Houses/Lots Disappear
Issue The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots. This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. There more info you have, the better. Information to provide Your platform Mod usage (Never, Removed, Yes) This is important info, not mod blaming. Before and after save games. Symptoms When you load into the house, the house disappears and when you try to leave ,you get endless loading You get endless loading in all houses in one neighborhood When the houses start to disappear, the whole world is covered in orange/green exclamation marks Some lots are replaced by llama pictures of the map (possibly also incomplete installation - repair your game first)[COLLECTION] Issues with Thumbnails/Icons

Problem The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots or Error Codes 800/801. The problem usually starts in Willow Creek and then goes on to other words Where to post It seems that in order to better track the causes for this issue, separate threads are needed. If you’re buildings are disappearing, you have exclamation marks or lamas on the map or the houses are different on the map and in the game (even after loading into the lot), please use this thread: Houses/Lots Disappear Troubleshooting The issue is really hard to pinpoint but there are a few things that can accelerated the issue. This issue is not mod caused but it can be influenced by mods and cheats, especially if you create lots of Residential Rental units in your save game. Save Game Size. The issue usually typically happens on larger save games. There are a few factors that contribute to save game size that you can keep an eye on Lots of huge houses with lots of objects: Try to keep those down. Consider using empty houses for set decoration if you don't play certain lots but want houses to make it look nicer Photos Sims take ingame. Try to only keep the photos you really like and that contribute to your gameplay. Delete everything else. Photos take up a lot of space in the save. Lots of Sims. The game creates Sims at abundance. Major bugs - anyone else?
I have been experiencing the following bugs which are affecting my gameplay: Snow and rain showing in buildings. This is super annoying so I’ve had to turn it off in the settings which begs the question: what am I paying for? Rapid romantic relationship decay. The bar seems to randomly drain down all the way to red then back to neutral at zero. Then whenever my sims do romantic interactions it barely does anything to get the bar back up. Unable to pay bills. When I select the “Pay bills” interaction on either my sim’s phone or mailbox nothing happens. The animation fails and they’ll often be in a t-pose. What is going on EA? These bugs aren’t minor, they’re borderline game breaking. I’ve only noticed these issues after the latest update. In terms of CC I only have a very small amount (clothes and hair) with no script mods. My game and Mac (M1 Chip 2020) are completely up to date.

Yes Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. This only started happening after the latest update When I load onto other lots outside of my household the screen glitches different colors and weird streaks.
