Controller aim assist feels much weaker after the update
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a change to controller aim assist since the recent update. No matter which response curve I use (Classic, Linear, or ALC), aiming now feels much "slipperier" than before. The aim assist slowdown around the center of the target seems much weaker, making it harder to stay on target and causing the aim to feel less stable. I'm not trying to complain or argue that one response curve is better than another. I just want to know: Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Has Respawn confirmed any changes to controller aim assist? Or could this be an unintended issue? Thanks!
It’s 2026. Why Does Apex Legends Still Not Have Gyro Aiming on PS5?
Respawn, what is going on? It’s honestly frustrating that after all these years, Apex Legends still doesn’t support gyro aiming on PlayStation 5, despite the DualSense controller having a built-in gyroscope since launch. Games like Call of Duty and Fortnite have shown exactly how good gyro aiming can be. It gives players another legitimate way to aim, improves precision without relying solely on aim assist, and makes controller gameplay feel far more modern. It isn’t some experimental feature anymore—it’s an expected accessibility and input option in 2026. Apex is one of the most competitive shooters on the market, yet it feels like it’s falling behind in this area. Every year the community asks for gyro aiming, and every year there’s silence. Why? What makes this even more disappointing is that many players don’t even want stronger aim assist—we want more control. Gyro rewards skill, practice, and precision. If Fortnite and Call of Duty can implement it successfully, why can’t Apex? This isn’t asking for a new Legend, a new map, or a massive gameplay overhaul. It’s a controller input option that countless players have been requesting for years. Please stop ignoring this feedback. Implement a proper gyro aiming system similar to Call of Duty and Fortnite, with options such as: Gyro always on or only while aiming. Adjustable sensitivity. Flick stick support (optional). Full customization for acceleration, smoothing, and dead zones. The ability to combine gyro with stick aiming. Apex Legends deserves modern controller features, and its players deserve to have the choice. We’ve waited long enough. Please listen to your community and finally bring gyro aiming to Apex Legends on PS5.

MY account got banned year before and then thye unabnned my account for "phisinh reasons" now i cant play online anymore, i cant get any help from EA usless help teams i just get rerouted to all diffrent departments and nothing is happening, and thers no way for me to contact TOS, im just sitting behind a ENDLESS MATCHMAKING LOOP AND I CANT DO ANYTHGING about it , whats the point of EA HELP!!, if THERS NO HELP, is it just me or im missing something here, HELPP ME PLEASE ITS WORSE THAT HELL!!!
Apex Legends crashes every time i get to the lobby or the loadingscreen
I have a really good PC, but ever since an Apex update about a month ago, I haven't been able to play the game. I've tried everything—fresh Windows install, reinstalling the game, verifying files, reinstalling EA AntiCheat, and pretty much every fix I could find online—but nothing works. The game closes every time I try loading in to the lobby or sometimes even while I'm sitting in the lobby. I've seen people say it's only an AMD issue, but that's not true also It triggers a close/crash when i change game modes or try starting a match. I'm honestly so frustrated because Apex is the only game I really play, and I've spent a lot of money on it. It's been over a month, and I still can't play. Has anyone found an actual fix, or can someone from Respawn/EA please look into this? I just want to be able to play again. Also idk if this is normal but R5apex.exe is missing and only the dx12-11 is there or whatever ive did so many this to get it back but nothing worksea support sucks!!!
