Custom Shorts
EA, why for the custom shorts (Pantoja 317, Peña 316, Shevchenko 315) are their names on the shorts? They can’t be used by CAFs if someone else’s name is on the shorts. Previously, the shorts design was available with no name. There are a lot of great custom shorts now with no purpose in using them. Please just tweak this back to how it was pre May.11Views0likes0CommentsPurchasing all fighters bundle

Dear EA Sports Team / UFC Gaming Community, Hope you're all good. As an old-school UFC game and MMA fan, I've made an extensive wishlist for UFC 6 that outlines features I believe will take the game to the next level. The presentation includes a complete overhaul of gameplay mechanics, new modes of play, and a complete reworking of Career Mode. See it below and consider what's in store for MMA gaming! UFC 6: Complete Wishlist & Career Mode Rework The future begins here. 1. Gameplay & Mechanics Overhaul • Sophisticated Ground Game: • Bring back Grapple Assist or introduce slick transitions. • Add scrambling mini-games, cage wall reversals, and realistic clinch control. • New Submission Options: • Introduce standing guillotine, flying triangle, Suloev stretch, buggy choke. • Damage System: • Realistic cuts, viewable limps, and hand injuries. • Implement doctor stoppages and cumulative trauma (CTE/chin degradation). • Fight IQ AI • AI picks up your style mid-fight. • Corner advice mid-round: "Time that left hook!" or "Sprawl next time!" 2. Game Modes • The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): • Live-in house drama, team rivalries, coach-led training. • Legacy Mode: • Fight through decades (2000s–2020s) against legends such as GSP, Ronda, and more. • Pride rules, bare-knuckle throwbacks, or vale tudo era options. • Event Simulator: • Create your own cards, simulate outcomes, and watch rankings change. • Fight Night Throwback: • A sub-mode that is focused on boxing with legends such as Ali, Tyson, and Canelo. 3. Rework Career Mode – "The Road to Greatness" This is where UFC Career Mode needs the most overhaul. Eliminate or Revamp the Longevity System The current longevity meter is one of the most unrealistic and limiting game mechanics. It artificially creates tension and forces retirement prematurely, ignoring how real fighters slowly decline, remake themselves, or even achieve comeback late careers. Guys such as Glover Teixeira, Randy Couture, and even Robbie Lawler didn't see linear decline—so why must we be robbed of greatness upon filling a bar? • Implement a Wear-and-Tear/Attrition System that logs damage per bout, having an impact on stats in real-time (e.g., slower reflexes, lower durability). • Provide career-altering injuries—a torn ACL might push back fights, or broken hands might diminish striking ability for months. • Let players retire naturally, with narratives and media chatter encouraging retirement when performance starts to decline or opponents catch up. • Amateur Origins: • Choose starting location: college wrestling, Bangkok street Thai boxing, or Rio BJJ academy. • Fight in fantasy versions of PRIDE, EliteXC, WEC, or Strikeforce. • Build fanbases, rivalries, and hype before arriving at the UFC. • Evolving Fighter System: • Learn new skills through usage and sparring. • Watch your fighter age with time—brawlers age more quickly than technicians. • Rivalries & Relationships: • Engage in trash talk via social media, press conferences, and in-game cutscenes. • Friends and foes will affect matchmaking and gym politics. • Lifestyle Mode: • Control equipment, tattoos, nutritionists, agents, sponsorships, and even retire early due to injuries. 4. Online Enhancements • Online Career Path: • Start in online amateur leagues, build a team (gym), win belts live. • Interactive online trash talk, hype feeds, and gym rivalries. • Ranked Mode Evolution: • Weight-class-based matchmaking. • Risk-reward match bonuses—XP, gloves, or highlight reel slots. • Camp Mode: • Online teams, shared gyms, in-game belts, and sparring sessions. 5. Presentation & Immersion • Commentary Variety: • Switch commentators: Rogan & DC, Anik & Bisping, or international commentary teams. • Fight Week Features: • Live weigh-ins, tense staredowns, media scrums. • Custom Walkouts: • Choose national flags, special chants ("Diaz! Diaz!"), and custom music. • Real Cornermen: • Real coaches like Trevor Wittman & Eugene Bareman. • Mid-fight impact (boost regen, new game plan). 6. Fighter Creation & Customization • More Create-a-Fighter: • Add aging, scars, broken noses, eye injuries, and tattoos. • Personalize walkout routines, callouts, and post-fight reactions. • Style Identity Presets: • Choose from archetypes like "Dagestani Wrestler," "Muay Thai Pressure Fighter," or "BJJ Counter Artist." • Chemistry System: • Relationships with coaches matter—some fighters excel, others find themselves trapped in specific camps. 7. Bonus Features • Rule Sets & Environments: • PRIDE rules, ONE rules, bare-knuckle, and custom cage settings. • Crossover Fighters: • Bring in stars from other combat sports, like Tyson Fury, Canelo, Gordon Ryan, Tenshin Nasukawa, and Buakaw Banchamek. • Universe Mode (Franchise-Style): •Create your own MMA promotion—sign fighters, market events, replicate rankings and rivalries over time. Thanks so much for taking the time to read over this wishlist. I am confident that these additions will make UFC 6 the ideal MMA gaming experience, reproducing the thrill, theatrics, and sophistication of the sport. Let's bring the future of MMA gaming into being! Looking forward to getting your comments and hopefully some of these ideas seeing the light. Best regards, pndjoel327Views3likes5CommentsSweeps and Special Ground elbow?
