Expansion Packs and game add-on’s not working/loading
I recently got a new Xbox console and switched all of my games and data over via network transfer. I own the sims 4 but have a physical copy(game disc), when I open the game and tried to load one of my save files, I got a message saying “game data incomplete”. I exited to the main menu and looked at my gallery and to my surprise almost all the cloths on my sims and furniture in my households in my save files weren’t loading. It says that the expansion packs that I used are “not owned” even though they are already installed on my console. I did some research and people with the same issue said to not uninstall the add-ons because that would just make it worse. I also made sure that my new console was set to my home console like others suggested. After every attempt to get the add-ons to load ,the game still won’t register that I already own them and they are already installed. I don’t know what to do, and just want to play the game. Can anyone help ? :(
New laptop
I recently got a new laptop as my old one broke and I couldn’t access it, and I redownloaded sims, but it doesn’t have my old game saved. I don’t know if it automatically saved to iCloud or not but I can’t seem to find my old game. It just says ‘new game.’ I am not sure if I am able to transfer my old game and where it might be saved to. I need some help please guys, thanks.
EA App & Sims 4 won't load
Ever since I downloaded the Windows 11 24H2 update on 12/29/24, I am unable to open Sims 4 or the EA App. When I say they won't open, I mean that absolutely nothing happens when I double click on the Sims 4 icon on my desktop or try to open the EA App even if I run it as an administrator. There is not a window, error message, or anything else that happens. All Windows systems are updated, graphics card and drivers have been updated, cache has been cleared, disk cleanup has been performed, I reviewed the system error logs only to find nothing is there and I haven't downloaded any new mods. I reached out to EA support and they were less than helpful. They told me to do all of the updates I already have and then suggested I post something here with the hopes it will garner enough attention for EA to fix what ever is going on. having issues with my game
Ok well first off when I went to log in to my game to play it said that I didn't have any games on my profile so I repaired it, then when I was able to log into my game it said that I have to download the two game packs that I just bought yesterday, which by the way I did download after buying them yesterday, and every time I try to go to play it says that I need to download it, I already checked and it says that it has been downloaded already, how do I fix this, please this really frustrating me. Oh and also when I went to update my game yesterday I had to repair then too.EA tech support giving headaches.
i own a heap of the sims 4 expansions, packs, kits etc... there are items i have not purchased. as below bowling night stuff fitness stuff get famous luxury party movie hangout moschino stuff perfect patio spa day vintage glamour stuff backyard stuff cool kitchen stuff yet they are in my library, when i goto download them the photo 20250101_1858504 is what i get on the screen. i cannot be clearer, i have NOT purchased any of this list, yet its in my library, i've requested these be removed from my library so that i can buy thgem, but as the transcipt shows, the person is claiming i've bought them and they have been deleted from my account due to a chargeback... if thats the case then why are they still showing up in my library. the only charge back i have done is for star wars squadrons, which got my account banned and after a few years of fighting the ban so i could access the single player games on this account, this now happens.
External SSD drive not working
Hi! I just got a new hard drive to put my Sims 4 game on to save some space (I know absolutely nothing about this kind of stuff), but when I go to download The Sims into the hard drive folder, an error message comes up saying "Something went wrong. Try again later." But when I go to download it in just my Documents folder it works just fine. My SSD drive has never been used before or broken so I'm not really sure what to do.
erm what just happened?
my game has always run normally. been using a new PC the last few games i played and something wanted to download from my personal vault - (i think it was save games and cc from my old laptop). I didnt want this, wanted a fresh start so i clicked cancel and block app on automatic download. now when i try to run the game i get this: It is not already running, have restarted computer, gone into task manager and the only thing of relevance running is the EA app. what is going on??
Steam deck : I can't sign in with my EA account
Hi! I used to play the game on PC but wanted to play it on my steam deck . But after downloading the game on my steam deck( with steam ) i can't sign in with my EA account ( I can't link my steam account to my ea account ) . I tried a couple times today. I can enter my mail , my password . Then I enter the security code I receive . But after that , I go back to beginning . I still have to enter my mail , then my password ... Do you know what I can do to solve this ? Thanks !!