i made a ticket because my friend is a huge fan of cyberpunk and i wanted to surprise him by gifting him the event so i spent the money on coins and i asked support can i gift the event packs and i was told multiple times by different workers saying yess and wanna guess what happened i go to gift the packs and wowww big suprise i cant gift the event packs never listen to ea support they dont even know their own games. so pro tip never go to ea support find out yourselfGot kicked out of my ranked match
I got kicked from my ranked match after my whole team experienced some lag. I was unable to join back while my team was still playing. I lost 50 rp and have a 8 minute ban. Then there was a notice to restart the game after my team lost due to an update. I know this is something little but seriously this is really annoying.Gun stops firing for no reason
Im not sure if anyone else has this problem but occasionally ill be in a 1v1 and my gun will stop firing. I have bullets left in my clip but my gun will randomly stop shooting mid burst. For example, i was just 1v1 this random in ranked. Broke him and had him half health and then all of a sudden, my r301 with 15 bullets left in my clip stops firing.. this has been happening over a span of 6 months but today just sent me over the edge. Anyone else having this issue or is it just my controller? Also it doesnt help that EA makes it impossible to actually get in touch with them so im at a loss. I have multiple videos of this occurrence happening but i really dont feel like signing onto the app right now to send them in but i will if absolutely necessary. Im tired of losing 1v1s because of this and no, its not a skill issue in the videos/evidence i have. Its clear as day!!😡Black + pink glowing pixel bug
I got this porblem for a while now. In game (and sometimes in lobby as well) there are pink glowing pixels all over my screen or interactable objects (like other players, weapons, granades, wattson fences, caustic traps, etc..) are glowing white with black boxes (pixelboxes) all around. It happens on steam and on EA app, it happened on 3 different pcs now with 4 different GPUs. These games are unplayable and as soon as it appears in 1 game it happens in all following games as well. First it only happened after a new version of NVIDEA drivers came out. Now it happens independently of that fact. First reinstall or repairing the game worked for like 5-10 games and then it appeared again. Now even those solutions don't work anymore. I allready posted the problem in the german thread and I was told to ask here because every possible solution for the problem know does not work. I tried so many thing and nothing seems to work. I tried the following things: Repair game, reinstall game, update or reinstall graphic drivers, change graphic settings, Assign the game to the correct GPU, changing from EA App to steam, update windows, and deactivate overclocking.. nothing of these things worked! If you have any solutions I would be very happy.. in this state the game is unplayable for me. I have been having an awful ranked experience if that's what you want to call it. Its happened on the majority of my ranked matches, its infuriating because i will get good games, if i even get to play that is, and gain a lot of RP, however the following games it will cause my ps5 to completely crash and power off! Then by the time it turns back on and I am finally able to start the game up, it refuses to put me back in the match and then loose ridiculous amounts of RP, due to the fact it refuses to give me loss forgiveness, and then will either give me a 10 minute ban, But then there are times where no abandon penalty is given and then will try to queue into another match, just for it to happen again and it will then take even more points away, I HAVE LOST HUNDREDS IF NOT OVERE A THOUSAND RP THIS SPLIT BECAUSE OF THIS BUG ALONE!!!!!!!!!! it has made me rage and get off the game or get offline all together!! This also would rarely occur the previous split after a few patches at the beginning of the season given Axel's introduction and all the bugs that came with her which was expected. However this doesn't even happen on Wildcard after long hours of grinding kills and for badges and it doesn't have a problem, or with any other game mode for that matter. And I'm not sure the reason for it but a lot of times i have realized it happens a lot more when Worlds Edge is on rotation and I'm not usually one to contact support but apex is all i ever really play i have over 10000 hours played on PS 4 & 5 combined and I would hate for this to be the reason for me to go after investing not only so much time but money as well and i have reached diamond multiple seasons and once i masters and am trying to reach it again, and l have also hit ranked ladder champion multiple times and received the split long dive trail reward, which i believe should be kept and receive a new color every other time the reward is reached and then can chose the color or add a reactive color trail that adds a color to the trail every time it is reached twice in a split. but I would really appreciate an investigation to this and a fix soon! SO i can get back to trying to hit my ranked goal. And if possible an RP reimbursement of sorts, at least for the games where it crashed and took points not sure if it will show or for the times when it did give me a penalty and took double the points on numerous occasions that would be a huge stress reliever after doing your investigation. Sorry for the lengthy rant of an explanation. i do hope you can figure this out soon and get back to me via email register to this account that would be great!!!
