skate. launches in exclusive fullscreen at wrong res before correcting itself
I tried reporting this many months back but my post was merged with someone else's unrelated thread about a somewhat similar issue, but not the same as what I'm experiencing. That other issue has since been fixed, this one has not. Almost every time I launch skate. it'll first try to launch in exclusive fullscreen mode at a small resolution for a few seconds, before then switching back to what I have set in-game (borderless windowed + 2560x1440). I deal with this bug 90% of the time when I launch the game, and I've been dealing with it since day one of the game's release. I'm not sure why sometimes it doesn't occur, I've found no rhyme or reason. Explanation of the bug and steps taken to reproduce it: Launch the game through Steam. The anti-cheat splash image appears. Once the anti-cheat finishes loading and disappears the game begins to open, except it shows as a black window in a small resolution for a few seconds. Then the game forcefully tries to switch to exclusive fullscreen at whatever tiny resolution it's using, shifting around my whole desktop and all other opened windows/programs. After about 2 seconds it switches back to the correct screen mode (like borderless) and resolution that I have selected in the game's settings. I recorded the bug so you can see what this looks like on my end, I had to record using my phone since OBS doesn't record it properly when the game switches resolutions: https://youtu.be/qlGQxSIvp6k Things I've already tried: Deleting the game's config files multiple times. Disabling GSYNC Setting the game to windowed/exclusive fullscreen/borderless mode. Different Windows display scalings. These two potential fixes from the other resolution bug. Forcing windowed mode and my resolution through launch commands. None of these have helped whatsoever. The game still attempts to launch at exclusive fullscreen + a very low resolution.
Accessory Eyelash Thumbnails Include Standard Eyelashes
It's difficult to tell with the official EA eyelashes from Lovestruck and the BG update but their thumbnails include the standard eyelashes as well. This is much more apparent on CC eyelashes that deviate from the standard colour choices as they can be seen clipping through the brown looking EA lashes inlcuded in the thumbnails. You can see in the screenshot that the official lashes worn by my Sim are thinner than they appear in the thumbnail because the thumbnail includes the standard lashes. The thumbnails of the CC lashes make the issue more obvious. The thumbnails for the EA lashes were generated before I ever added any CC lashes to my game.
Black Photos & Paintings after update 1.124.55/2.33

We understand how important these photos and paintings are, and we’re continuing to investigate all scenarios where this issue may appear. If you’re still experiencing it, please share the following details: Is this happening with old, or new photos? Are you using a brand new save, or an old one? What were you doing when this happened? (i.e. taking a photo out of your Sim’s inventory, swapping households, traveling) Are you actively loaded into the lot where the painting/photo is placed? How were these photos taken? (i.e. paintings, with the camera, through the photo booth, or with the phone) For paintings, was this a custom paint from reference, or a normal painting? Was the painting downloaded from the Gallery? Did you add any filters to the photos? What quality is the photo or painting?
