Custom Playbooks Not Working
When creating a custom playbook, the "Coach Suggestions" section in-game always present the same pool of plays, regardless of your star ratings/selections in the "My Gameplan" section in the custom playbook menu. Obviously, spending lots of time on creating a custom playbook with unique ratings for the coach suggestions, and then for it not to work is quite frustrating. Let me know if I can provide any more details! I've tried raising and lowering the adjustments, even going as far as having several plays at "100" or "5 stars" and the same 15 plays appear for each situation (1st down, 2 & long, etc.).,1.1KViews20likes17CommentsCustom Playbooks Not Working

Seems like others are having this issue too. I’ll continue testing and trying things out, but this definitely seems like a bug/issue.303Views4likes6CommentsHow do I report a bug in College Football 26?
Hey football fans, If you need to report a bug you’re seeing in College Football 26, we’ve got some tips on the best way to let us know. Read on for more info. Before anything else, we want to make sure you’re looking in the right place. Sometimes it can be tricky to tell the difference between a bug and a technical issue. A technical issue is something that you may be able to fix yourself with some troubleshooting. Some common examples: Connectivity (disconnections, lag, unable to access account) Account issues, change email/password/security question etc. Account action/banned Trouble installing the game If you’re seeing an issue like that, I’d recommend checking out the College Football 26 Technical Issues board for some troubleshooting tips. A bug is an issue that you will not be able to fix on your own. Bugs will require us to test and could need a game update in order to fix the issue. Some common examples of bugs: Animation issues Missing assets Game menu issues Repeatable game crashes If you’re ready to report a bug, there are a few things we ask you to keep in mind to help us better keep track of your reports: Use the search function. Before you create a new post, try searching the boards to see if anyone else might have already reported the same issue. If you find a thread that someone else created, feel free to reply and add your info. Keeping the reports in one thread helps us better understand how many people are having the same issue. Be descriptive. Try to share as much info about the issue as you can. A post that only says “this is broken” doesn’t give us much to work with. What about it is broken? What led up to the issue? Sharing more info helps us test the problem on our side and gives us more to work from. Include details. Giving us more details in your post helps us know what to look for when testing bugs. Please include as much of the following info as possible in your post: Which platform are you playing on? What is your PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag? Which game mode were you playing when the issue happened? Did you get any error messages? What happened in the game leading up to the issue? What was supposed to happen before the issue came up? Do you have any screenshots or video clips of the issue? Following the suggestions above will help us better understand and keep track of the bugs you’re reporting. Keep in mind that reporting a bug doesn’t always guarantee that it can be fixed, but we will do our best to make sure the bugs you report are seen. We’ll also do our best to keep you updated on the bugs we are investigating. Platform: PS5 Version: College Football 26 – Early Access (July 2025) Mode: Practice Mode & Gameplay Date/Time: Ongoing --- 1. 🧊 Practice Mode Freeze – Snap Bug In Practice Mode, after several plays, the QB can no longer snap the ball. The game appears to freeze at the line of scrimmage, and you’re forced to pause and either: Move the ball to a new location, or Select a different play This happens consistently after some repetitions and breaks training flow completely. --- 2. 🎯 Zone Coverage Visual Glitch Sometimes after selecting a defensive play, the zone assignments remain stuck on screen, even after the snap. The glowing zone paths don’t disappear, causing a persistent overlay that’s confusing during gameplay. --- 3. 🔁 Defensive Shift Glitch – Misalignment After DL + LB Adjustments When you do the following on defense: Pinch the defensive line Shift linebackers upward ...the players visibly shift to incorrect locations (e.g., left or right of where they should be), while their zone assignments remain the same, causing: Major mismatches Players taking too long to reach their zones Play blown before the snap To fix this, you have to audible or reset the play. I attach 2 Pictures for this Shift Glitch (Zone and Man) For me this is a serious Bug and i can't understand why IT hast Not been Addressed yet its been present in the First Game already Please fix this its Not possible to Play a serious Game with this BugDynasty playing time bug before transfer portal
The grade your players give for playing time the stage before the transfer portal needs to be looked into. Players are leaving because they are seeing a poor grade for playing time, but it's because they are still counting the players who haven't left yet. They need to be able to know what their playing time will look like once others leave. If I look at those players who left in the transfer portal because of playing time, now they show a positive grade for playing time. How do I get help with a technical issue in College Football 26?

