PSA: Mouse Input is broken in this game (looks similar to bad frame timing)
Mouse input is broken, which ruins an otherwise well optimised game. This looks to be getting confused with poor frame timing in a lot of threads, but controller input is unaffected. For reference, I easily average over 100fps even on the bigger maps, but panning the camera with mouse input makes the game feel like it's running at 15fps despite no drops. In-game reporting confirms it's running perfectly, as CPU/GPU are always rendering within 10fps of eachother. Connect a controller though? Buttery smooth camera panning, and easy to track enemies. No hitches or stutters, just butter. I've tried: - All polling rates, from 125hz up to 4000hz - Toggling raw input on/off - Enabling/disabling Nvidia reflex - Changing USB ports, changing to different mice, wired/wireless - USB power saving etc all turned off - I even tried a driver/Nvidia CP restore, but as controller is super smooth, this was a long shot in the first place Unfortunately the game is unplayable using a mouse on PC due to this. It's next to impossible to track targets, and you quickly get a headache from the micro stuttering when panning. The effect is very similar to Helldivers 2 on PC, when you turn off 'Mouse Smoothing', as that game has serious issues with raw mouse input. Happy to hear suggestions on how to fix this. Mice tried: - Keychron M4 - Logitech G305 - Logitech G604 - Razer Naga Hyperspeed - AttackShark M1 I've also tried on an entirely different PC, same results. OLED as always exhacerbates the issue too, due to the awesome pixel response times. I fear many won't see it due to slower LCDs. Specs are: 5700x3d 3060ti 8GB 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16 AW3423DW (Gsync module version) This is on a fresh Windows install, up to date drivers (tried DDU as well to be sure), but honestly since it's running beautifully with a controller, this looks to be purely a mouse input issue. No other games exhibit this issue other than... Helldivers 2, and Battlefield V. BF1 is butter on mouse, as are BF3 and BF4. Helldivers 2 can be fixed by turning on mouse smoothing in game. I almost bought a GPU upgrade before testing the Xbox controller, saved myself £600.3.8KViews43likes129CommentsBattlefield 6 Heli Rubberbanding/Desync
have had this bug since the Beta... I am at a loss. This happens in any vehicle once I hit a certain speed but the helis are the worst. I have: adjusted every single setting, Uninstalled/reinstalled the game, verified/validated files, gone into bios and adjusted Dram Frequency, and anything else I could find online..... I am at a loss. Please someone help me. For Reference I have a 3080 Turbo and Ryzen 7 3700X. I also have 64 gb of DDR4 Ram Link to YT Video for Reference: https://youtu.be/SI5EkPr6U5c11Views0likes0Comments[Various issues] Grass looks weird with DLSS
The grass looks blurry/flickers whenever I turn DLSS on no matter the setting (Quality or Balanced). Please see the screenshot attached (it's more noticeable in motion but all I can upload is a photo). Also please see the other screenshots for two other bugs. At one point my knife as sideways after sliding and in the other, my camera was stuck where I died and it only got fixed after I redeployed. On top of that the performance has gotten worse since the beta, the beta used to run very well (I had constant 60-100 fps with everything on low except for textures on high and ambient occlusion on low) but now the game drops to 40 fps at times.5Views0likes0CommentsTried every combination — mouse input broken in BF6
Tried every single combination of settings V-SyncG SyncFPS cap, Frame Generation, Higher FPS, Lower resolution, Borderless, Fullscreen, NVIDIA driver 577.00, In-game overlays on/off Even with 170–190 FPS (or 240 FPS with Frame Gen), the mouse input feels extremely choppy and delayed. Compared it to another major FPS title released recently (same hardware, ~170 FPS) — that one feels WAY more crisp and direct. Back in the Beta, I didn’t have this issue — the aim felt very direct and responsive. Now, even though FPS are still fine, mouse input feels way off and inconsistent. For reference: Steam version, RTX 4070 Super, i7-10700K, 32 GB RAM @ 3600 MHz, 240 Hz monitor, 1000 Hz polling rate mouse Thanks to the EA dev team for looking into this — any help or clarification would be much appreciated!Frame Generation is randomly turning itself on
Even with the frame generation settings off, randomly I'll see the Steam Overlay FPS counter report that frame gen gets turned on for a second, and then turns itself back off. For example if the framerate counter says I'm getting "120 FPS" sometimes it'll suddenly say "120 FG" for just a second or two. This is causing added input lag/delay and other visual issues that come from using frame gen for myself and others. Based on other people on the Steam Forum testing if deleting the relevant dll files would forcibly disable it, it seems to be the Intel version of frame gen that's getting turned on randomly, since that's the one dll file that can't be disabled without the game crashing. You can read more from all the other people who are experiencing this issue in these two Steam threads: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2807960/discussions/0/591784592221174993/ https://steamcommunity.com/app/2807960/discussions/0/591784592221165054/76Views6likes7CommentsThe Game Keeps crashing on PC

I’ve been experiencing constant packet loss and latency issues mainly when playing the large scale battle maps/game modes but when switching to the smaller scale maps the issue is gone completely. It’s like playing the game in slow motion basically when I just try to deal with it on the bigger maps/modes. I’m running the game on a gaming laptop with a 13th gen i7, rtx 4070 and 16 GB RAM. When the packet loss/latency issues aren’t happening (rarely) I’m running the game smoothly with around 100+ fps and my connection is completely fine (tested other games and conducted internet speed tests). I've posted about this on Reddit and have found that many others are experiencing this issue as well even with better PC set ups also. Hopefully this gets fixed, pretty bummed out that I can’t experience the craziness of the large scale battles BF is known for.451Views17likes9Comments
