Apex high ping Asia servers
It’s been up and down over the past few months but for the last 4/5 days Apex has been unplayable due to high ping and latency. On the server screen it will claim the ping is low (around 15ms) but when I go past the start screen to the mode select screen it’s closer to 250/300+!! My internet is over 150mbps download on a wired connection and no other games have these lag issues. Other servers are even worse. Anyone else having these issues?
Gradually FPS Drops
Hi guys, i have my fps getting dropped gradually match to match, it wasn't like this before First game i get 170+ fps Then 90, Then 70, Then 45 My pc specs: RTX 4070 Ryzen 7700X 32 GB Ram Game is on SSD Whenever i restart the game it fixes itself for first match, then happens again. Game runs on nvidia, tried lots of things such as setting resolution much low (i was playing on 2560x1440p) Tried to lower graphics, checked my pc settings
Strange Stutter/Lag Issue
SOLVED iCue seems to have been the culprit. Oddly, the uninstall was bugged for it, and it didn't show up in revo's uninstall list either, so I used revo uninstaller's "Hunter mode", opened the icue window and dragged the little crosshair over icue. It then allowed me to delete EVERYTHING related to icue, which indeed fixed the weird lag. I then reinstalled icue and Apex continues to function properly. ==================== Four days ago I encountered an issue where suddenly in a match of wildcard, I was stuttering and lagging as if I was having massive packet loss/connection issues. But the connection seemed fine according to in game connectivity display. Alt+F4'd restarted the game, loaded in, still happening. Restarted PC, Still happening. Verified files, still happening. Switched servers, still. Reduced mouse polling to 500hz, no change. I then Uninstalled and reinstalled the game and updated my graphics drivers, which fixed it for about a day and a half. Two nights ago I played 4 or 5 rounds, took a break for an hour and when I came back I was experiencing the same issue again. It persists still this morning after another uninstall and reinstall. As the video shows, when mouse input happens I get this weird stutter and lag. Keyboard inputs seem to persist after lifting the key. Makes the game completely unplayable. PC Specs: 9700x3D, RTX4090, 32GB RAM 2x2TB NVME SSD. Corsair m&k. Thank you for your assistance.
Ping and packet loss spikes on AP-Southeast and AP-East servers only.
Since the recent update, I’ve been experiencing consistent ping spikes and packet loss on the AP-Southeast and AP-East servers at regular intervals. At first, I thought it was an issue with my internet, but after thorough testing, I found that it only happens in Apex. Other online games run fine. Interestingly, when I switched to EU-Central, the gameplay was smooth—despite the high ping due to distance, hit registration felt accurate and responsive. In contrast, the Asian servers feel laggy and stuttery, and it’s hard to tell when shots land or when you're being hit. This makes the game nearly unplayable in my region. Please fix the server issues in Asia. Many players are affected, and it's frustrating to deal with such poor performance. Without improvements, I may stop playing again—possibly for good.
amazon servers are rubbish
ever since the release of these servers my ping has been nothing but HIGH. i used to play on london servers which was around 20 ping but now i need to play on EU central which shows 40 ping but in game it sky rockets to 100 ping every time i go into a fight and my game freezes. amazon servers are supposed to make my game "smoother" and "better performance" but clearly it has done the opposite. these amazon servers are crap.
Missing 20 bomb badge
Yesterday when I was playing, the game froze and lagged out when I got a 20 bomb on wattson. When I did eventually make it back to the lobby, it didn't save the game progress of the previous game. It showed when I was in a ranked match instead. I already had the 4k badge, so that wasn’t an issue, but when I did check the 4k badge, it didn’t have my overall damage from the previous game either. Is there any way that I can get help on getting the 20 kill badge for wattson on my account?
