[PC] Mass Effect Unauthorized DLC Error
Commander, you've received a new message at your private terminal! Ready to jump back in the game and save the galaxy? Are you running into an error that matches the following: "Unable to authorize the listed DLC"? Below are the steps to help resolve this error when launching both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Checking your account First things first. Make sure you are logged into the correct account. With older titles, we may often end up with multiple EA accounts without realizing it. Use the following steps to verify you are in the correct account. Head on over to EA.com and log in with your EA credentials. Under the About Me section, make sure you see a Mass Effect ID. If you play on Epic/Steam/Switch, check the Connections tab at the bottom of the page to verify the accounts are linked. Click on Order History, change the drop-down to match All, and scroll through the content, as there should be logs here with each DLC name. Note: If the EA account previously had an EA Play subscription, once the subscription ends, you will lose access to any additional content the subscription provides. You can read more about what content is included in the Learn about EA Play article. Once you verify you are in the correct account, perform the following steps below as these should help reinstall the DLC content and resolve these errors. Troubleshooting Steps Locate the following folder on their PC Default Path: C:\Program Files\EA Games. This path may vary depending on where the player installs the game. C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect 2\BioGame C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame Delete ALL DLC content within the DLC folder Delete EA License Files Make sure the EA app is closed. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER. Enable View Hidden Files and Folders Delete all files in the "License" folder. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you will need to contact one of our advisors to review the account and the content currently linked to the account you log into the game with. Players can contact our live support team on our Help Site. To request a chat or open a case through email. Thanks!1.9KViews15likes0CommentsMass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
No online pass on my game, can't play MP, the dlcs don't seem to be active. Been in chat with support for over 4 hours, speaking to like a dozen diffrent agents. They all seem clueless. Case #242969621 First I started with the steam digital deluxe edition, but clearly when you buy it, the EA server actually gives you the standard edition. Okay, so i've seen four or five threads with the same issue, just contact support and they'll fix it, right? Well actually getting in touch with support seems nigh impossible, the ai chatbot that masquerdes as support won't let you. But eventually I got though. The first support agent lied and said it was steam's fault and I needed to talk to them to 'prove that i'd bought the dlc' (it's a one item bundle, you HAVE to buy the dlc) Anyway, i got in touch with another support agent who passed me off to another one, who got the Online Pass required to actually play MP. GREAT! But not the dlc. The agent then says "reinstall the game and it'll all be fixed k thx bye" and closed the chat on me. I reinstall, and wouldn't you know it, not fixed. I get back in chat with a new agent, then my tab closes itself and I can't reopen it no matter what I do. While i'm 'afk' the new support agent 'fixes' my problem by doing something, which completely removes my permissions and ownership of the game entirely. So I've got from 'has the game but no dlc or online' to 'has the game with online but no dlc' to 'can't even boot the game because EA app is saying that I don't own it' After two more agents and like another hour of this, I eventually get one who just completely removes the steam version from my account at all, presumably writing it off as irrecoverably screwed up by the previous guy, and he gives me the EA version of the game. Great! But no dlc or online. So i'm right back where I started. I eventually get another new agent, who makes me reinstall the game again (for the fourth time total so far) claiming 'you definitely have all of the permissions, you just need to reinstall and it will work' I reinstall. No dice, doesn't work. They say "We've logged this issue and will get back to you, when we find a solution, we'll send you a message in-game." in-game? You're going to send me a message through Mass Effect 3? Somehow I seriously doubt that. Also, why would I even boot the game up unless I know the issue is fixed? It's not like i'm going to be playing it. Also, the solution is simple. You just give me the online pass and the dlcs that come with the version of the game that I originally purchased. One of you literally already did that before another one of you screwed it up and took it back away from me again. Jesus, how is this so complicated? It's been five hours. Just give me what I paid for!151Views1like4CommentsMass Effect Andromeda "You are not allowed access to online features"
Yes, another one of these. After spending many hours over multiple days discussing this issue with both EA and Steam support I was finally told to just report my issue here. In short, you have probably heard this one before. When I boot up Mass Effect Andromeda it greets me with the error message "You are not allowed to access the online features of this game". After following the steps outlined in this ( [PC] Mass Effect Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode | EA Forums - 9200656 ) forum post to no avail I contacted the EA support for the first time. Over the course of a few hours with multiple support agents attempting to help the end result was, that their internal system does not recognize me owning the game in the first place. They instructed me to reach out to Steam support since I had bought the game through them and ask for "the specifics of the purchase" (The automatic translation making it quite difficult to actually follow what exactly they were trying to tell me by the way). So I did just that, with the Steam Support getting back to me after two days stating that on their end all is fine, I own the game and it is registered in their system. Great, back to EA support I was sent. I explained my issue for what felt like the 100th time and eventually the support agent figured out that yes, indeed, their system does not recognize any ownership on my account of a product key regarding Mass Effect Andromeda. After telling me that they would help me if they could, they said they would report it to their internal team and sent me here to report my issue once more, hence this post. I have seen multiple posts about this reaching back many years. Some are marked as resolved, others aren't. Lets see my luck1.2KViews1like21CommentsME2/Andromeda - Cabin/Club Music - Digital Release Possibility?
Hello! As a big fan of electronica and sound design aesthetics featured in the ME games, I was (and still remain) surprised that these beautiful tunes, which were written & produced specifically for the ME games - have never been released in any form of a soundtrack (except partially and for the limited vinyl-only Andromeda release). I'm mainly concerned about Comaduster ("Uncertainly Entwined", "Proxaema", "Penta Quanta", "To Hide To Seek"), but there are more of them, the tracklists can be found on some wiki sites like here: > Andromeda - music terminal on the Tempest | Mass Effect 2 - club music Some of these tracks are uploaded on YouTube by fans like here, for example. But it's a shame there's still no way to listen to these gems anywhere officially. So I wonder if there's any way to change that? A compilation like Cyberpunk 2077 radio music would be a fantastic release and, I'm pretty sure, treated warmly by a lot of ME fans!Missing multiplayer skill points
I have a confirmed database synchronization error on my account. My Asari Adept character is Rank XX, but the server is only granting me 78 available skill points instead of the 82 I am entitled to at Level 20.I have already performed a Character Level Reset and used a Respec Card, but the point calculation is stuck. Since this is a server-side entitlement issue, can you please perform a manual account sync or a content re-grant for my multiplayer profile to refresh the Rank XX skill point flag? I even tried leveling her to 20 without spending any skill points (tedious!)Unable to download DLC for Mass Effect 3 in the EA app
After purchasing and launching Mass Effect 3 (2012) on EA, it was discovered that there was no DLC download for both single and multiplayer games. When I tried to find them in "add-ons management", they were not displayed. They weren't in the store either. Restarting the game, reinstalling the game, and clearing the cache did not help. There is no way to play with DLC. Please explain how to solve this problem. If there is a problem on the part of the launcher, are they going to solve it or at least provide the opportunity to manually install DLC.566Views0likes12Comments
