Packet Loss every other ranked game only
I don't know why, but the past two seasons I only have packet loss while playing ranked and it happens every other game mostly. Everything on my internet is perfect, the only time I ever lag is playing ranked. I play on east coast servers, and it's rather annoying at this point considering every other game that I play online has zero issues except for this one. Fix your servers, I don't get why this company doesn't care about it's player base anymore.
Game freezes and will only unfreeze if its Windowed, or alt-tabbed
I just built this PC about two months ago, and its been performing perfectly fine until now. I opened the game up today, and it would work fine for 2-3 seconds before completely freezing. I found out that when I pressed my Windows key and sort of "alt-tabbed" the game (by having it in the background of that little Window's menu), that it would unfreeze and work smoothly. Going to tab back in would cause it to freeze again, though, so I would try to fiddle with settings by pressing my Window's key and then quickly clicking on stuff in that 2-3 second time-frame before the next freeze. I was able to get into a Firing Range match that way, and I got a bunch of the lag symbols on the side; latency, congestion, and prediction error. Tried searching online for similar issues, and skimmed the forums for anyone else having these problems recently to no avail. Already reset my modem/router. Switching to DNS and trying an address that an EA forum employee recommended to another user a few years ago didn't work. There aren't any driver updates recommended for my device. I don't know what else I can try doing because again, this is a very new PC and my first one too, so I am very lost. Thank you in advance...
Lag SA Servers
It's known for us that you guys don't give a **bleep** about us here in SA — no portuguese voice package (even Apex Mobile had the balls and made the investment), no fixing queue, no regional prices (R$100 for a **bleep** skin), etc and etc. But c'mon now. Ranked is unplayable. We're either getting high ping servers or simply joining NA servers (200ms average). The bad state of your game here is the reflex of your mismanagement, Respawn. You are losing players here because of how stupid and idiotic your management here is. Fix the queue. Fix your servers.Game Performance & Network Issues when plugged in the charger (laptop)
Hi EA Support Team, I am experiencing a very specific and frustrating issue with Apex Legends on PC (Steam). The game suffers from heavy lag and constant red connection icons (latency, packet loss, and congestion) ONLY when my laptop charger (AC Adapter) is plugged in. When I play on battery power, the connection is stable, but as soon as I connect the charger, the game becomes unplayable. My System Specifications: Model: Lenovo LOQ GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 CPU: Intel Core i7 RAM: 32GB OS: Windows 11 Troubleshooting steps I have already taken: Performed a Microsoft Defender Offline Scan and a full malware scan (The system is 100% clean). Tried different Launch Options: -dx11, -dx12, -high, and -preload. Tested different Windows Power Modes (Balanced vs. Best Performance). Verified game files on Steam. Monitored Task Manager: No suspicious background processes or unusual CPU/Network usage were found. This issue seems unique to Apex Legends, as other games and applications work fine while charging. It feels like a conflict between the laptop's high-performance power state and the game's engine or Anti-Cheat. Packet Loss When Playing With Friends
Hi, I was wondering if there was a fix to the packer loss issue? I have never had it in apex until last season. My internet is fine, but when I try to play rankes trios with friends after a game I start to get packet loss. It happens to me and my other friend, but not our third. We all live in the same area so it is weird why it only happens to two of us. Thanks!
Twin Razors Melee one Animation stutter / hitch Issue
There seem like a visual bug with the new Season 29 melee cosmetic, Twin Razors, in Apex Legends. During one of the animations when switching to / pulling out the Twin Razors, there is a very noticeable stutter or hitch. It feels like a sudden frame drop, but the in-game FPS counter does not show any obvious fluctuation, so it may be an animation or rendering issue rather than an actual performance problem. For reference, my PC specs are: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 3080, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 240Hz monitor. The game otherwise runs smoothly, and the issue only appears during this specific Twin Razors animation. The issue is very noticeable in-game, and I have also seen several other players on video platforms showing or mentioning the same problem. I attached a short video clip to show the specific animation/action where this happens. The issue may not look very obvious in the recording, but the clip should make it clear which animation is affected. Since it is a very expensive melee cosmetic, I hope the team can look into this and fix it in a future update. It is a small bug, but it is quite noticeable during normal gameplay. Thanks.
