Excessive Drinking (Water, Juice,...) (Patch 1.58.63)

Sims drink too much water in their free time. Sims will feel pain when going to the bathroom. instead of going to the bathroom Sim instead drinks water. It makes you feel more pain when you have to go to the bathroom.

    Hello all,

If any of you are still encountering this on the latest game version (without mods), would you be willing to share your save file(s)?

If so, please send a private message with a link to the file to TheSimsDirect Instructions can be found here: http://x.ea.com/74420

    Thanks!

I noticed this happening in my sims apartment in City Living. I do have mods. Don't think it is related to a mod. Her parents always get water and leave the dirty cups in odd places, thankfully my sim is magic and can scrub them away because she can not get to many.

My sims are terrible about the water.  If I leave them standing for even half a second, they want a drink of water.  If I cancel the action, a lot of the time it re-queues before I can even navigate through the environment and pie menus to start them on an actual task.  At one point I was having trouble collecting cards for the Ravendancer tarot deck because my sim kept cancelling the 'use intuition' actions and flying back to the cemetery on her broom to get a glass of water from the bathroom instead.  Several of my sims are also obsessed with drinking orange juice or milk out of the fridge, they'll do it constantly and also cancel other actions to do it.  Interestingly enough it doesn't seem to be all the sims that do the juice and milk, I sometimes wonder if there's a hidden trait that makes them worse about it than others.  The water, though, is universal.

Is there a way to send for console? I tried to click the link on PC and it said access denied

  • I hate the excessive water drinking almost as much as the obsessive phone use. I have some large households and it seems like every hour someone needs to "grab a glass of water". Sims have been obnoxiously thirsty. I'd be absolutely fine if some days no one needed water at all. They're not all mermaids.

And especially, can you turn this off for Occults? Vampires needing water is ludicrous.

Scruberoo used on Potty will now get rid of the green steam
Added Scruberoo to Hamper to clean up Clothes
Added Scruberoo to Floors which will clean the Dust on the whole Lot
