was gone even on console, it actually showed the new account I played on pc before cross progression. I just want to get my original stuff back and I was told by someone from EA support the best chance I have at getting my stuff back is to relink the original ps4 account to the original EA account. Did anyone have any success doing this; is there any way to for sure get my progress back? I know now that there was a disclaimer saying there was a risk when unlinked accounts, it was my mistake for not paying attention to that. Thank you all
XBOX Lag compared to PC
It seems that there maybe a slight lag between PC and XBOX with XBOX seeing a few milliseconds more latency than PC players. Which means you always lose to a PC player in straight gunfight, even if you are the one firing first. Massively frustrating. Turning XPlay off only to struggle to fill servers. Please fix. (xbox is wired to network with BT Fibre)
