Save files
I have been dealing with Claude and chat gbt to help me with my Sims game. Each time Sims did something wrong like they're uploads my mods got trashed this time since I knew things was happening because my game kept crashing and trying to figure out how to do a 50/50 over 10,000 mods that I accumulated and trying to get into my game. They both told me that I can do a Sim link with my SSD external hard drive and my UBS. That was a disaster. Delete it all of my mods when they had me do this did this thing called recover I probably am mispronouncing it but it's something that recovers all of your stuff. So they had a bright idea to tell me to just transfer my whole document drive into my D drive that was a **bleep** disaster so much so the game would not load still so again I had to redownload all of my mods again. And doing this transferring from D drive to C drive my saves which I desperately need will not load in the game. I restarted A New Path by uninstalling and reinstalling the game that created A New Path I made sure everything was clean in the save files no copies or duplicates. And put a life of me each time they say well do this go and run the game create a new folder A New Path and it works it's not the save files are just sitting there from the date that I started playing the game in March to now can somebody please help me to put the save files in the right place so the game can load I am literally checking everything. This is the only thing that's trying to keep me sane because I am not liking my life right about now. I'm in a very abusive situation that caused me to have neck surgery. I don't have employment. And the only thing I have right now is to help me escape reality is to play The Sims game why I'm recouping from this neck surgery that I got is there anybody out here that can help me I am so sorry if this is long and or if there's any grammar errors. I just recently started playing the sims again on the same account I’ve had for a long time and all of my packs are deleted and when I try to make a family and save the family the next time I come into the game everything is deleted. I updated the sims I repaired the app and I followed the instructions on how to fix it but it still doesn’t work. How do I fix the saving issue and how do I get my packs back? I spent so much money and they are all gone and require payment to download again.
Plan Custom Wedding Event (No available guests)
Playing on PC, Windows 11 (latest update), all drivers updated. Installed game language; English and it is set to AutoUpdate (so it is latest patch). I do use mods and CC but I have already tried without them. When sellecting Plan Custom Wedding Event the only guests that show up are the groom and bride. They know a lot of other Sims but they never show up. They did however show up when choosing to just Plan Wedding Event. But I want to do the one where I choose what activities to do during the event. Since I could not do this and I needed the Sims to be married for the Storyline I used the Plan Wedding Event. I have tried to repair the game, remove mods, new save, clear cache, restart game (several times) and restarted my PC. I looked arount the forum but cannot find any others with the same issue. Please help!
My SIMS4 is English only
My game changes language to English automatically with each update. Even worse, if I want to use another language, I have to uninstall and reinstall the game to get other language options! Otherwise, the dropdown page in my setting will be in English only (see the attachment). I've asked the staff 3 times and got the reply that because my first download was in the UK, my game was English only after that. It's so annoying, especially as I didn't get any language options when I first downloaded it, only English. And it doesn't make sense that by default if I buy a game in the UK I can only use English. Some of the things I've tried are: reinstalling EA, completely removing and reinstalling sims4, leaving UK and repeating the above. All of these ways only briefly change my language to some else until the next update. Once updated, my sims4 goes back to English again. I want to get the experience that all players get: switching languages smoothly in the setting rather than reinstalling the game every time. It's wasting a lot of my time! PLEASE let me know if you run into the same problem and find a way around it. It would be really help!
