Hello, I’ve been experiencing unusual connection issues while playing Apex Legends on the Sydney server using my PS5 (wired connection). The issue occurs consistently and follows this pattern: The first game I play runs smoothly with a stable 45–56ms ping and no noticeable problems. However, from the second game onward, I experience severe packet loss (three red squares), teleporting, rubber banding, and prediction errors (two red dotted lines). My ping remains the same, but the game becomes unplayable. Restarting Apex Legends temporarily fixes the issue, allowing me to play one good game before the problem returns. Switching to a different server resolves the issue, with no red squares or prediction errors—just the expected higher ping due to location differences. I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps: Restarted my router and checked my internet connection (other online games work fine). Contacted my ISP, who confirmed there are no issues on their end. Deleted and reinstalled Apex Legends. Tested other servers, which work as expected. Since I prefer to play on the Sydney server, I’d like to know if others are experiencing the same issue and whether there’s a solution available. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.314Views2likes4CommentsCompleted Supersonic Event. Paid in full. Heirloom never unlocked.

Game Apex Legends Anti-Cheat Easy Anti-Cheat (EOS) Platform Windows 10 22H2 (same behavior previously observed on Windows 11) Issue persists even after clean OS installation Problem Description While Apex Legends is running, the kernel driver easyanticheat_eos.sys performs continuous scanning without stopping. This causes persistent high CPU usage through kernel components such as: ntoskrnl.exe Wdf01000.sys occasionally dxgkrnl.sys CPU usage immediately returns to normal as soon as the game is closed. Critical Comparison (Important) On the same system, with the same OS and hardware: Fortnite – had the same issue before, later fixed VRChat – had the same issue before, later fixed Apex Legends – issue still persists This strongly indicates: Not a hardware problem Not an OS or GPU driver issue Apex-specific Easy Anti-Cheat EOS module / policy regression Attempted Fixes (No Effect) Windows 11 → Windows 10 downgrade Multiple NVIDIA GPU driver versions Memory Integrity / VBS / Hyper-V disabled Easy Anti-Cheat reinstall All overlays and third-party tools disabled Possible Cause (Hypothesis) The Apex Legends-specific Easy Anti-Cheat EOS game module may be causing a kernel callback loop, particularly on older CPU architectures.Solved441Views2likes9Comments[CONFIRMED BUG] Severe FPS Drops & CPU Bottleneck Since Season 27
Hello, I am creating this report to detail a severe performance regression introduced with the Season 27 update. My game has gone from running perfectly to being nearly unplayable due to massive FPS drops. I attached a video explain the problem. The Problem: Before Season 27: Stable 144 FPS in all scenarios. After Season 27: Before jump from plane: 30-40 FPS In-Game Fights: 80-90 FPS with stutters Key Finding: Monitoring shows a severe CPU bottleneck. My CPU usage is consistently at 80-100% while my GPU usage is significantly lower (around 30-50%). This imbalance is the direct cause of the FPS drops and did not exist before the update. My System Specifications: Operating System: Windows 10 Pro CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F GPU: [Your Exact GPU Model, e.g., NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti] RAM: 16 GB Storage: SSD GPU Driver Version: 552.44 Exhaustive Troubleshooting Performed: I have performed every conceivable troubleshooting step to rule out my own hardware and software. This includes: Complete Game Reinstalls: Tried on both Steam and the EA App with no difference. Clean GPU Driver Installation: Used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode to perform a clean install of the latest NVIDIA drivers. BIOS Update: Updated my motherboard BIOS to the latest version. In-Game Settings: Tested every possible setting combination from all Low to my original competitive settings. Windows and NVIDIA Optimizations: Adjusted power plans, NVIDIA Control Panel settings, disabled full-screen optimizations, etc. Cache Clearing: Cleared NVIDIA shader cache and the in-game shader cache. Background Processes: Ensured no conflicting background applications were running. Network Diagnostics: (My previously high ping issue resolved itself, confirming server-side problems). Conclusion: The fact that this issue: Started exactly with the Season 27 update. Persists across different game clients (Steam and EA App). Survives a complete driver and OS-level cleansing (DDU). Manifests as a new, severe CPU bottleneck... ...proves conclusively that this is a game-side optimization bug introduced in Season 27. I urge the development team to investigate the increased CPU overhead in the game's engine. This is not an isolated incident but a widespread problem affecting many players with similar hardware. Thank you for your time and attention.Solved4.8KViews10likes66CommentsUnfair Ranked Ban and RP Loss Due to Game Update
The game closed by itself during my ranked match while an update was in progress. Because of the update, I was unable to reopen the game until it was completed. When I logged back into the game, I received a ban and lost my RP points. This situation was not caused by me. I play this game competitively and I kindly request this issue to be reviewed and corrected.23Views0likes0Comments
