Mass Effects future for games.
Story and Narrative: - Emotional character depth and life: Give Companions and key characters strong personalities, meaningful dialogue, and genuine emotional arcs that players connect with - Iconic music and timing: Bring back memorable and emotionally resonant music that hits at the right moments to elevate key scenes like the leaving of earth for example. - Preserving fan favorite species: Do not sideline or remove major races like Quarians and Geth. They are deeply loved and should play significant roles. - Memorable Environments: Deliver visually striking and intriguing locations similar to the collector ship (ME2) , Geth ship (ME3) , and Earth battlefield (ME3). These moments help make the universe feel alive and cinematic. - Replayability and Motivation: Maintain a strong branching of outcomes based on relationships and player choices. Inspiring speeches and moments that motivate players and encourage multiple play throughs or increase that rich cinematic experience. - Cinematics: Keep the original Huge war cutscenes with future games like the space battle on ME3 were amazing to see and really make the games shine. Future Features: - Playable Alien/Customization: Allow players to create and play as customizable Asari,Turian,Krogan,Geth, or Quarian characters in the campaign. This would be an incredible way to deepen immersion and let fans live out their own stories in the Mass effect universe but stay true to lore and story. - Multiplayer return: The mass effect 3 multiplayer was one of the best co-op modes of its era bringing it back - with meaningful progression tied to single player galaxy (Similar to the original asset contribution system and difficulty tiers) Would be a very well received by the community. Character Design direction: - Male characters: We want clear Confident masculinity: Rugged,Athletic, and imposing builds that feel powerful and capable - Examples of successful fan favorites from other franchises: Leon,Dom,Marcus,Master chief they are battle hardened veterans or heroic champions who dominate the battlefield in presence and physicality. - Female characters: We want them to embody stylized glamour and visual appeal beautiful, sexy, and athletic designs that serve as eye candy without crossing into explicit or nude territory. They should be feminine, attractive, and aspirational. Strong and capable while remaining visually striking and appealing in classic action game tradition. Examples from other franchises: Lara croft, Sheva , Claire, Jill , etc... Optional / Bonus : Adding mod tools and cross play. Campaign edits or private multiplayer lobbies for maps/game modes would make it a forever game. Examples: Arma , Minecraft , Skyrim, etc... making the ultimate sandbox. I believe this would Make Mass effect super successful and I tried to keep it as professional as possible along with modern wording. Anyone who supports this post and shares it thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really do want to help improve gaming from how it shifted over the years. If the company listens to this thank you so much as well. I tried to word this as professional as I could. - Keelah Se'lai .Mass Effect Legendary Edition on ps4 controller issue
I have just started the prelude of Mass Effect 1 on the PS4 and my PS4 controller has locked up on multiple occasions. I either end up running into a wall and stopping, or the controller completely locks up and I have to turn the PS4 power off to reset the whole system to have the controller work again. Is there any fix for this issue or should I contact PSN and try and get my money back?Mass Effect 2 PS3 error in the Omega transport zone
I'm playing the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. When I'm in Omega, after talking to the mercenaries and going to the transport location to start Archangel's mission, it gets stuck on the loading screen and corrupts the save data. I already have one save before the error and I'm trying to log in with that one and some new ones. Does anyone know how I can avoid this? I know I can just not go for it and continue playing, but I wanted all my teammates...New Game Mass Effect
Hello BioWare Team, As a long-time and dedicated fan of the Mass Effect series, I would like to contribute an idea regarding story continuity in the upcoming game. Given the various endings of Mass Effect 3 and the teaser with Liara and the N7 armor, it's clear that addressing this will be crucial for many. I propose the following approach, which would respect player choices while allowing for a strong continuation of the story: * Allow save imports from any Mass Effect 3 ending: Enable players to transfer their saved game regardless of which ME3 ending they chose (Destroy, Control, Synthesis, Refuse). This would honor their investment and emotional decisions. * Canonicalize the "Destroy" ending (with Shepard's survival) through additional content: * For players who import a save from the "Destroy" ending (under conditions where Shepard survives), the new game would unlock special dialogues, side quests, and deeper interactions related to Shepard's return and their romantic relationships. This would serve as a direct continuation of their story. * Explanation for Shepard's survival: This could be simply linked to the nanotechnology and enhancements Shepard received through Project Lazarus in Mass Effect 2. If Shepard survived such an ordeal, surviving the final explosion, supported by these enhancements, would make sense. * EDI's fate: Similarly, if the Normandy could be repaired (as suggested by the scene after the Destroy ending), EDI, as its integral digital component, could also be restored in some way, perhaps in a different form or requiring reactivation. Her deep connection to the ship could serve as a bridge. * For other endings: If a player imports a save from another ending (Control, Synthesis, Refuse), the new game could assume that Shepard did not physically survive and became a legend. Dialogues and the story in such cases would focus on Shepard's legacy and its repercussions, but without directly continuing their personal relationship storylines. Players would still be immersed in the world, but would be subtly motivated to try the Destroy ending if they wish to experience the "complete" narrative. I believe this approach would allow BioWare to continue Shepard's powerful story (as hinted by the teaser), while respecting the diversity of player choices and providing players with clear motivation. Hey everyone, fellow Mass Effect fans! I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now and I'd love to hear what you all think about it. It's about connecting the Mass Effect 3 endings with the new game and the potential return of Shepard. My thought is that BioWare could allow us to import our saves from ME3 with any ending, but the dialogue options related to romantic relationships and full Shepard continuity would only unlock if you chose the "Destroy" ending where Shepard survives. This could be explained by the nanotechnology from the Lazarus Project. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it would help BioWare elegantly bridge the story and also respect player choices? Let me know in the comments. Thank you!Mines barrier mission
Hi, i have a problem with Ps4 ME Legendary Mass Effect 3 Omega DLC mines mission. I get stuck after defeating waves of mechs while defending Aria. She just stands there with hands in barrier and nothing happens. I dont want to reinstall game, tried resetting mission, killing myself, loading saves and autosave and i dont know what to do anymore. Is there a patch or something to fix this? Thank youController Not Working - Mass Effect Legendary Edition Steam
System: PC Windows 10 Purchased on Steam Latest EA App Version 13.482.0.5995 I recently reinstalled Legendary Edition to replay the trilogy and no matter what I try I cannot get my controller to connect (I have PS5 and a generic xbox controller). I remember playing with controller just fine back in 2021 and the best I can find online is that this seems to be an ongoing issue with the EA App itself. I bought the game on steam, I have adjusted every possible controller setting on there. I have tried adding EADesktop as a non-steam game, and that does show the controller in the Legendary menu, but once I boot up ME1 it no longer shows any controller options. If anyone has any other work arounds to try that would be great!1.2KViews0likes3Comments
