Account was reset out of no where

I booted up the game last night and prompted me to sign back in to my EA account. Upon doing all the necessary steps, I found that EVERYTHING was lost and my account was reset back to level 1. I’ve been playing since Season 3. So needless to say, I’ve lost all my legend skins, gun skins, emotes, heirlooms, EVERYTHING. Is there any one to actually talk to about this to get my account back to what it ACTUALLY SHOULD BE?!

  • Hello. I started playing Apex in 2022. During this period, I was busy with work and didn't have time to play games. Recently, when I opened the game, I found that my account had become level 1. I am looking forward to your help in retrieving the correct account. My account was not logged in from October 2023 to April 2023. thank you very much. Wishing you a good day.

    Anonymous​ At any point, did you unlink any platform account from your EA Account?

    Furthermore, are you signing into the correct EA Account, (and if you are playing on a platform account, is the platform account still linked to your EA Account and hadn't been unlinked before in the past?)

    Hello, thank you for your reply. My EA account is associated with Steam. But I have never unlinked it, and I logged into Apex game using my EA account without any of my previous game props or levels. I can confirm that I am logging into the correct EA account.

    Hey Anonymous​,

    That would definitely be pretty concerning, though it looks like this would be due to which EA account was used.

    Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset. It looks like when you were prompted to log back in, you've just signed into a different EA account - the one you're using now is nearly brand new, so if you've been playing since Season 3 that would have been on another EA account.

    We are not able to make any changes to your account status or progress via the forums, but if something was linked or unlinked incorrectly it would definitely be worth contacting support to see if the original account can be re-linked rather than this new one.

    I have not unlinked my account from anywhere. I think I actually know what happened. I’m pretty sure my account got hacked and my email was changed the other day
