Game pack/Expansion pack suggestion
I would like to see a new game pack or expansion pack that has a new tween life stage. To me it seems children are going right from a child between ages like 6 to 10 to a 16 or 17 year old. There needs to be a tween life stage to bridge that gap a little bit. Also, with it maybe have a home school function with option of kids being homeschooled and/or online learning. Some kind of a band skill or something being that most tweens attempt a year or so of band so make it some kind of after school club or something where they can play an instrument. Maybe have them go through a try out thing to get put with a specific instrument. Instruments would be flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, tuba, saxophone, percussion etc. Maybe also school choir or club. After school sports or clubs that change with the seasons would be good too. Have these options for the teens too. A career or profession that is still missing is some kind of firefighter/paramedic career. There's doctor and police but no firefighter career. I feel like this should have been in the GTW expansion. Another career should be some kind of counselor career where they can end up being a high profile psychologist and/or psychiatrist (maybe that's where the career can branch out between the two). With that, sims can battle depression/anxiety or ADHD or the like starting at the previously meantioned tween life stage. Another career with that could be a pharmaceutical career. That could be the traditional pharmacist top career branch and have some kind villian career branch where they can disperse medicine or sell it in a harmful manner rather than a good manner. All this can be set in a suburban town/city that is kind of a city but not a full on city like a suburb (so no sky scrappers). Possibly have a neighborhood that's meant to look run down and old and old industrial looking warehouses turned into houses/apartments or the entire town has that theme to it with maybe a lot trait/challenge of having fires start easier or at random (in comes the firefighter career) then more of a middle class neighborhood and a higher class neighborhood. Maybe can have the old red or brown brick style school building for the tween life stage school. The school doesn't have to be an active usable school like the high school years expansion but just look like it's there somewhere if that makes sense. I also think somewhere there should be some kind of independence day holiday that should have been included with the seasons expansion. Or some kind of holiday that can act as such that won't offend anyone. Something that involves fireworks (again in comes firefighter/paramedic career). With that a new fireworks activity (teens and higher and younger life stages can watch and maybe have a play with sparklers activity that kids and up can enjoy). Other new activities can be a water slide for the pool, and a trampoline of some kind and ability to play tag or something similar for outside play. More family indoor card games or board games of some kind. A pool table. I hope something can come of all or most of the above suggestions and I'm not the only one that wants them. I'm sure there's more things that I'm not thinking of right now but this was a hefty start.40Views0likes2CommentsSims 4 Imaginary Friends
I’m most definitely you’re number 1 fan lol but there is one thing I want to come to sims 4 soooo bad. “Imaginary friends” like in sims 3. My mom told me when I was really little that I had an imaginary friend and playing sims 3 where they could have one. Super cool. Please please think about it atleast.104Views4likes4CommentsContent from older packs need to be slowly integrated into the Base Game
I became aware of this when I saw many simmers wishing for a band-themed pack. A band doesn’t just include a guitarist and a drummer, but also a singer. Therefore the singing skill needs to be brought to the Base Game, so there won’t be a need for a new singing skill in a newer pack (which would make things complicated) or we wouldn’t need to leave singers out from the band pack. With "Get to Work" being one of the first packs to release, I'd wish to see the careers come to Base Game, to the actual gameplay features (actually working in live mode), but only the jobs themselves. So we can have police officers, scientists and people in the medical field in the Base Game (especially because police, nurses and doctors are pretty basic jobs), same would go for veterinarians for example. Please post more of examples like these, whether it’s gameplay/CAS/BB.18Views0likes0CommentsPigs stuff pack ideas
Since we didn't got pigs on Cottage Living or Horses Ranch (and i don't see where else they could come) why not bring it on its own stuff pack? They could work like the mini goats, chickens, etc. being kind of an object. It could also be an oportunity to bring more modern farm clothes (and finally lots of needed male overalls) or even some hippie fashion.112Views7likes7CommentsForever Free Packs for Everyone
The Sims 4 is a 10-year-old game with over 95 DLC packs, and EA will likely keep releasing more for years. Competing life-sim games like Inzoi and Paralives offers much of this content in their base game. For example, Inzoi can provide content equivalent to 30–40 Sims 4 packs in its basegame for the price of just one expansion pack(40$) and we already have 19 of them. To stay competitive and keep players engaged, EA should make some older packs permanently free—such as Seasons, Cats & Dogs and Get to Work. Giving 2–4 free packs from each pack category would greatly benefit new players so they can complete other packs without pirating. For players who already own these packs, EA could offer new Kits free for a month (like they did with Desert Luxe Kit when The Sims 4 became free). I think forever free packs should be; 2 expansion packs -> seasons, cats and dogs (out of 19 eps) 2 game packs -> dine out, get to work (out of 12 gps) 4 stuff packs -> cool kitchen, bowling night, backyard, spooky (out of 20 sps) 4 kits -> throwback fit, industrial loft, blooming rooms, carnaval streetwear (out of 37 kits of excluding 8 creator kits)11KViews24likes43CommentsExisting (!) CAS/BB Items That Need Texture Updates or New Swatches
Cats and Dogs Build Mode has very limited amount of swatchesI’d like to create a master thread for items that need a bit more love from The Sims team. This is NOT a wishlist thread, so please don’t post things you want in the game that don’t currently exist. The focus here is solely on existing CAS/BB items or objects with wasted potential things that feel outdated, need texture updates, or could benefit from additional swatches or functionality. I will start. Plenty of base game objects dramatically need more color options: Few hairstyles require some rework. Especially: Cats and Dogs Build Mode has very limited amount of swatches Get Together hairstyle needs some retexture:25Views4likes0CommentsUsing kits for more than just CAS or build/buy
If we are stuck with them, why not make the most of them? Imagine a Kawaii Cafe kit with 10 super adorable cafe drink/ food recipes and maybe 6-10 cafe items like a table and chairs, some art and coffee machines in pastels. You could collab with Oni or SrslySims. (I can't believe I'm giving this idea away for free.) You could make them very niche and explorative of different cultures. How about a kit that centers around one specific hobby? There's room for a mini golf pack with mini golf putting greens, some golfing outfits for the whole family, and a new Like/Dislike. Anybody up for some tennis or ballet? What about brass instruments? Not everybody wants rock bands. Some of us want jazz. What better way to deliver that than with a trumpet, saxophone, bass guitar, and some funky clothes in a rad kit? That would be so cool. With Bust the Dust, you proved that adding a new animation to a kit is not impossible. I double-dog dare you to do it again.19Views1like0Comments
