Apex Legends crashing my network adaptor

Let me start with my situation. I very recently, yesterday, just got my new pc setup, everything runs perfectly, until it runs Apex. Everything is normal with any other online games im running, but when I launch Apex and load into the lobby, things will freeze up in around 30-40 seconds and dissconnects my wifi entirely. I found out that Apex is crashing my network adaptor whenever I load into the main lobby of the game, and it will not properly reset until I fully quit the game all together. I am 100% certin that this is a issue with Apex becuase every other game works just fine, I also run other games with easy anti cheat and thoes games work fine too.

Ive tried many thing in atempt to fix this:

  1. uninstalling and reinstalling the game(steam) - did not work
  2. repairing the game(steam) - did not work
  3. changing to a different platform(EA app) - did not work
  4. repairing the game again (EA app) - did not work
  5. trounbleshoot net work adapter - did not work
  6. updating net work adapter folder - did not work
  7. uninstalling and reinstalling network adapter - did not work
  8. network reset - did not work
  9. changing the power management setting on network adapter - did not work

I've played apex since season 3, the game just gets worse and worse. After quitting apex for a while and taking a year off from gaming all together I just want revisit the game I loved so much before, and I am again disspointed the game. If anyone has run into similar issues and have fixed it, please please get back to me for I have searched every possible fix and related topics and nothing has worked.

I'm running into the exact same issue. I find that Apex whenever I connect to a game lobby causes my 10 gig ethernet card to become disabled. I'm unable to re-enable it without rebooting. I've tried reinstalling Windows 11. I've tried updating my drivers for my nic and reinstall allowing Apex a few times. So far this is the only case where I can find loading a game causing my network card to become disabled. I load other multiplayer games fine. This happened recently to me. Maybe about a month ago. I noticed I couldn't load and I just now got around to fully trying a bunch of stuff.

i inspected the syslog and filtered for my network card (Mellanox ConnectX-3) found that i the card would not respond to a driver request

    Message: Native_5_0_0: Post FW command failed. op 0xc / 0x66 / 0x24

    and then

    this one disabled the NIC
i replaced my ConnectX-3 with a intel x710 card and now it runs fine. It is strange that other games that used online components worked OK and the Internet and Youtube worked fine

  • I'm also having this same issue with apex killing my network card around a minute after launch. I have the Mellanox ConnectX-3 Ethernet Adapter. I've tried updating the drivers for it, though that had no effect. The port in my motherboard lucky works, but it would be very nice for this to be fixed.
