'Failed to Launch Game: An Error on Our End' for Multiple Games. Any Fixes?
I read all the forum messages about this issue from 3 years ago and tried all their solutions. I sent in a ticket to EA Games. I cleared the cache, restarted everything, went into the EA Games folder in my program files, tried running as administrator, tried everything else people mentioned. I forced a game update, an app update, and all produced no results. What is the point of having a game you can't open? I never had this problem before the app. Yes, my new laptop meets and exceeds all requirements. Running Windows 11. What else can I do? And if the error is on EA Games end, why can't they fix it? The EA app doesn't work at all with a Windows desktop with multiple users logging in to the desktop. If one user has opened the EA app to play a game, then another user on the same PC cannot open the app and therefore cannot play the games. The only workaround is to use task manager to kill the EA app. How can I control the EA app so it will *fully shut down* and never stay in the task bar when games are closed? I know I can select "Exit" manually, but my daughter struggles with things that are not normal and continues to just click the x.Unable to link another console after I was hacked
This is really unfair what happened to me I've been on Apex for years now but earlier this year I got hacked somehow and I had to contact EA to recover my account the agent successfully recovered my account but at what price it unlinked my Xbox and PlayStation accounts to my EA account the thing is that "YOU CAN ONLY LINK A CONSOLE TO AN ACCOUNT ONLY ONCE IN A LIFETIME " i think this is absolutely absurd and we should get 2 or 3 chances i play on every platform but now im stuck on pc with tras aim assist and movement players I'm thinking about quiting after spending hundreds of dollars on the game but this is unfair if I knew i would not have agreed to unlink my account[UPDATE] EA app Friends List, Invites, Cross-Play — What's Going On
Hi all, For last few weeks, the right side of the EA app is in indefinite loading screen. My profile pic, status and friend list are a part of this infinite loading screen, PFA. Because of this, in game friends who are online don't show up as well as I don't show as Online for my friends. I have no issue playing the game but I am no longer able to play with my friends. Tried the following but nothing helped: App uninstall and re-install. Delete reg edit entries, clear local data after EA uninstall and reinstall. Delete Apex legends and EA app, delete all involved folders, local data, reg edit entries and reinstall. Restart router. Also tried installing EA app in D: drive(custom location) but it keeps installing in C: drive. Not sure if this helps though.Solved11KViews37likes298Comments[INFO REQUEST] "Service Limitations Apply" Error In EA app Or Online
Hi everyone, Over the past week, we’ve seen a small uptick in reports from players encountering a “Service Limitations Apply” error in the EA app on PC and Mac. This error appears during login, when launching a game via a third-party launcher (like Steam or Epic), or when trying to link those launchers to an EA account. To help us investigate and hopefully resolve this for those affected, please share the following information in your reply: Your region/country of residence Whether you are located in or connecting through a country listed under EA’s restricted regions (see: "EA games unavailable in some countries or regions") Are you using a VPN? If so, please disable it completely (make sure no VPN-related processes are running), reboot your device, and try again. Your EA app Error Reporter ID You can generate this from the EA app and post it here in the thread. See [INFO/GUIDE] Index - Troubleshooting the EA app. Once we have these details, we can investigate the issue further and try to identify its cause. Thanks for your help!5KViews2likes44CommentsEA App Inaccessible - NTDLL Issue
This Issue started about 3 Months Ago when my EA App logged itself out, restarted the app, which shows the app login screen for around 2 seconds, before crashing. I tried to run Repair on the app, didnt work. I ran app recovery (cleared cache) which allowed the login screen to work for a few more seconds, before crashing again. I did a fresh app install, still didnt fix it, and I cannot even provide an error number since the EA Error Reporter has the same Crash issue too. I used the event viewer to find that the app was experiencing an NTDLL.DLL error, which i researched fixes on how to resolve this issue, none of which were successful. This included running sfc /scannow in the CMD, which came out clean, but i still restarted my pc after this, and then ran DISM. i then restarted my pc again with no startup apps enabled and the app still crashed. As many fixes suggested, by far the best way to get around this is to use the EA app on a separate windows profile, which i have been doing, however this issue has been bugging me for far too long now and i am wandering if anybody else has had this issue or if it can be fixed in a future app update.26Views0likes3Comments"You don't own this game" despite just redeeming the key.
I have previously played Mirror's Edge via EA Play on my PC and wanted to play again without a subscription. The EA app had no option to purchase the game so I turned to CD Keys. I was able to redeem the code but the EA app is telling me I don't own the game. I have tried reloading the page in the EA app, logging out & in, flushing the app cache and uninstalling then reinstalling the EA app, all to no avail. What do I need to do to play this game? Thanks :)Uninstall problem
i installed the game (Mirror's Edge) today, but i decided to uninstall it because i didn't like it. unfortunately, despite attempts to uninstall it via the EA App or installed applications in Windows, the game is not only still visible in the EA app, but I also can still play it. I also tried to uninstall it via Revo Uninstaller and the effect is exactly the same: the Mirros's Edge game is still visible in the EA app (and only there) and somehow I can still play it.SolvedEA saying "failed to launch game" and other issues
So about 3 days ago, my Sims 4 was working just fine.. until I updated it. After it updated, I didn't open it for bit because I decided to look for new cc. So when I finished doing that I decided to open the game, but was met with these messages by the EA app; "Failed to launch game, come back and try again later..." (it was close to that) and on the top of my account there was also a message saying " some features are not available because the EA app has launched from another application" which makes no sense since I ONLY play the Sims 4 on my laptop. I really wished I had taken pictures so this would have been easier to explain. I would go back and take one right now, but I tried to delete and redownload EA and the installer keeps saying "The EA app is already installed" after I downloaded an entire app to literally delete it. it won't let me install it, and I need it to run the sims 4 and see if it works since I had to delete it and redownload it. and when I DO press any of the options it gives me, which are "Launch the EA app" or "repair" it say it can't find the app. On top of that, I've restarted the EA app I've restarted my computer went through all my mods and got rid of conflicted ones checked both the Sims and EA's compatibility Running them both as administrator clearing EA's cache deleting both EA and Sims 4 clearing Steam's cache Nothing has worked and I don't what to do, and anything I've seen online that is actually meant to help was posted 3 years ago or more.
