Either EA gives me a $1200 or they need to get their sh*t together. I have paid so much over years of playing the Sims 4 and as of now after the March 18th update, I can't even OPEN my game. It crashes and says their is an Error on EA's side. I've repaired the game, deleted caches and .script files, I have gone offline and online, basically the works. I'm so done with EA and Sims. Y'all killed your game and honestly am genuinely thinking on putting in a refund report for every single game and dlc I have gotten quite attached to since I was a kid because this is lazy and probably evil. Odd how this Marketplace comes up and suddenly no CC/Mods at ALL work. Crazy how the game can't even launch. Fix it.
All of my Add-On purchases are gone from my library
hi!! i would really appreciate any support or suggestions as to what i can do here because EA support has been no help at all. i’m gonna write this out as simple as i can because it’s really complicated platform: pc, windows 10 mods?: yes cc?: yes the issues: -add ons are removed from both the sims 4 game and my EA library -my play time was reduced down to 0 the complications: -original account username was changed -original email has been changed (no access to receipts, the email was compromised years ago) -i have successfully played on The Sims with this account and with all of my purchased add-on packs AFTER these changes had been made, -last time i played was about 8 months ago at the most -there is proof of me owning DLC content in my game files -you can tell i owned these packs when you open the game because my “Continue Game” save has a bunch of items missing which were all from these packs -to free up some storage (to even play this **bleep** game) i let microsoft suggest some files to delete, and then i removed them. many of them ended up being my CC files, so i restored them what i’ve already tried: -talking to EA support for two hours -resetting cashe -“repairing” the game -logging in and out over and over again -restarting my pc -updating my pc -opening the game and checking the marketplace or whatever (when i used to play this wasn’t a thing, so it’s new to me) -checking the add-ons in the EA app (which said i did not own them and gave me the option to buy them) -moving the DLC folder i found around in my files -restarting the app -EA forums -app recovery -crying -hitting my desk -kicking my computer -prayer as you may have inferred by the fact that i’m even making this post (and hopefully confirmed by the long list) i’m out of ideas and very sick of this. i 100% own these add on packs, they were literally my whole childhood. i would save up my christmas or birthday money to buy them. maybe i dont need to say this because you can assume, but im so upset. if you can offer ANYTHING to help, please do. thank you.Mods/CC still not showing up 03/18
I booted my game up for Sims 4 and I am still having issues where a lot of my Mods/CC is not showing up and that's after I downloaded the latest patch for today 03/18 after the issue that occurred yesterday 03/17. Not sure if anyone else is also seeing this but this has also messed up several of my save files and the game is super glitchy and i have note downloaded any new content in a while. Hopefully this gets resolved soon because this is a major issue for a lot of players.

I do have C&D on backburner Wishlist but I honestly want an update so I can have short legged dogs :P My furbaby is not represented XD Debating Laundry Day and Nifty Knitting, also. And lastly, if I should get (though not on sale) Wonderland Playroom (I do not play kids but I love the theme), before they move it to Marketplace. I just do not know if I will support it since the currency is purposely not to match a Kit price.Updates and Connections between packs
I feel like there are great opportunities to create unique connections between packs that are being missed. Creating these connections would be synergistic and would increase sales. Here's an example: We now have a royalty pack. It would have been cool if you'd added an update to Crystal Creations that if people have both Crystal Creations and Royalty and Legacies, sims can now make custom tiaras at the gemology table. Perhaps adding bejeweled swords or decorative daggers. I made this suggestion to my friend and she was immediately like, "OH MY GOD! I would have bought both packs immediately just for the chance to have tiaras with custom gems and metal combos." There are multitudes of other synergies that could be identified. Anyone have some they'd like to share?
Island Living Refresh?
I think a small refresh for the Island Living pack would be really nice!!!! I would love to see mermaids upgraded to meet the standards of the other occults and have their own perks and more customization options, aswell as a secret lot like Sylvan Glade or the Mt Komerebi Summit, maybe an underwater cave? Overall for the game I hope theres less focus on creating NEW packs/kits and more focus on the base game and older packs, i think it could be really beneficial to have a few free updates and additions to old packs? 💚

Sul Sul! I'm having some issues with memory on my laptop - which is solely used to play TS4.. I have all add-ons (packs / kits / expansions) and so the memory is now full. I went for a higher spec but alas, I am defeated! Is there a way to play with all add-ons without having them all installed on my laptop? ie can I use Steam / Origin or anything similar to play through an app rather than installing? Apologies, new to the technical side even though I've played 20+ years (and don't wish to purchase another laptop) Thanks!
