Information for developers (anti-cheat)
We ask developers who deal with anti-cheat to tell people that the Riva Tuner Statistic Server software is cheating software. That's why, I don't understand. Because the cheating software on my PC has never been and will never be. As far as I understand it, the developers don't care about the cries of the souls of those players who did not deserve to ban. Draw conclusions, gentlemen players. I ask all concerned players to like this post so that the developers open their eyes wider. Thanks in advance to all those who liked this post or did you also suffer from an unfair ban just like that or did you also suffer from an unfair ban just like that or did you also suffer from an unfair ban just like that. It is not clear how to contact the developers about challenging the ban. There is no information anywhere, and the tools provided in the personal account on the EA website do not work.Someone made an account under the email I'm using for said account?
So I got an email saying someone had made, and verified, this account using my current email address, naturally I made sure to change the password to this account and all its information, but... I don't understand the motive? Were they waiting for me to log in so they could get my details on the off chance I didn't change the password? To be clear, I did not make this account, it was made using my email and I'm just trying to stay logged in till I know what's going on. I'm not sure what to do about it, are there any other security measures I should be taking here? It's not like they had access to my payment methods or anything, I'm really baffled and concerned. I also changed the password for my email of course, it did scare me that they managed to verify the account somehow, but there's no new logins detected on gmail so I have no idea what's going on. Also if it matters, the email address I received all this info from was mailto:EA@e.ea.com, I wasn't sure if it was legit so I made sure to only log into the website itself, wasn't gonna risk falling for a phishing scam. So yeah, any advice? Should I be worried, should I be doing something else? I appreciate any and all help.3.1KViews8likes33CommentsEA, Stop Ignoring Us: Xbox and PSN Accounts Stuck on Unrecoverable EA Profiles
This is a collective appeal on behalf of the many users who have, over the years, experienced the same recurring issue – and still have no solution. The problem is simple but severe: Players lose access to their EA account, and as a result, they are unable to unlink it from their Xbox or PS profile. Without EA's help, they are permanently locked out of using EA services on Xbox/PS. And EA Support has failed to provide effective assistance. We are not talking about isolated incidents. This is a widespread and years-old problem, affecting hundreds (if not thousands) of players. It continues to appear regularly in EA Forums, Reddit, Microsoft and Playstation support threads, and gaming communities. It’s time to acknowledge that this is not a user mistake – this is a systemic failure in account management and support policy. The Problem Xbox and Playstation profiles often become automatically linked to old EA accounts – sometimes accounts that are no longer accessible, deleted, or tied to an email that no longer exists. Players cannot unlink the Xbox/PS profile from the EA account unless they verify the original EA account. If the user has no access to the email or recovery methods (due to age, lost credentials, or deactivated accounts), EA support refuses to help. Microsoft/Sony confirms they cannot unlink EA accounts on their end. EA's stance is rigid: “No verification, no unlinking.” Even if the account is clearly inactive or the user is verified through Xbox/PS->Origin credentials. Support tickets are often closed without action. Chats end with no resolution. Users are passed between departments, but nothing changes. Recent Example (May 2025) Just yesterday, I posted the following here on EA’s forums, and it summarizes the problem: “I can't unlink my Xbox account from an old EA account that I don't have access to anymore. EA Support told me there’s nothing they can do. I just want to play EA games again, but I’m locked out of all online services because my Xbox is linked to a ghost account.” Full Post Here This is not a one-off. It is one of many. What Players Are Asking For We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for a realistic, user-focused solution to a well-known issue. Specifically: A process for unlinking Xbox or Playstation accounts when the original EA account cannot be recovered. This could involve verifying identity via Xbox Live/PSN data, Xbox/PS account ownership, or linking proof. Better support escalation paths. Not just canned responses and auto-closed tickets. Real human review for unresolved account access cases. Transparency on what can and cannot be done. Many users are told “there’s nothing we can do” – while others manage to get unlinking done after dozens of failed attempts. The policy is inconsistent. The Bigger Picture Many affected users have: