Multiple Technical Issues (The Sims 4)

  I've been having issues with the sims for months I have no idea what I've been doing wrong. I assumed it had something to do the with CC and mods, but I tried removing them and launching the game and I'm still having the same issues. I have had this constant this lag where I it takes longer to do certain task, and the Highschool years pack is not working properly the day runs t longer and task gets harder to complete. Other Sims won't do anything else but stand around and do nothing else. I assumed that it was probably due to my internet connections, but it's not that. Also, not really an big issue but the main screen wallpaper does not change when new packs dropped.

 Please Help

    Tlove202​  Please test a new save, for comparison's sake.  I'm not saying you need to abandon your old save, only that how a new save runs is useful information.

    If the new save works fine, please move your main sims in your main save to a different lot, either a blank one or something EA-made, not a build from the Gallery or your own library.  You don't need to save your progress; this is also just for testing.

    Please provide a dxdiag as well, for reference.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
