FC 26 Crashing and restarting PC
I bought EA FC 26 in November and was playing the game without any issues until last week aprox. Since then, the game constantly crashes during any online game mode (Rivals, Champions, Rush, etc...). This can happen at any moment of the match, and also in the pause menu, and sometimes in the store (xdn't). I don't know why this happens. I think it's an anticheat issue, but I already tried everything (list below) and the issue persists. Disgusting company. I was playing at 1440p, 90fps, 100MHz, borderless and high settings, WITHOUT ANY ISSUE until last week. Changes I made that didn't work: - Medium settings. - Fullscreen. - 60 FPS, 60 MHZ, no vsync, on vysnc. - Nvidia control panel specific settings. - drx11 - Reinstalling. - Reinstalling EA App. - Verifying files. - Resinstalling Anticheat from the .exe - Disabling any overlay (Steam, Nvidia, Overwolf, etc...) - Killing other processes (Vanguard, easy, etc....) - Moving the game from HDD to SSD. - Adding the files to the exclusion settings, firewall permissions and folder reads. - Executing everything as administrator. - I don't have any temperature issues in the CPU or GPU. Actually, CPU are GPU don't even reach 80% usage. - Other REALLY demanding games in high/ultra specs as Cyberpunk, RDR2, MH Wilds, etc... works fine without issues. - Other competitive games work fine without disabling/killing the external process (Warzone, Valorant. Apex) Additionally, I have the virtualization and safe boot enabled because I need to work with WSL, so, disabling these settings is not an option. However, I'm sure these are not a problem because I was playing and working until last week without any issues. But I preferred to mention it. My specs are: Ryzen 7 5700X RTX 3060 DDR4 32GB RAM 3200mhz That said, could EA provide a solution? Or if anyone in the community was able to fix it (although all the strategies above were taken from Reddit and the EA forums). I attached the logs found in the event viewer. I have two unnamed “Evolution” items stuck in my Store/Unassigned. These items show only the label “Evolution” with no name or description. They: Cannot be opened Cannot be assigned or moved Cannot be discarded Completely block my Store Prevent starting any new Evolutions This matches known cases where Evolution items become stuck in Unassigned and require EA to clear them server-side. It also resembles Evolution table corruption cases where the system falsely tracks a player as active in another evolution, blocking all progress. [forums.ea.com][forums.ea.com] Troubleshooting I Already Completed (Extensive): Full Reset Steps Done: Cleared local saved games Full power cycle Uninstalled both New‑Gen & Old‑Gen versions Reinstalled ONLY PS5 version Let the game generate fresh local data Reconnected online to rebuild cloud save Ultimate Team Refresh Steps: Loaded UT cleanly Attempted to start new Evolutions → immediate error and return to UT dashboard Played/forfeited Squad Battles for UT table refresh Restarted console and game multiple times Web/Companion App Attempts: Items still stuck in Unassigned Any action on these items returns HTTP 406 in dev tools → This confirms the items are invalid/corrupted on the server side. Request: Please remove the two invalid Evolution entries from my Ultimate Team profile on the backend, so that: My Store can function normally I can start new Evolutions My UT profile is no longer blocked Everything client-side has already been reset; only server-side cleanup can resolve this. P.S this issue has been going on for around a month now and I’ve been told plenty of times there will be a fix but i am yet to receive one. This is stopping people like myself from being up to date with new cards that release, also being because I can’t do many sbc’s cause I have barely any fodder to submit because I can’t open packs. Furthermore I can’t get coins fast from selling players because of the same issue which is resulting in me missing out on key evo chains. I play FC26 on my pc, which is strong enough to run FC26 on ultra settings and in the uefa champions league final full match intro it often lags or frame drops in the lineup and before the cup entrance where the players walk to the stadium. In other leagues it doesn't do it, or the frame drops are less. I have everything updated on my pc, this also happens in FC24. So I think it's a game issue. It doesn't happen in FC25 though. Can you fix it? I have a video of the match with the lineup frame drops and hair bugs. Every setting I play from low to ultra (same thing), my monitor is 180hz gsync compatible and my gameplay is 100fps smooth with ultra. Also hypermotion v cutscenes frame drop (after the 2 recent updates). The ucl intro problem is one month. The quality of the video is not the best but the frame drops can be seen (smooth then drops, hair bugs then smooth). I like fc but the game was so smooth in January (everything from cutscenes to gameplay) and then after updates it became laggy, buggy or frame dropping. The full intro cutscenes of the game is unoptimised in every UCL match. There is an issue in EA FC 26 that prevents users from adjusting sock length for Youth Academy players and players created through Create-a-Club mode. The sock length option appears to be locked or missing when editing these player types, while the setting works normally for standard players already in the game. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a Career Mode. 2. Either: Promote a youth player from the Youth Academy, or Create a squad using Create-a-Club mode. 3. Go to Squad Hub → select the player → Edit Player 4. Navigate to Accessories. 5. Attempt to change Sock Length. Expected Result: The Sock Length option should be adjustable like it is for all other players. Actual Result: The Sock Length option is unavailable or locked for youth players and Create-a-Club generated players. This affects visual customization and consistency across the team. The issue occurs regardless of platform settings or gameplay mode progress. You'll also find shin pads are missing from youth players. I am experiencing a major Evolutions bug in EA Sports FC 26 that is completely blocking progression. I have a persistent notification indicating that I have an evolution to claim, but when I enter the Evolutions section, there are no players or evolutions available and all tabs are empty. Because of this, my Luis Suarez card, which I have already progressed through multiple evolution chains, is now locked. I am unable to place him into the Birthday Bonito evolution, even though he clearly meets all requirements and appears under eligible players. I do not have any duplicate versions of this player. I have not submitted any evolved version into an SBC. This is the only Suarez evolution card in my club. I have already tried restarting the game, checking SBCs, clearing unassigned items, and using the Companion App, but the issue still persists. This appears to be a backend issue where an invisible or stuck evolution is assigned to my account, preventing further use of Evolutions. Issue started 2 months ago, it would show my frames drop and had a bad delay of 5 seconds, which made it unplayable. I’ve tried literally everything and still can’t find a fix for it. I know it’s this game and not my pc because my pc runs fine on every other game but this one. I was bidding on Samuel Eto'o (90 rated thunderstruck version) on the market and winning the bid with 500 000 coins. Just when the auction was expiring the system maintenance started. Now I don't have the Eto'o card and 500 000 coins are missing. Has this happened to anyone else?
