Constant lags despite high end PC.
Hello, I am a fan since the beginnig of this franchise, but we had a load of performance issues with the sims 4 that were resolved last year. Now after news EP installed I can say its back. The lags I am experiencing is constant, every couple seconds, there is a big lag, considering I have a high end pc, it should not happen... I would say it started to happen or I guess I noticed it more after Businesses and Hobbies... I play on an old save but thats very annoying when you paid for a good pc and cant even play without lags, bugs fine, this happen, but performance issues are really annoying. When I move the camera around in the world, it is very easy to see the lags. Its not the same issue, or at least I dont its the same as sims freezing or not responding, more like the game itself does not run well. It might be separate again, but I wanted to modify some of the premade in the Enchanted Nature EP and I did modify few things, entering CAS through another family with testing cheats on and Cas.fulleditmode on... I did the modification I wanted and then I decided to cancel and my game crashed. Please sims team consider performance a big issue, as it was amazing the changes made last year and the game was smooth as hell. Thank you
Cheat Bar
Whenever I open up the cheat bar no matter what I do it won’t close again it just gets stuck there. I tried restarting the game, going to manage worlds, going to main menu, EVERYTHING. Nothing is working i don’t know what to do and it’s so annoying. Ever since this latest update it’s been doing this.
"Plan Outfit" and "Change Sim" both bugged. (PC)
I can play for hours with no issues, but then if I go to Plan Outfit or Change Sim via a mirror, it goes the blue loading screen with the spinning plumbob and it will just stay spinning there for (at last count) over 20 minutes. At that point, I just force shut the game down. I do have mods, but I disabled them and had the same issue. This has only been happening for about 2-3 weeks now.
black screen and atrocious lag. please help!
Okay so I played sims all day yesterday and my game was working completely fine. Today I open my laptop to play and the game has completely reset my graphics and UI settings. weird. So, I change them back to what I usually use best as I can remember and I go to load my current save file. The game takes like 5 minutes to load but that’s normal for me. However when it finally does load the game screen is totally black, the UI however is fine, but there is an atrocious lag. So, I quit the game and went to repair, didn’t help. I tried traveling with my sim to a new lot and the lot wasn’t black but the lag continues to make the game unplayable. Can anyone help?
Freezes and stuttering
Hello, I bought a new PC to play FC 25, and when I play, regardless of the quality or resolution, I experience freezes and the game isn't smooth. I should run it at a higher speed; I don't understand why this problem occurs. My setup: Nvidia 5080 mobile Intel Core Ultra 9 32GB DDR5 The game is installed on an MSI 7400 MB/s SSD 3200 MB/s SSD for Windows HDR 16:10 2560*1440 monitor Windows 11 Family x64 24H2 Here's what I've already tried: - Change the resolution - Disable HDR - Change the mode to windowed/fullscreen/borderless fullscreen - Change the refresh rate - Limit the frames per second and disable/enable vertical sync - Change all in-game settings - Update the graphics drivers - Uninstall/Reinstall/Repair - Disable/Enable Windows Game Mode - Enable/Disable Vsync and Gsync I was playing without stuttering or freezing on a PC with a 3070 mobile, I don't understand why I'm having them on this one. Thanks for your help.
Inventory
Ever since the new update, every time I try to check my inventory, the game freezes, none of the options show up, and the menu won't appear. Making me restart my laptop to get out of the game. I tried to reinstall the game on both the EA app and Steam, and I'm still having the same issues.Sims continue canceling actions (Routing Failure)
No matter what I do, painting, bathing the babies, simply bringing them over to bathe, picking them up, walking inside a house, they cancel it or complain that they can’t walk there when they absolutely can. I have to manually click on different areas of the floor and make them walk into a house or go up the stairs or else they complain that they can’t get there. I've been having issues with the sims for months I have no idea what I've been doing wrong. I assumed it had something to do the with CC and mods, but I tried removing them and launching the game and I'm still having the same issues. I have had this constant this lag where I it takes longer to do certain task, and the Highschool years pack is not working properly the day runs t longer and task gets harder to complete. Other Sims won't do anything else but stand around and do nothing else. I assumed that it was probably due to my internet connections, but it's not that. Also, not really an big issue but the main screen wallpaper does not change when new packs dropped. Please Help