Hi, I've only noticed this a couple of times. So when I elbow the head in an online match or in practice mode from any top position, my opponent automatically traps my head down so I'm out of the postured up position. However twice I've been finished online when someone has thrown an elbow to my head as part of a postured up G&P combo while I'm on bottom and they have remained in the postured up position, able to continue landing postured up G&P. Both times it has happened it has been in half guard. I've tried everything I can think of in Practice Mode and I can't replicate this. Much appreciation in advance to anyone that can help with this. Second thing; I often get swept when in top side control or half guard into bottom side control or half guard. Sometimes it looks like a static sweep but mostly it looks dynamic and seems to happen when I'm trying to transition or punch / elbow. Again I just cannot work out how my opponents are doing it and how to deny it if indeed it is deniable (are they just racing it when I'm mid transition / strike? Is it to do with GA?). Sometimes I do it myself when I'm mounted and being pounded, I think it's some combo of R2, L1 and right stick that I'm hitting by accident while trying to block and pull the head down and I end up hitting all 3 buttons but I can't do it consistently. You obviously can't simulate this vs CPU in practice mode. I guess given all the above, my questions are; how is this sweep done, is it deniable and if so, how do I deny it? Thanks again.38Views0likes0CommentsDidnt receive ultimate edit

Dear EA Sports UFC Team, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing not just on behalf of myself, but on behalf of the passionate community of fans who’ve invested their time, energy, and money into this franchise. Over the years, many of us—myself included—have shared detailed feedback, suggestions, and creative ideas for how the UFC game series can evolve. From in-depth alter ego concepts to gameplay improvements, career mode overhauls, and calls for more authenticity, we’ve voiced our thoughts with the hope that we’d be heard. While there have been some great improvements and additions (which we’re grateful for), many of the most requested features still go unaddressed. So, my honest question is: when will the UFC developers and EA truly start listening to the community that supports this franchise? We’re not asking for perfection—just progress. Fans want a game that reflects the sport we love. One that respects MMA’s depth, realism, and strategy—not one caught between arcade fun and simulation confusion. Many of us feel like we’re investing our hard-earned money (or our parents’) into a product that doesn’t always return that respect in kind. I’ve seen developers and community managers like my posts, which is encouraging—but when will that translate into real change and implementation? This franchise lives or dies by the community. We care deeply about its success. All we ask is that you care just as much about the players who make it matter. Sincerely, hijoel9073Views0likes2Comments- 11Views0likes0Comments
EA SPORTS UFC 5 — a simulator of bugs, lag, and total disrespect for the player
First of all, EA makes the worst games on the market. And that’s not an insult — it’s a fact. A direct result of developers who’ve simply stopped caring, especially about a game that has no real competition. Only EA releases a new game not when there’s progress, but when the previous one has completely rotted. It’s not “marketing strategy”, it’s just “we don’t care anymore”. UFC 4 dies → let’s dump 5 → now recycle it again for 6. Brilliant. You removed back takes from the clinch (unless against the cage). But then in 2025 you add Zabit’s alt ego, with a basic and broken heel hook spam combo. Seriously? And the back submission bug? Still alive. All your opponent has to do is pre-press a direction — and they magically escape the sub with 100% success. Super realistic. Super EA. Cage stun? Congrats, you’re in a 50/50 fight now. The fighter auto-glues to the cage, and you can just spam body knees until a second stun. Try blocking high? You still get blasted in the face with a knee. This isn’t a bug — it’s an EA-certified feature. Ground & Pound is a lottery, not a mechanic. Random elbows, random blocks, random knockouts. You fake a transition, cancel it instantly — still gets blocked. Lose stamina on one fake? Next transition is 2x slower, and you’re finished from thin air. Great system, right? Round 1 = skill matters. Round 2 = RNG rules. Anyone can get a knockdown. It’s about who lands the random uppercut first. Lag? Blame your opponent’s P2P third-world internet, because EA still hasn’t added dedicated servers. So… where is all the money I spent on UFC 5? Where are the fixes? Where are the servers? Or are we still eating the same sandwich from UFC 4.5, soon to be served again in 6? Spam is a viable playstyle. Opponent figures out EA’s “meta”? He picks Muay Thai, closes distance with fake kicks — and guess what? You auto-lunge into a straight, then eat a combo. Try showing boxing skills up close? He throws a fast 1–2, then ends with a hyper-fast body knee every time. You read it. You block it. But the system rewards spam anyway. Can’t stand in the pocket, can’t play at range — wrong matchup. Wanna grapple? Grappling advantage means nothing — he’ll still magically block it all. Example on video And this is just the start. I’ll be adding more, because EA keeps ignoring the community, and even if the chance to be heard is 1%, I won’t shut up. It’s easier for EA to eat garbage for breakfast, then serve it to the players with a smile. If any of this gets fixed in UFC 6 — I’ll be the first to offer 10 monetization ideas that won’t kill the game. And no, I’m not some LS bot. I’m in Division 18, and after every loss I hit Learn, analyze, and study 100x more than your devs have patched UFC 5 since launch.
