Cannot purchase items from shops
I am having this issue in the Steam version of the game. I can't purchase items from vendors. Whenever I press the button to confirm, the button flickers but no purchase is actually made. I have tried traveling to other locations and trying to shop there, but the issue persists. Not sure what I can do to fix this. Edited to add: I was able to solve the issue. I am playing with a controller and the button was not being recognized for some reason. I had to disconnect the control and use the keyboard for a bit, and reconnect the control again. I can now shop without any issues. I am not sure what triggered this issue, but will update if it happens again.
Bug report: Dock Town - Thread Market stairs blocked off.
Before the update hit, I could freely move through the Thread Market area, to pick up anything that was missed during the mission to rescue the Thread leader. After the patch however, there are now people blocking both stairways leading up to the upper level of the market, making it impossible to pass.
Aim assist off but there's still camera pull
I completed the game as a rogue ranger, and from the start, I disabled all the aim assist settings. However, throughout the game, I kept experiencing random camera pulls when I nocked my bow. I did continue to double-check the settings. It's clearly a bug, as I've since moved on to another game, and the aiming is incredibly smooth in comparison to the frustrating experience I had with Veilguard for over a month with ranged attacks. Eye color not loading on new game with imported Rook
Minor quality of life technical issue, but wanted to report it anyway. Additional note: this new game was started Dec 21st 2024. Thank you!:) What is your EA ID or Console ID (PSN ID/Gamertag)?uss-killa What platform are you playing on? PC (through Steam) What is happening? (and what do you expect to happen instead?) On new game creation, when importing a previously created Rook, the selected eye color will not load on new game start/on prologue chapter. Eye color will be black. Does this happen in a specific area of the game? From new game creation until at least reaching the Lighthouse for the first time. Please share any steps you've tried so far to resolve the issue: Issue can be resolved by using the Mirror of Transformation and re-selecting preferred eye color.
[PC] House of the Dead Crashing
I'm going to try this one more time more concisely and then I'll just hope for the best, I guess: When the cut-scene for the first confrontation with Hezenkoss during House of the Dead (the one in the Fade) should trigger, I instead crash to desktop. Fiddled with graphic settings, didn't help. Happens every time, the first 100% consistent crash on a cut scene I've found, as opposed to the game just doing it randomly and then running fine on a second try. I assume this is related to something known to be occurring for people playing through Steam. This is my fourth playthrough and I've not experienced the issue prior to it. Attaching a save file (hopefully zipped correctly but if not someone who could use the info pls let me know if I did it wrong and if so how to correct it because I am genuinely trying to help). I saved right on the cliff/overhang directly before where you jump down to confront her but for some reason the save always loads me back to the area where you fight the rage demon (which is already dead. Weird). It's not too far away, no other enemies to fight. Specs as far as I can tell that the nebulous "you" I am theoretically speaking to need/want: On Steam, using no mods at all. White screen and frozen game at meditating action
It seems like every time I medidate in Rook's room the screen turns white but does not proceed with the scene. This started happening yesterday, and the only thing I can do is force-shut down the game. Except that then the EA app registers the game as "still playing" so I need to switch off my PC every single time and try again. Now it happens with the wardrobe as well (as in the screen stays black for a bit, then reload Rook's room except that everything is frozen) and even when I shut down and reload, I cannot use the meditating action anymore (or the wardrobe), so I cannot proceed with the game. I also tried reloading a previous save but I am still stuck.Show Off your Best Inquisitor

[EA App][PC] Preorder & Deluxe items not unlocking no chest issue back again
Hi I did not want to start another post about this, but I am no longer getting the chest to spawn on my first visit to the lighthouse. I even waited to see if it would spawn later in the first meditation after decorating Rook's room, but no, I do not get a chest or popup even after the wardrobe message. Yes, I have created a brand-new character Yes I have not skipped any dialogue Yes, I have checked my EA App and Game Licensing ( EA App vs EA Play edition ) Honestly, I don't know what's going on. I have even disabled my third-party Antivirus software, Kaspersky, and tried a VPN in case it was a "Connecting to Online Services" issue. I cannot control this connection in-game on my PC or collect debug information to determine any issues, as I lack the knowledge and instructions to monitor it.
Crackling sound making it unplayable
Title screen, Varric doing his monologue and character creation all play sound with no problem but the second I got to the first cutscene with my rook and then into Mintrathous the sound is constantly crackling and cutting out. Have tried every possible audio setting in game and updated drivers. (On windows 10)
