I have been a consistent apex customer since season 2, and I still support and believe in the game hence I participate in events / buy skins. Nevertheless I purchased ULTIMATE+ for my account through the Microsoft store and was not credited my rewards for connecting. Please lmk in a bit13Views0likes1CommentCode:Tap
The new split is here, and we were told that the issues were being investigated/fixed, but the exact same problem is still happening. I played ONE Ranked match and immediately got Code:Tap again. This has been happening repeatedly, and I’ve already reported it numerous times. At this point, restarting the game, checking files, changing data centers, etc. clearly isn’t solving the problem. The issue keeps coming back in Ranked. Please acknowledge this as an ongoing issue and provide an actual update on what is being done to fix it. It’s extremely frustrating to lose access to ranked after just one match because of Code:Tap.15Views0likes0CommentsPacket loss on rankeds
I’ve been getting packet loss just in ranked matches for now reason every 4-5 games it comes and sometimes goes for like 3 games in a row and it’s unplayable I check my internet connection and it’s always good, I’ve tried some other games and I never get any internet issues it’s just on rankeds I checked on other forums to see if there’s more people with the same issue and there’s a lot of people with this issue and I can’t find any solutions to this please fix itSevere FPS Drops and Stuttering Similar to Recent Frame Pacing Report
Hello EA/Respawn team, I would like to report a serious FPS and stuttering issue that I have recently been experiencing in Apex Legends on PC. My PC: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5060 NVIDIA Driver: 591.86 RAM: 16GB Resolution: 1920x1080 Operating System: Windows 10 The game used to run normally on this same PC and with the same settings. However, for more than 10 days, I have been experiencing sudden FPS drops and noticeable stuttering, especially in Ranked matches. Normally, my FPS is high and stable, but in certain situations, especially when turning the camera quickly, encountering enemies, entering a fight, or when multiple visual effects appear, the FPS can suddenly drop to around 80 FPS and the game becomes noticeably stuttery. The problem is much less noticeable in the Firing Range. It mainly happens during actual matches, especially during fights. I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, including restarting the PC, closing background applications, checking Windows performance settings, checking disk usage and background processes, closing Visual Studio Background Downloader, changing Windows visual effects, and adjusting Apex graphics settings. At one point, I discovered that Visual Studio Background Downloader was causing very high disk usage. Closing it seemed to improve the problem temporarily. However, after playing again later, the same Apex stuttering and FPS drops returned even when the downloader was completely closed. I also found this recent EA forum report: "PC - Periodic severe frame pacing/stuttering while FPS remains near cap" My symptoms appear to be quite similar, especially the sudden frame-time and stuttering behavior during gameplay. I am also wondering whether this could be related to a recent Apex Legends update or Easy Anti-Cheat update. I cannot confirm that Easy Anti-Cheat is the cause, but the timing and symptoms make me think it may be worth investigating. Could the development team please investigate whether a recent game update, Easy Anti-Cheat update, background scanning, driver interaction, or another newly introduced process could be causing abnormal CPU usage, disk I/O, or frame-time spikes during gameplay? The same PC, hardware, and settings previously ran Apex normally, so this does not appear to be a hardware limitation. Thank you for looking into this issue.77Views1like3CommentsBlack + pink glowing pixel bug
I got this porblem for a while now. In game (and sometimes in lobby as well) there are pink glowing pixels all over my screen or interactable objects (like other players, weapons, granades, wattson fences, caustic traps, etc..) are glowing white with black boxes (pixelboxes) all around. It happens on steam and on EA app, it happened on 3 different pcs now with 4 different GPUs. These games are unplayable and as soon as it appears in 1 game it happens in all following games as well. First it only happened after a new version of NVIDEA drivers came out. Now it happens independently of that fact. First reinstall or repairing the game worked for like 5-10 games and then it appeared again. Now even those solutions don't work anymore. I allready posted the problem in the german thread and I was told to ask here because every possible solution for the problem know does not work. I tried so many thing and nothing seems to work. I tried the following things: Repair game, reinstall game, update or reinstall graphic drivers, change graphic settings, Assign the game to the correct GPU, changing from EA App to steam, update windows, and deactivate overclocking.. nothing of these things worked! If you have any solutions I would be very happy.. in this state the game is unplayable for me. I play in US East servers. Before the update my game worked fine, but now once I load into the lobby the game constantly freezes, I can't leave the play screen, my wallet is stuck loading at -9999 for all currencies, I can't see my battle pass challenges or apex packs, and I can't load into games. I play on PS5 and I've tried everything to resolve such as reinstalling clearing my consoles cache, deleting locally and cloud saved data about apex on my PS5, and changing DNS servers, and changing my resolution. For hardware on my end I started using a new monitor and changed the main WiFi connection I use, in-between the time of me last playing and the update and issues starting.19Views1like0CommentsUnjustified Ban
Hello, On Tuesday, August 4, around 5:00–6:00 p.m., I launched the game for Season 29, and everything was working normally. I didn’t have any issues. Then, after updating to Season 30, when I tried to launch the game, I received a permanent ban for “gameplay enhancement,” even though I’ve never used any software or mods. I really don’t understand this because the game was working normally right before the update and has always worked normally for me. I’ve already made several appeals to try to understand what happened, but I keep getting the exact same response. What disappoints me most is feeling like my appeals aren’t even being properly reviewed. It’s frustrating to feel like I’m the victim of an injustice when I haven’t done anything to deserve a permanent ban. Has anyone else been in the same situation? If so, how did you resolve it?
