I was looking at the desk and some of the school-related items and started thinking—why not expand their functionality to include options like homeschooling, tutoring services as a business, or even running a daycare? Right now, desks feel a bit underused unless you’re playing as a teen Sim actively attending school, so adding more interactive and purposeful features could make gameplay feel more realistic and engaging. For example, a homeschooling option could allow parents to take a more active role in their child’s education. They could choose what subjects to focus on, set specific schedules (like mornings vs. afternoons), and decide how long each lesson lasts. There could even be different teaching styles—structured, creative, or skill-based—that influence how children develop traits and abilities. Over time, these choices could impact a child’s academic performance, personality traits, and even give them a slight skill boost when they age up. Similarly, tutoring could be turned into a small business or side hustle. Sims could offer tutoring sessions in specific skills (like logic, writing, or creativity), helping other Sims improve while earning income. This would add depth to career-building and allow for more flexible, home-based work options. A daycare feature would also add a fun and practical layer to gameplay. Sims could care for multiple children at once, manage schedules, and engage them in activities that build early-life skills. This could tie into responsibility traits, patience, and even social skills for both the caregiver and the children. Overall, these additions would make school-related objects feel more meaningful, while also giving players more control over how their Sims learn, grow, and interact in everyday life.8Views0likes0Commentsadd sports to game
if yall want some money add an expansion back with baseball fields and basketball courts and etc . give the kids an option to play sports between softball, cheer, basketball, baseball , etc . it would be really cool and even a cool job idea as the sims can add their own version of the NBA / NFL and have professional sports players55Views2likes2Comments💡 Ideas > ♻️ Content from The Sims franchise

Yesterday I bought the new Royalties and Legacy pack, downloaded it, and started my game but the it said it wasn't downloaded? But all my mods and other packs were somehow working despite everyone else's being broken. Then today I start the game again and now all my packs are gone even though steam says they are installed. Hey, at least the mods still work am I right? My game is completely unplayable.
Hello Everyone, I tried repeatedly to report this in the Bug Forum, but apparently that is broken also. LOL, What irony eh? I also tried to see if anyone else is having this experience, but all I am seeing is reports of actual missing DLC, which is NOT my case. I was wondering if anyone else is having this same issue ad how I can correct this or if this is something else EA needs to fix.... I had just started to create a whole new game, after discovering that using MOO has majorly played a role in some of the bugs in our games. So, I've been creating new lots with no MOO cheats, mods, nor CC. The only cheat I use from time to time is the Debug to get landscaping items that EA won't include in the main build/buy categories. From time to time, I like to include some other player's lot creations for my game and have specifically looked to find lots that are not made with MOO or mods/cc by using the hashtags and selecting not to include mods/cc. When I found lots that offer this, I also made sure they only use the DLC Packs/Kits I have purchased. If I don't have the ones they use, I will move on. The ones I liked, I would put them into my library to possibly use later on after I have collected a few first. This has been working well until these recent fixes and new market place installed in our games. When I put some of the other player's lot creations into my game, I am now getting a message saying some of the content used on those lots I don't own and ask if I would like to continue to install the lot in my game. Yet, the DLC that is showing up as being used, I have. So, to be safe, I've been declining to use those lots that mention this and deleted them from my library. Thankfully, this was not the case with every lot I downloaded for my game to try out. When I created my own lots in the past, I would test them on another lot in another world to make sure all works well. And all was fine... until today that all changed. What I am now discovering is when I use my own lots created and put them on any lot in any of my worlds it states that some content that was used on this lot is a pack I do not own and ask if I wish to continue. How can this be so when I have all the packs. I created those lots myself?! So, I repaired my game and removed all cache files and tried again. I still receive the same messages for all of my lots and the other lots I am using that were working perfectly well days before. I then went through my game to ensure every pack I purchased is showing as installed, which it is. I then click on each DLC pack/Kit in the game individually to see if the items are there and they show up. So I know I am NOT missing any DLC I purchased. I then tried to put one of my lots into the game despite the warning to see what happens. Nothing is missing. Everything is still in place. So, I don't know why the game is insisting my DLC/DLC content is not there. What makes for an interesting twist to make things more complicated is yesterday, I took only one house from another player that I got from the Gallery that mentioned it supposedly had some content used that I didn't have, which showed contrary to the case, as it showed every pack I had, and put it onto a lot for me to redecorate as I saw fit for my personal game. I then saved it and then tested it on a different lot. That message no longer showed anything was missing. But now today.... it is saying once more that there is DLC missing and do I wish to continue to use this lot. My concern now is that my game is completely broken. If the game reads stuff is missing from that lot it could cause other bug issues by using such lots in my game. So now, I can't build or continue creating my worlds, I can't play on my lots created, as I don't want to start a game only to have it become buggy like my last game was, forcing me to start from scratch. At this rate my game is unplayable. HELP!66Views4likes3CommentsDLC won't show up in game.
Hi! I recently came back to Sims 4 and updated the game after a few months so it might be an old issue, but I can't find an answer to it. I downloaded all of my DLCs, they show as downloaded in the EA app but when I want to play, the game asks me to restart the computer to make them work. I restarted it and nothing happened. I uninstalled and installed the DLCs again but the issue is still there. Does anyone know how to fix this? I attached the photos of how the issue looks. (My game is in Polish but it says: "To ensure all DLCs from this save are enabled and trial content is only available for trial saves, please restart your device" and " Needed DLCs") (The second one is my EA App showing that all of the DLCs are installed (The text on the right of DLCs says "Uninstall") (The screenshot doesnt show all of the DLCs I have beacouse they didnt fit in the frame)) Also I dont know if this matters but for some reason my game is in two different folders? I dont know why tho.Solved[Spring Sale] Up to 60%
Planning on getting anything? I am so happy B&H finally 50% off! I have been waiting. Thinking of also getting FR, had talks with other players on this. I do have C&D on backburner Wishlist but I honestly want an update so I can have short legged dogs :P My furbaby is not represented XD Debating Laundry Day and Nifty Knitting, also. And lastly, if I should get (though not on sale) Wonderland Playroom (I do not play kids but I love the theme), before they move it to Marketplace. I just do not know if I will support it since the currency is purposely not to match a Kit price.776Views4likes21Comments
