SIMS 4 Constantly Crashing!
Hey y'all...I don't know if this has been an issue previously (I haven't played the game for over 6 months bc life has it's foot on my neck) but every time I get into the game, I get a good 10 minutes, if I'm lucky, and then it crashes. Today alone, it has happened 4x's. I don't have mods, I've repaired the game multiple times, I've deleted the thumbnail cache, and I've even checked to make sure my laptop is updated. But still no luck. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to fix it? This is driving me absolutely up a wall!
Upgrade parts/ingredients not recognized to upgrade/create something
Whenever I try to upgrade something, or create something (something from the fabrication station, candle station, robotic station, etc), it says I don't have the parts that are needed, even though they are in my sim's inventory. This only happens when I purchase the items, which is how I get most of my upgrade parts and all of my dyes. If my sim obtains the parts through actions like tinkering at the robotics station or receiving a part from repairing an object, then the game recognises that the sim has the part in their inventory. Houses/Lots Disappear
Issue The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots. This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. [AA] Plumbird Expert never shows up at Round the Fire Festival
I can't finish the Plumbird quests because the Plumbird Expert never shows up at the Round the Fire festival. I've been to at least 6 festivals with my Sim and tried asking every possible Sim about the Plumbird, but none are the Plumbird Expert so it doesn't complete the quest. Can't figure out how to get past this or how to get it to reset who should show up at the festival. Edit By crinrict: Added pack tag to title.
Infants not falling asleep in crib (try go night night)
Since the new update, I've checked in with all of my sim homes with infants (3) and all of them who were in bed, sleeping, were found sitting up, awake. This happens all the time with the toddler sims, but as soon as you unpause the game, the toddlers lie back down and fall asleep immediately. However, I had to tell the infants to 'try to go night night.' Also, I purchased the new infant play mat for all 3 households and now the infants will not fall asleep in their cribs when they're put down - fed with clean diapers, energy down to about half, etc., all ready for bed. I'm having to tell them to 'try to go night night' even though the 'action' says they are trying. I get a warning about putting the infant down for a nap, but they have been, they're just not falling asleep like they used to. They do usually have a cry, and the parent soothes them, but this is different. They are in 'happy' mode and are just not falling asleep. Since the most recent update, my Sims 4 is now unplayable. I have done all the things suggested; I have adjusted my gameplay settings and repaired the game countless times. But the significant lag makes this game unplayable nearly immediately...not even after one hour like some others are reporting. I am having the most issues with Sims interacting with other Sims but it seems to have gotten to the point where anything I try to have them do leads to such a delay that I end up exiting out of the game. Very frustrating!Disappearing Game Packs
So a little over a week ago, I noticed that none of my game, expansion or stuff packs were loading onto my games. I though "that's weird" so I went to go see which packs it said I had it, and it said that every single one of my packs that a bought, I didn't own anymore. I've tried everything but it doesn't seem to work, and I've even emailed the EA people but they didn't respond. So with all of that, I'm coming here to see if anyone knows how I can get my packs back. Do not hesitate to ask me any questions and thank you so much.