Lost access to EA Play/Game Pass benefits despite paying for them. Abandoned EA games completely because the account issues make playing impossible. Created entirely new Xbox/PSN accounts, losing years of progress and purchases. Spent hours or days dealing with EA support without a single result. We are asking EA to take responsibility and implement system-level fixes. This is a trust issue. Players who lose access to their EA account should not be cut off from Xbox/PS games they legally own or subscribe to. Supporting Evidence: Community Reports Date Source & Link Summary May 16, 2025 EA Forum User unable to unlink Xbox from old EA account; EA Support states "nothing we can do". April 2025 Microsoft Community Xbox Gamertag linked to an old/unknown EA account; EA will not unlink it, stating the account is deleted. April 2022 Microsoft Community EA refuses to unlink Xbox from deleted EA account; GDPR request ignored. February 2021 Reddit - r/Xbox EA demands code sent to inactive email; user locked out despite valid Xbox account. Early 2021 Microsoft Community User unable to unlink EA account; Microsoft confirms EA is sole authority. November 2018 Overclockers UK Forum Player locked to 10-year-old EA account; EA support unhelpful after multiple attempts. And many more... Final Call EA, this is a growing trust and accessibility issue. Gamers should not be permanently blocked from their Xbox/Playstation content because of a policy that assumes email access is forever. Technology evolves. People change accounts. But support systems must evolve with that. We urge you to: Recognize this as a longstanding issue. Commit to a workable solution for affected users. Respond to the community with clarity and action. This isn’t just about one player. This is about hundreds of us, waiting for a fair resolution. EA - in the name of all gamers - please fix this! I can get into an old EA account from 2007 that was linked to my PSN account. I no longer have access to the email address for that account (its an old university email that deletes you after you graduate). I can get logged into the account by using the psn link login. I've been trying to get EA via chat to help, but that seems like nobody on the customer service side to help. I can't add a secondary email or phone number to the account via the website. How do I get EA to change the email associated with my old account to an email I can actually use?13Views0likes0CommentsCannot link account to Xbox
I'm having a weird issue with all EA games. I have been trying to login to play the Battlefield 6 beta. When the game loads, I am immediately met with a notification stating that I must reset my password due to my credentials being expired. I reset my password, restart the game, and I am still met with the same message. It doesnt even allow me to access the menu of the game or give me an option to login. When I try to link my EA account to my Xbox account, I am met with a message stating "Your accounts can't be linked because your Xbox account CakeLoaf already linked to your EA account for 49*****@disabled.ea.com. An EA account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime". I have never linked my Xbox account. I am able to login on PC and mobile but not on Xbox so I am unable to play any EA games. I have reached out to support and after waiting 3 hours, I got a message stating "do you still need help? Visit our FAQ page" and then they closed my case. I just want to login and play. I have had this account since 2009. Anyone know how to fix this? I have checked my "bans and appeals" and my history is absolutely clean. No bans or anything.Solved42Views0likes5CommentsStruggling to Unlink Xbox Account from EA – EA Support Is Unhelpful
Hi all, I’m currently facing a frustrating issue with EA and I’m hoping someone here has a solution, or at least shares the same experience. My Xbox account is linked to an EA account that I haven’t used in nearly 10 years. Now, I’m trying to unlink the two, but the process has been a nightmare. EA sends an access verification email to my old email address (which is no longer active), and I’m completely locked out. I reached out to EA Support twice and, honestly, I’ve never experienced such poor service. They are asking for all sorts of personal information to verify my account, but here’s the issue: IP address: Of course, it doesn’t match anymore. I’ve moved twice in the past 10 years and changed PC's, Modems, etc.., so the IP address will have changed. Credit card number: I never had a credit card registered with EA, so this is completely useless. Birthdate: I didn’t enter my birthdate on my EA account, because it wasn’t required back then. Address: Again, I never provided my address to EA. So essentially, EA is asking for information that they never collected in the first place, only to turn around and say “We don’t have that information.” It’s ridiculous. Instead of just unlinking my account, I’m locked out and can no longer play EA games on my Xbox. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m at my wit’s end with this situation.76Views1like4Comments
