F1® 25 - v1.06 - Vehicle/AI Changes Feedback
Hey everyone, Following the release of the v1.06 patch (the patch notes can be found by tapping here) we'd appreciate your feedback on the changes that have been made to racing against computer-controlled opponents (AI). Whilst all feedback and additional bug reports are appreciated on our dedicated Technical Issues & Bug Reports page, please keep replies to this post relevant to the questions posed below. Since the patch, have you noticed that have been able to maintain a similar top speed to AI competitors? Since the patch, have you noticed you are more competitive against AI competitors in wet conditions? If using automatic gears, are you happy with the changes made to upshifting in wet conditions since the patch? Do you have any other feedback on the changes that have been made when racing against the AI compared to previously? As a reminder, additional improvements to the experience racing against the AI are being considered. Thanks again for your feedback and support with F1® 25. - James / CM_TGK Community and Creator Manager @ EA SPORTS / CodemastersSolved5.6KViews11likes113CommentsAI very slow in free practice
The AI is very slow in free practice. Playing on the same difficulty as qualifying, I noticed that they set very high times in free practice; the last-place driver is almost 4 seconds behind the leader, while I'm the fastest, more than 0.5 seconds behind second place. And in qualifying, I'm between eighth and tenth. My teammate is 1.5 seconds slower than me in free practice, and we're almost tied in qualifying. I believe that only the teams' performance update can fix this. This game is broken10Views0likes0CommentsMore water spray in the rain
I think EA should definitely increase the amount of spray in rain a lot more!It will be so much more challenging and realistic and obviously a lot of player love that.If EA isn't doing it just because the Esports driver or some players doesn't like it,then i think they should just give us an option in the setting for the amount of spray, that will be good for both sides. Hello, Why is it that if I end a season strong, smartly managing my money, avoid reckless spending, and carry over a healthy reserve, I'm penalized for it? How does that make sense under any accounting system, real-world or simulated? If I enter the new season with, say, $85–100M in the bank, the game counts that entire amount as if it’s been spent for cost cap purposes. Which means I’ve already “used up” most of my $135M cap without spending a dollar. How is that even remotely logical? That’s not how a cost cap works in Formula 1, or in any business for that matter. In the real F1, the cost cap is based on expenditures, not cash reserves. Meaning that a team can have $500 million in the bank, and it’s completely irrelevant unless they actually spend it on regulated activities. The FIA doesn’t fine teams for having money. They fine them for how they use it. Which means EA should apply just a basic amount of accounting logic to this game. It punishes players for smart financial management. It forces you to dump cash for no reason, which isn’t intuitive or explained anywhere. And it flat-out breaks immersion when your championship-winning team is told it can’t spend what it earned without violating an artificial limit.21Views0likes0CommentsAPX GP Livery MTC
Please bring it back, I was away for a little while but I couldn't buy it because I didn't know it was happening. As I found about it, it was way after July 11th. I love the livery and I really want it back and buy it, please EA. I beg, if you will or if you think about it, thank you.25Views1like1CommentFFB on the road bump
I've posted about this several times I'm a controller user Why can't we get feedback on the road? No matter what the road is, we get no feedback, we only get a feel for traction and cornering Look at Norris' Monaco pole lap. He bounces off the huge bumps, but we ride calmly. When we're on the straights in Baku, when we're touching past the pit entry at Interlagos, when we're sprinting down the Las Vegas strip at 360kph, we get no feedback from the controller.11Views0likes0CommentsRain Ruins the race
Hey everyone, I just have to vent about something that’s really making F1 25 frustrating for me—especially in the rain. It feels like only my car is losing massive time compared to the AI. I’m talking about 1 to 2 seconds per lap, and it’s not something that’s happening to everyone—just me! The AI cars seem completely unaffected or at least lose way less time, and it totally ruins the race. Honestly, it doesn’t make sense. I know wet conditions should be tough, but it feels like the game is punishing me specifically, while the AI just carries on like nothing’s changed. I’ve tried different setups, but nothing really helps. It’s not a general issue for all cars—just my car versus the AI. There are definitely some bugs or problems here. I’ve seen similar complaints about the AI not being affected by rain or tire wear in past games, and it’s really disappointing to see it still happening. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me? I really hope the devs take a look, because right now, wet races just aren’t any fun.710Views12likes9Comments
