Hackers in Battlefront 2015/2017: what are EA responses ?
Dear EA, hi everyone, I have been playing battlefront 2015 and 2017 since release on console and later on PC. I have loved those games so much and crafted great memories playing them. Unfortunately, they have shown to be close to unplayable. (at least recently) The following applies more to BF2015 since that's the game I've played the most recently. Cheaters and hackers are all over the place: they see you everywhere, they kill you through wall, they take significantly less damage and deal absurd amount of damage. It is very important to understand, that this not just one hacker in the lobby. Those are several people in the same lobby making the game unplayable, and if you dare say something in the chat, they make the game crash and you instantly return to the main menu. My games usually last 3 minutes before I am kicked out to the main menu, and those are 3 minutes during which I was just killed through wall, at absurd ranges, with absurd amount of damage in no time. This has not always been the case. For instance, I do not remember encountering cheaters at launch. We, the players, use the report feature offered by AI to signal those hackers. However, nothing has changed in years. Cheaters come back with new accounts. Sometimes, they are still playing with the same one, despite reports. My question is, EA, what are you really doing against this ? What are the difficulties you encounter doing so ? How do you see the future of it ? Is the situation overwhelming ? If yes, how it it possible since you have expert hands on the code and can patch the game for each hack reported ? This is a real problem, because you are still selling a game that is almost exclusively an online players versus players game. It holds breaches exploited by hackers, which make the game unplayable. If you allow me the comparison, grocery stores are not selling spoiled food, so why would you ? I, as a player who bought your games, really needs to understand the situation. How did we come to this ? Why can't you get rid of cheaters ? What are doing to solve this issue, also what are you not doing ? I love BF2015. I really wish I could play it. But for now I just need explanations on the products I bought. I know this might not be read. But I am writing on the forum because I know that EA is less and less reachable; from experience, you cannot get those sorts of answer with the technical support system. Also, it is with great pleasure that I will read any comment from people with knowledge on the matter. Sincerly yours.11Views0likes0CommentsIssue with launching star wars squadron

One thing I’ve always appreciated about Star Wars games is how strongly character identity shapes the experience. Whether you’re playing a fully defined hero or creating your own character, names, backgrounds, and personal choices often affect how immersive the game feels. In RPG-style or story-driven Star Wars games especially, even small details like a character’s name or faction alignment can make the journey feel more personal. Outside of games, fans often enjoy experimenting with Star Wars–style identities just for fun or storytelling inspiration, using tools such as a Star Wars name generator to explore how different names fit within the galaxy. That got me thinking: Do you prefer playing as established characters or creating your own? How important is a character’s name and backstory to your enjoyment of a Star Wars game? Would you like future Star Wars games to offer deeper customization in this area? Interested to hear how others here feel about identity and immersion in Star Wars games.25Views0likes0CommentsNot connected to Internet??
I'm getting this error when trying to start Jedi: Fallen Order "We've noticed your computer is currently offline. to activate your game on this computer using your EA Account, you'll need to connect to the internet" I've literally tried everything. Disabling Firewalls and antivirus, restarting app, repairing app, reseting network settings, reinstalling EA, trying to install an old version, running the app on another device, changing from wifi to ethernet, etc. Please help. I spent money on this game and want to be able to play it. Can't find anything that works online221Views0likes3CommentsNew PC, SWBF2 Mouse Malfunction
Just in case any one else has had this, I just got a new PC and wanted to see Battlefront2 on it, and the mouse has had issues from the moment I first loaded the game. First time loading, no mouse cursor visible. Second time and thereafter it appeared. But once in game I could only turn left or right a maximum of 90 degrees if that. I'd have to upload a video to show how wack it was. The game's just bugging out with my Deathadder Elite and Synapse 4 software from Razer. I've never had this problem before.28Views0likes0CommentsLore consistency issues in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor
Hello there, I’m a big Star Wars fan and I genuinely love both Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor. The story, atmosphere, and especially the Vader scenes are amazing. That’s why some small but important lore issues really stand out. In both games there are scenes where ships jump to hyperspace while still inside a planet’s atmosphere. This breaks long-established Star Wars rules and feels unnecessary, since a slightly longer cutscene could have avoided it completely. Another moment that bothered me is the ending of Fallen Order. Vader stabbing Cal straight through the torso with a lightsaber is an incredible scene — but then it’s barely acknowledged afterwards. That’s an injury that should be fatal. If Cal was meant to survive, the scene could have been handled differently. These are small details, but they break immersion in games that otherwise show a lot of love for Star Wars. I hope future titles pay a bit more attention to these kinds of lore details.26Views0likes0Comments
