What are your opinions about "Journey to Batuu"?
I'm not a super Star Wars fan - the original films I love (but they have Harrison Ford in them and I love him - but I have never been into the newer films. That being said, that and my first pets are the only two packs I don't have. Now my Compulsive nature is telling me to purchase it to complete the collection and have that extra world, but my frugal side is saying not to. I've heard that it wasn't really the best pack out there and it might just be a waste of money. So, for someone who is not a super Star Wars fan, would it be advisable to get this pack. Also, what are your opinions about My First Pet. I've heard mixed reviews about this as well. Thank you in advanced MikkiMouseNative American / Indigenous pack
I would love to see a Native American with all the tribes like Spokane, Cherokee, Sioux from US including Alaska, Canada and even Mexico like the Aztecs and the Mayans. The one thing that I love about the Native American tribes that they don't waste what they hunt. They use everything. What would be in this pack: Teepees, Wigwams, Long Houses (Coastal like Salish, Haida, Tlingit) etc.. Clothing from Deer, Bear etc, hair style braids,, beaded jewelry or regular clothes etc. Animals: horses, dogs as well as bears. wolves and buffalo aka bison etc. Food: Buffalo, Deer meat (venison), Fish, Fry bread (yummy), fruits and veggies etc.. Fun stuff to do or visit: Pow wow, Tribal gathering, Drum circle, Dancing (Jingle,. Fancy Shawls etc.) for the women, Tiny Tots dance for the kids etc... For more info; Pow Wow Dance Style I think this will be a fun learning experience for everyone Non-Indian and alike. Feel free to add to the list.17Views2likes0CommentsFreezing/crashing
Hello, this is my first post here so I apologize if I do anything wrong. My game has been crashing (particularly in build-mode but also outside of it) and/or freezing since I downloaded the nursery kit last year. I use some basic mods (primarily **bleep**), but even turning them off doesn't seem to help at this point. They've been inactive/turned off in game for months. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game entirely, and this also didn't help. I use an NVIDIA driver and always have, and recently installed a different, earlier version in an attempt to fix my issue. It did not. I have searched through the sims 4 discord as well as various forums, EA-run and otherwise, and none of the solutions offered have helped. I have tried everything I've been able to understand. At this point, I can play maybe 5 minutes if I'm lucky. It's been about a year now that this has been happening. I keep up with updates, and repair the game/packs regularly. I'm very frustrated because I've spent a lot of money on this game, and I've had it since it came out. I got the first pets pack on disc I've been playing for so long. I don't know what to do, and I'd really appreciate some help/suggestions on how to fix my game. Thank you.[Idea] Occult Stuff Pack
RoM, V, W , IP, L&D, EbN and GtW all have occults with limited occult specific CAS and Build/Buy. I'd love a stuff pack to flesh out and fill in the blanks for occults. Some of the occult CAS and Build/Buy are merely themed such as Victorian for Vampires and nature inspired for EbN for example. However, the occults themselves could have a larger range of occult specific themes. Add missing occult ability trees for Mermaids and Aliens. PlantSims be a permanent occult with an ability tree. More traits that would help occult synergy (Mystical, Disruptive and Macabre are the closest occult friendly traits, if you want to discount the basic Good/Evil traits) Lot traits that encourage each or every type of occult to visit and a trait disallow all occults! Feathered and bat wings for Fairies or even Vampires (but be great if it could be any occult). Missing single bed, fridge, stove, etc. for EbN nature theme. RoM's The Iron Counter needs a cabinet counterpart (drives me nuts I don't have matching cabinets for my favourite counter). Small appliances for various occults/themes. Non-plant/flower nature themed CAS and Build/Buy. Air, fire and water fairy themed attire and Build/Buy would be nice to have different elements Fairies. But these could also transcend to other occults such as Mermaids and Spellcasters. Something to do with Spellcaster extra talent points! If you are not going to add/update your packs where there is missing/wanted features CAS/Build/Buy. Just put it in a pack to expand the occult themes.25Views1like2CommentsPurple plants
I've been having an issue with my trees and plants that are not sheltered and grown outside turning a dull purple color instead of green. It happens whether the plant is in or out of season. It also happens with decorative plants from build buy mode. Has anyone else had this issue? I play on pc and I use mods.More Updates to past packs?
I've been thinking about stuff i would wish to see in past packs especially for packs that are worth far less than than their price. For example: A world for Seasons A single bed in EBN More infant BB/CAS/Gameplay in past packs aswell as more infant townies Same as above but for toddlers More business and club logos in B&H and GT Daycare career in Growing Together More pet stuff in C&D Update to Lifestyles More gameplay with ROM Familiars More gameplay with skeletons Off the grid options for Bust the Dust Mermaid and Alien Skill trees IL upper cabinets Summer Camp in Seasons These could be released gradually in SDX drops every few months along with base game ones. This would increase the sell rate of packs as they would seem more worth it and people would be happier with packs they already have. Could anyone reply with things they would like to see in past packs that wasn't been mentioned and I would love to see people's thoughts on this idea.95Views6likes3CommentsI'm a be honest
I really would like a season camp EP think summer camp for Sims kids and tweens if/ when we get them however as the title states I'm a be honest I don't want the team that did EBN, HR, FR, HSY, LS and MWS I know they mean well and want to give simmers want they would like but facts are facts they be making buggy and limited packs and paying 40 dollars.... then we didn't get a livestream for gameplay made me nervous. I'm not trying to be mean or hurtful it's just simmers can't play their games.23Views0likes1CommentSouth African Pack Idea
Walk with me, fellow Simmers… what are your thoughts? I've been playing The Sims since the very first game, and one thing that stands out to me is the lack of African representation.
