Game freezes during gameplay
Sul! Sul! I just want to say I love the new update with auto save and the features and fixes but I do have a big issue and the issue is when I'm playing the game it stop and freeze during live mode and the times it freezes is (sims hours)3am 8 am 6am and now it freezes during the afternoon (sims hours) and after it does that the graphics look fuzzy for a long time to the point I restart the game to make the graphics look clear but after awhile it's does it again and again....can someone resolve this issue so I can enjoy gameplay better thank you4Views0likes0CommentsMy lots are being deleted once loaded in.
My lots are being erased. If I load into a house hold, once I'm loaded into the game, the lot is completely empty. It happens with households that I'm play, and empty house, a venue, it will be an empty lot after the loading screen. Once that happens, when I go to the world map, it looks like an empty lot as well. If I'm playing and have my sim travel somewhere, the lot will be completely empty once loaded in. So now if I want to play, I have to create a house, play and then can't go back in there the next time I play because all my work will be deleted. I have a few different saved files and its happening with all of them.89Views0likes7CommentsFace distortion
Since the latest update my sims are affected by a face distortion, similar to the one previously seen with the tanning bug. Unlike the tanning bug, which could be avoided, this is persistent. The best way I can describe it is the faces are generally rounder than usual, cheeks are bigger and the eyes are different. The mouths are also affected, but to a lesser degree. This distortion affects all age groups but looks a lot more obvious on YA than children. I do use mods and CC so I fired up a new game with mods folder removed. Deleted cache file, ran a repair game. The distortion almost looks more obvious on vanilla sims. I am on a Mac, but also use my Windows PC now and then to play. Tested on Windows machine, again with mods folder removed in entirety, and issue is the same as on the Mac. My game is updated and as I mentioned this appeared right after updating. I have all packs and most kits. My Mac is running Tahoe 26.5.2 and my PC is on Windows 11.37Views0likes4CommentsAuto Lights Not working
I'm also having an issue with the lights. All of the lights in every room stay on at all time unless I manually shut them off and they can only be shut down one room at a time. The auto-lights feature isn't working. These sims are at university and the house is a pre-built with no alterations so it's not a build issue. I've already tried removing all mods and starting with a clean game. I've deleted the cache. I've run the repair. I'm still having issues.24Views2likes3CommentsGame Window won't go Full Screen
Hi! I haven't had to do this before but I cannot seem to figure out what's wrong on my own. Basically when I went to open my game last night the game screen wouldn't open to full screen (the top bar of my desktop was showing as well as the dock at the bottom). I always play full screen on my laptop and so I'm not sure what the problem is. When I tried to go into Game Options it said that I was in full screen mode and the mouse was acting as if I was as well. Every time I tried to change it or even go into Window Mode to see if that might help, the problem just got worse. I don't know if I'm explaining this very well, sorry. It's just frustrating because everything I've looked up and tried hasn't worked. I don't know if it's a problem with my game or possibly my laptop? It's just a MacBook Air 2020 and Sims is the only game I have on it. Nothing's wrong with the actual game play or save files, just the screen being the wrong size and the pointer... A screenshot of what I mean when I say it's all out of proportion. Usually when I play you can't see the dock or the top bar part at all. And I have to hover the mouse down before I'm able to click on the option I want...Can no longer edit roofs with my mouse
I have to admit I don't do/haven't done a ton of house editing but today I was trying to modify a roof on an existing house and noticed that my mouse was not working right at all. I would left click or right click on the edit arrows to stretch a roof longer or shorter and nothing was happening. it would not even act like it saw the arrows. Maybe the problem is with my mouse or I need to reprogram it (I have no idea how to do that if it needs being done) It is a Logitech mouse and it seems to work perfectly on every other program so that's why I suspect it is the Sims and not the mouse giving me migraines.Game Flickering
My Sims 4 game is flickering and I have tried all the solutions to fix it. My drivers are up to date, I have tried using the High Power and Power saving mode on the GPU, I have tried fullscreen, windowed, and fullscreen windowed mode and it still isn't fixed. I have tried changing settings and restarting my PC. I have tried using lower graphics settings and it is still flickering. It's not because of any mods because it will flicker when mods are disabled. Any idea how to get it to stop?