Troubleshoot your connection to EA games Seeing an issue on Xbox Series X|S? A good place to start with Xbox troubleshooting is power cycling your console. This can help with many of the most common issues we see. This process doesn't erase any of your games or data. How to power cycle your Xbox console: Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console’s power cable. Important: Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply. Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox. Having an issue on PlayStation 5? Power cycling is usually the best place to start with PlayStation troubleshooting. This can tackle many of the common issues you might run into. How to power cycle your PlayStation console Touch the power button on the front of the PS5 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice). Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Launch the game. Tip: If you're using an external hard drive for your console, whether or not it's for College Football 26, make sure all of the game updates are saved to the same storage drive. If the files are located on different drives it could cause errors or performance issues. If you have the game saved to an external storage drive, reinstalling it on the internal drive might help with crashes or errors. We hope you're having fun with College Football 26, and we thank you for visiting us here on the forums!Auto-Subs and Wear and Tear are Broken
Auto-Subs doesn’t respond to any custom settings or editing the default settings. No matter what, it randomly subs QBs in and out, even when there’s no wear and tear or injury. Which brings me to the next bug, Wear and Tear doesn’t work at all. Not a single player has showed any signs of wear and tear after five hours of gameplay. I’ve played with the frequency, turned it on and off and on. Nothing at all.101Views2likes2CommentsUniversity of Hawaii Proximity to Home Grade
Summary: When playing as the University of Hawaii in dynasty mode, any prospect outside of Hawaii is rated as a "F" proximity to home grade. However, if you play as a California school, like USC, prospects from the state of Hawaii have a B+ proximity to home grade for USC. This should be the same grade going each direction, and when playing as University of Hawaii in dynasty mode, the proximity to home grade should be scaled like every other school based on the proximity of recruiting areas to your school. Current Behavior: When playing as the University of Hawaii in dynasty mode, any prospect outside of Hawaii is rated as a F proximity to home grade. Expected Behavior: When playing as University of Hawaii in dynasty mode, the proximity to home grade should be scaled like every other school based on the proximity of recruiting areas to your school, with a suggested mapping of those grades below. Suggested mapping: Below is a sourced list of other schools and their proximity to home grade for prospects from Hawaii to use as a baseline as to how Hawaii should be rated for proximity to home relative to different recruiting areas. I started a dynasty with each of these other schools and looked for prospects from Hawaii with a proximity to home dealbreaker and logged the grade the prospect had relative to the school. Results below. Recruiting Area = Grade (Source School) Hawaii = A+ (Hawaii) Southern California = B+ (USC) Northern California = A (Stanford) Oregon = B- (Oregon) Washington = C (Washington) Arizona = C+ (Arizona State) Nevada = B (UNLV) Idaho = C+ (Boise State) Utah = C+ (Utah) New Mexico = C- (New Mexico) Colorado = D+ (Colorado) Wyoming = D+ (Wyoming) Southwest Texas = D+ (UTEP) North Texas = F (SMU) East Texas = F (Houston) Don't have a school to test with in these states, but suggested based on states around it Alaska = C Montana = D All other states = F100Views5likes1CommentCoach Suggestions Not Working After Rating Plays on Custom Playbooks
This is occurring on every mode, or every mode I tried including Dynasty, Play Now, & Online Head to Head. My hope is that this is a first patch fix because folks are putting in hours and hours working on rating plays in custom playbooks only for it to have no positive effect during play calling. On '25, I made a custom book and rated every play for every situation(1st down, 2nd and short, 2 minute offense, etc) The result was... When using Coach Suggestions, it worked perfectly giving me an array of plays for each situation. Even if I had a bunch of plays rated for one situation and some higher than others, it did a great job of mixing them up, like it was algorithmic based or something. Whatever it was, EA knocked that feature out of the park, it was fantastic. I did the same thing on '26, and took my custom book into multiple games in multiple modes, and it appears to be just suggesting the same exact plays every time, based on the highest rated plays. Can we get this resolved?
