APEX Connection & In game freezing issues EA are ignoring
I've read through many posts where players are complaining about the same or similar issues and EA don't seem to be addressing any of them - it's left up to the community to formulate responses and offer possible solutions. Poor form from EA imo. I'll post this with an attached video as I haven't seen anyone else with this exact issue albeit the error messages can be the same. Aside from the obvious "Unable to connect to EA Servers (Code: Anti-cheat authentication timeout)" and "ERROR - Connection to server timed out (code:net) ", my issue begins with normal game play, when suddenly I experience severe latency and packet loss (typically mid fight). within a couple seconds I get both error icons for latency and packet loss appear in the top right. Gameplay freezes yet I'm able to move the character view but with no inputs (can't fire/jump etc). Sound is sometimes stuck in a loop at this point too (ie if I was running, the running sound loops). After about 10-15s, I'm kicked to the error screen - once I click continue I'm back at the what looks like the initial load screen but with the "This profile is not permitted....." message at the bottom . I click Retry (sometimes only once, but have had it where I have to repeatedly click retry) and I'm back in the game most times. Sometimes I get kicked to the lobby and the game is done!! From initial freeze to back in game can be up to a minute - I've stopped playing ranked as this has caused much drama and profanity. I get these dropouts daily and it can occur as frequently as every 30 minutes I've tried every mentioned solution from complete reinstall, verification of files, DNS settings, adapter settings etc. I've done the UOTrace and have noticed the ssx.gos.ea.com ping time is quite high (212ms-225ms). Not sure what else I can use to track the packet loss/latency issue - open to ideas I'm on a recently upgraded fiber connection and my speed has increased x10 so why should I be experiencing latency issues. I've logged a complaint with my ISP but they can't seem to find anything wrong. PS, others in the house play other games like Battlefield, COD (PC) & Ghost of Tsushima (PS5) and have not mentioned any issues
The connection to the server timed out (code:net).
I'm Japanese, so I'll use a translator. Recently when I play Apex, I get the message "Connection to server timed out (code:net)." and the app crashes about once every 10 minutes. I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me if you've done anything to fix this. I'm playing on a PlayStation 5 using a wired internet connection. Thank you very much :1
First 5 minutes of the match super laggy
I am having this issue where it's incredibly laggy for the first few minutes of the game. it's completely unplayable It rarely goes on past the first few minutes but its pretty much ever single game. Has Respawn talked about this at all? it's been very common.bug
I was concerned about the poor image quality and stuttering when playing Apex, so I checked the file integrity on Steam and found that 10 files were missing. Redownloading it fixed the problem, but it's likely that the problem will recur and I need to clear my PC's cache or unnecessary storage space. Since I'm an amateur at this, I'd like to have an expert or EA check the cause. Restarting my PC, clearing the Steam cache, downloading from a different region, and reinstalling Apex didn't fix the problem. Hello Everyone, How are you? I hope I find someone who knows anything about this issue that I've been facing for past 2 years now, Since I stopped playing apex regularly. I live in Ct and my closest server is New york, I have zero idea what changed, but I stopped getting connected to new york server, which increased my ping from 20-25 to straight in 60s now, I tried to look for a solution back then but was in vain, so I stopped playing. But I want to get back into it and concerned that I am going to get into same issue again. Now that they don't allow to get connected to certain servers instead Regions, it will be worse for me. I did play a few games, but i am still getting 60-70 ping and it leaves me at disadvantage. So, if anybody knows anything about this or has faced similar issue and found a solution to it, please help me out. Thanks, and Happy holidays.
Huge fps drops
So I wasnt playing apex for like a year and before everything was smooth, im playing on lowest graphs because i like it that way and i was getting consistent 180 frames, but yesterday i downloaded it again and despite still getting the same 180 frames on same settings sometimes like 7-9 times per game my fps drops to like 10-18 and stays that way for a good couple of seconds very laggy, thats never happened to me, I've tried downloading DDU and reinstalling my drivers and changing settings and it didnt work for me. Im on 32gb ram ryzen 7 5800x and gtx 1070, could someone please help me figure it out so i can play the game please?
