Direct X 12 issues with Veilguard
I've suddenly started having DX 12 issues with Veilguard whether I'm streaming it or not. Twice within ten minutes, I just had a) total crash to desktop with a GPU Crash/Hang error. b) not even a minute later, same issue but with this error. I honestly don't know what to do because my drivers are up to date, Win 11 is up to date, I've even done a totally clean uninstall/reinstall of the drivers. (Radeon 9070XT) So I am STUMPED.Dragon Age Veigluard Freezes Pc
Hello everyone. I have a problem with the game. At random moments and after a random amount of time, the game freezes my entire computer and requires me to shut it down. I've tried searching forums for help and have done almost everything I could. Deleting one of the folders that players often report, changing settings, disabling RTX, and other such things. Regardless of the settings, the game simply freezes my entire computer after about 3 minutes, 15 seconds, or an hour. This doesn't happen at certain moments with a lot of effects, because it can even happen in the menu. I dont know why i have that problem but please help... im tired of that...Hard crashing on console [Xbox Series X]
Hard crashes are still occurring post-patch on Xbox Series X and PS5. There are multiple posts across here, Reddit, the official Bioware discord, etc all with the same issue. Randomly the game will crash, with not easily identifiable causes. The game will sometimes just crash the game, other times it will completely crash the console itself, powering it off. It will happen in combat, when paused, out of combat; there doesn't seem to be a specific trend. Sometimes it will be an hour between crashes, but more often than not it's in <10min increments. No settings changes or fixes address the issue. It happens in both performance and fidelity modes. Could we get an acknowledgement that Bioware is investigating this issue? There has been no direct acknowledgement that Bioware is aware of this issue and many people were hoping this patch would resolve it.Dragon Age Veilguard PC crash
My DA Veilguard keeps crashing and is practically unplayable. I have tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to work. It took me three seperate tries to get through character creation before my monitor went black and my PC wouldn't turn off. Each time this happens I have to switch it off by the mains because nothing else works. All drivers are up to date Windows is fully updated Antivirus software is operating well Updated BiOS Verified integrity of game files Set game to run as administrator Reconfigured preferred setting in NVIDIA control panel Deleted shaders in local files Soft reboot my PC Cleared cache and flushed DNS I am at a loss.Game won't install from Disc (Xbox X)
I bought a physical copy of DA:V for XBox X but am having issues installing it. It installs fine until it prompts me for Disc 2, then sometime after the install stops. Usually around 58% I've un-installed and tried power cycling my console a couple of times and even tried downloading in offline mode just in case the Day 1 update was interfering but nothing has helped. Once I get to Disc 2, the install keeps stopping. No error code given.(Steam Deck) Remote Play Won't Connect After Patch 4
I can't play the game. I have been streaming the game via remote play on steam to my steam deck. No other game has any issue, but after the latest update to dragon age the veilguard the control prompts constantly flash between keyboard and controller, it eats most of the inputs, and the camera won't stop pointing at the ground. It's completely unplayable. The game was broken by the update and noone in support is even acknowledging the issue because it's a niche problem. Valve won't refund me because I've played too much and it's not my fault that the game is broken.Terrain not loading/No menu
I'm having an issue where I get to a certain point and most of the terrain isn't loading in and there's no access to the in-game menu. Playing on Window's 10/Steam: I'm at the beginning of the game when rook destroys the scaffolding at the ritual site and the game black-screens forever with audio intact (part of the problem but not the main problem). If I exit out of the game completely and load back in, it starts in the cut-scene of rook and companion shoving the pillar and it falling and so on and so forth. The game plays through the rest of the cutscene until rook blacks out after touching their head and seeing blood. Then, the game loads into a playable part with rook and the companion by the eluvian but most of the terrain isn't loaded in and hitting the button to get to the in-game menu appears to pause the game but there's no menu UI (so I can't load a save or go back to the main menu or anything). There's nothing I can interact with or any apparent way to move the story forward. (Also I can't die from fall damage in this state, I found out when I ran off the edge of everything.) I've tried backing out and reloading the save, loading from an earlier auto-save, and from manual saves, and I've tried the whole game over with a premade character. I've tried uninstalling and redownloading the game and the game's already saved to SSD. I've had Steam verify the game files several times. I'm already playing at the lowest graphics settings. All my drivers are updated. Someone help, I'm out of ideas of how to get through this. Picture attached of the partially-loaded game:Solved
