Adults/teens/children at work/school on reload trying to skip work/school
Adults/Teens/Children at school/work during lot reload are prompting them all to come home, effectively skipping school/work. I had 1 sim on their home lot - a residential small business lot, the business is not open on reload. My other four sims, an adult, two teens, and a child were all at work and school and immediately once the lot loads, the screenshots show what is popping up and I have to click through. I also had my adult sim return home from work before his shift was finished without a popup asking if he should miss work when I was playing yesterday. This occurred when I took 2 of my sims off lot to a park for a quest from the nature's calling event. update: my adult sim was still at work while one of the teens completed one of the nature's calling events (craft 2 items on new woodworking table) and I clicked on the UI for the next set of quests - I then received another popup asking if I want my adult sim at work to skip work... maybe it has to do with the event? I did also have issues with the Reaper's Rewards event in 2024 and was unable to continue progress on the quests past week 1.[DU] Utili-Bot disappeared after breaking in rain
So I had my sim make a Utili-Bot (Declan) quite a while ago, and he worked just fine until he didn't. Basically, he wandered out in the rain, so I had my sim turn him off and go out to put him in her inventory. He turned off, sank towards the ground, my sim went up to grab him, and... gone. Not in any of my sim's inventories, not in the household inventory, I have SCOURED the lot to try and find him to no avail, including saving it to my gallery and searching for him in a new save. No sign of him. The weirdest part is that, when clicking on the robotics workstation to try and upgrade my other Utili-Bot, he's still listed, but my sim waves like she can't reach him (pictured). I am unable to plant anything in the ground or planters. I thought it was something with just the cowberry but it seems any plant doesn’t get the Plant option if it’s on the ground or in a planter. If I try to choose Plant from the planter, my Sim just puts the plant in the planter but doesn’t actually plant it. Then the Plant option is greyed out and it says it’s too cold to plant. This only recently happened after the July update. I have no mods or CC installed either.Buying packs on Steam and EA
Hello. I accidentally bought packs on steam and EA. Now my packs, such as - horse ranch expansion pack, the cat and dog pack, cottage pack, and kitchen clutter do not work on either one now. Could you please help me with this? I have tried to see if I need to redownload them, but it says they are already installed. Also, the packs I bought on steam, could you transfer them to my EA account please? Or is there a way I can access all of my add-Ons through my EA account? Thank you for your time.

I downloaded sims 4 on 2 pc users with 2 separate EA accounts. Account 1 was downloaded without steam. Account 2 was downloaded with steam. The play button on Account 1 did not show while both users had the sims 4 downloaded at the same time. After deleting the sims 4 from User 2, it started working on User 1. After a year or so, I decided to try again to see if it would work. I downloaded sims 4 on User 2 using steam again. While the download was in progress, I opened the sims 4 on user one just to make sure I still had access to the game in case anything didn't work. I opened it in offline mode (unintentionally. I just didn't try to go online). After the download completed, I tried opening both EA and The Sims 4 in User 2 (both in and out of steam). In all instances, EA opened on the taskbar and closed again within seconds. I tried opening EA in user 1. (Had to close the game in the end to be able to go online.) I checked The Sims 4 and the play button wasn't there again. I checked the properties and saw that the app was reading the file from a steam folder instead of its original location (which I am unaware of. Prolly should have checked that before trying this thing again). Since my brother is the owner of User 2 and all the steam stuff, (I don't have steam or a steam account) I switched the EA account (Still on User 1, my user.) to his account. The play button appeared (but it asked to log in to a steam account since it's playing from steam. I didn't log into my brother's account because I then understood why everything wasn't working and I also didn't want to be unable to play The Sims without steam installed, something my brother experienced some time ago). I'm now guessing that EA is trying to open the game from the wrong location on my user and maybe there's more to it but I would like to know how to get EA to open The Sims 4 from a different location and see if that would work. Any other suggestions are welcome! (Please don't ask me to uninstall it again because that thing uses so much data if I uninstall it my brother is never going to install it again with the amount of data which would have been wasted. I haven't played in a while, but I jumped on and everything was working like normal, and then one day while I was playing, my laptop died in the middle of my game (low battery) and ever since then, I can't get my game to launch. At first, it would tell me "Failure to launch" and to try again later. well now it has been almost a week of me trying new things every day. I even downloaded steam and tried to access it through there. Now, I press play from the Steam app, then it opens the EA app (i linked my accounts) and then, nothing. It just says, "Launching game..." and then "preparing game" and then nothing. I am not tech-savvy, and I feel like I have tried everything. I have spent a lot of money and time on my game and this whole thing has been really frustrating. I have attached my DxDiag
