Game Not Opening
I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue but ever since the recent update, my game hasn’t been opening with my mods. No error pop up or anything. It’ll only open when I remove a specific folder of mods (this folder has over 100 furniture mods in it). I uninstalled and reinstalled it, I’ve factory reset it, I’ve repaired it, I’ve cleared my cache multiple times, I’ve made sure all my mods are updated and I’ve done the 50/50 method. I can’t seem to pinpoint which mod is corrupt. When doing the 50/50 method within that specific folder I keep running into the same problem. When I’m halfway through my mods(removing a few in the process) the game stops launching, even when it was launching previously with those same mods. Does anyone know what might be the problem?
Cant place/Delete items in Build mode
After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top like the eyedropper then going back to the select tool it will let me place another item, but only one. Then click on the eyedropper again and back to the select tool, for each item I need to move or place. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted title to better reflect the issue
[S] Sims dying from overheating in chilly weather
I’ve purchased the Life and Death pack, started to play with one of my sims and all of a sudden, while she was in Ravenwood nightclub, she died from overheating. That was strange because the temperature in that world is always chilly. But she’s a witch and I thought it was because she had used to much powers, so I didn’t bother too much. But yesterday I transferred her sister in the household to play with her as well. She’s only human btw. They were at a party on the river shore and once again, all of a sudden, without notice, I get the notification that she’s overheating. I try to get her in the water (even tho it was raining and again it was chilly) but she was already dying. This time there was no reason at all for her to die like this and since I never had a sim dying from overheating before I got the new Pack, I guess it may be related. Packs/Worlds showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase
I downloaded the For Rent pack and in my game files it says the pack is there but in CAS and in build mode etc it says I don't own it, I have repaired sims and the EA app but the issue is still not fixed. Thanks Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title

Уже пару недель не могу запустить sims 4. Пробовала восстанавливать игру, но тщетно. После обновления он получается запустить. Решила удалить, но даже это действие не получается выполнить. Просит разрешить доступ к диску, но он и так разрешен (несколько раз уже разрешила, но тщетно, не могу ни удалить, ничего). Захожу в файл (на самом ноуте) с играми EA, но он пуст, симс пропал оттуда. У меня мак ос. Что можно попробовать в такой ситуации?Erro nas expansões
Tenho instaladas já há algum tempo as expansões "Lovestruck", "Reino da magia" e "Snowscape", mas recentemente nenhuma delas aparece quando estou a jogar o jogo. Já desinstalei e instalei as expansões várias vezes na EA app e continuam sem aparecer no jogo, cheguei a desinstalar o the sims 4 e nada. Vi que algumas pessoas têm o mesmo problema, deve ser algum bug no sistema. Por favor resolvam o mais rápido possível
[BH] Foods missing from Family Recipes
I've found at least 17 meals missing from potential Family Recipes. EDIT: I've created individual pack-specific reports for these meals as requested by EA. Please click through to the links as the reports need to be upvoted separately, though it's really one issue. It would be fantastic if when future recipes are added to the game, they were also added to the Businesses & Hobbies family recipes. Royalty & Legacy: Bolinhos De Bacalhau Crab Linguine Egusi Soup Kontomire Soup Palm Nut Soup Panna Cotta Pastel De Nata Puff Puff Adventure Awaits: Fairy Bread Jellyfish Salad Life & Death: Boiling Death Frog Hot Pot Snowy Escape: Seaweed Ramen Base Game: Nature's Calling Event: Foraged Feast Nov 2025 update: Jollof Rice and Drumsticks Dec 2024 update: Mucenici & Mămăligă Not sure which pack / update these came from: Salt-Baked Fish The above can all be made with Cooking Skill. I would also love to be able to use Baking Skill and Gourmet Cooking meals, but haven't included those in this list. I also haven't tested every recipe sims can learn from vendors etc. [removed for clarity] Edit: Moved already reported to "Existing bug reports" below. Sims won't clean up dishes from high chair
When I have one of my Sims "Load Dishwasher", all the plates on the table are collected, but the plates/bowls on the highchairs (from giving toddlers food) are ignored. The Sims can usually find stray dishes left all over the house by guests, but they ignore the dishes on the highchairs. I have one mod: the UI Cheats extension. My toddlers just aged up to children, but I'll try with UI Cheats disabled once my infants age up to toddlers. Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title
