I launch the game via the EA app and reach the splash screen; as soon as it says "Game is starting," the splash screen disappears, and 3–5 seconds later, I’m automatically back in the EA app. Please take a look at the screenshot—I just want to play the beta. I never had any issues like this with FC26. Please fix this bug. The Ground has potential but the current setup is shocking
The game is currently almost unplayable. I was really looking forward to the FC 27 Closed Beta, but I’ve had constant problems connecting to the EA servers. Even when I finally manage to connect and start a match, I get less than five seconds of gameplay before being disconnected. The game then freezes on the menu. I also selected goalkeeper as my preferred position, yet I kept being placed outfield. For a game of this calibre, basic matchmaking and position-selection features should work correctly. Small issues like this quickly add up and make the whole experience feel unfinished and frustrating. The 2v2 and 3v3 modes also need a proper “winner stays on” system. At the moment, after every match you have to leave, return to The Grounds, and queue all over again. It completely ruins the flow of the mode. EA should look at how 2K handles its online basketball modes, because the current setup feels unnecessarily slow and poorly designed. Finally, the waving animations at the beginning of each match are incredibly cringy. They should either be removed or made skippable. I understand this is a closed beta and that issues are expected, but the server problems, incorrect position assignments, freezing, and poor mode structure make it extremely difficult to properly test or enjoy the game in its current state.
