military rank and medal ribbon system
I don't really know how to begin, but I’ve been a longtime fan of the Battlefield series especially Battlefield 2. I spent most of my time playing it when I was 20 years old, trying to earn stars and rise through the military ranks. The ranking and medal system made it incredibly fun and engaging. I truly hope to see something like that return in this new installment especially the system from Battlefield 2 & 4 . Now I’m 39, and watching Battlefield 6 brought back a deep sense of nostalgia for those beautiful days. [Edit: Text size reduced - ElliotLH]How is he revivable?
I was viewing some streamer videos and one in particular stood out to me. SquidG is the streamer and he was charging the field and an F16 dropped a JDAM on a player. After the dust cleared the downed player was lying in the middle of the newly formed bomb crater looking dazed on his back. SquidG revived him in the crater. Really? Reviving is great and there should be an incentive reward for reviving and rescuing downed players. I do not believe that all kills should be revivable. Headshots should not be revivable. Being within 1 meter of a grenade explosion should not be revivable. Direct hits from explosions or large caliber projectiles should not be revivable. Please strike a balance with this. I'd like to say occasionally while playing, " He's not getting up." Some kills should place the victim in the spawn menu immediately. I am going to say that Insurgency Sandstorm with all of its shortcomings got that right. There should be more optional gore with this as well. Just my opinion but I believe the battlefield needs some more shock factor.M4A1 Carbine, M16, M416 (HK416) where are these Guns ?
Hello DICE and EA team. I have been following the Battlefield 6 Gameplay test and noticed that the Classic Rifles like: M4, M16, M416 (HK416) are missing from the current weapon list. Are there any plans to bring these Rifles Back ?288Views11likes34CommentsRequest: Full Gyroscope Aiming Support and Auto-Calibration Toggle
Dear Dev team, I’m a PlayStation player and a big fan of first-person shooters. I truly appreciate developers who implement gyroscope aiming — it’s a modern, precise, and comfortable mechanic that significantly enhances controller gameplay, especially for players who are physically disabled. I’d like to share a suggestion regarding future gyroscope support in your game. In Battlefield, for example, gyroscope aiming is technically present in the latest alpha versions (such as BF6), but it’s currently non-functional. I’d love to see a fully developed and customizable implementation of gyroscope aiming — similar to how it works in Fortnite, THE FINALS, or Call of Duty. Most importantly, I’d love to see: An option to disable gyroscope auto-calibration. This system is built into PlayStation controllers and often interferes with small, precise movements — such as when using sniper rifles or trying to control recoil. While it can’t be disabled at the system level, some games successfully disable it within their own engine (e.g., Fortnite). Comprehensive customization options — sensitivity, acceleration, input threshold, inversion, and more — just like in the titles mentioned above. Features like these show care for detail and greatly improve the controller experience for many players. Thank you for your work — I hope this feedback is useful! Sincerely, Artem Rolar Horun P.S. I played the BF alpha and it was awesome.226Views15likes16CommentsM142 Himars, Mortar, Jet with JDAM Rocket
Artillery systems would make the game more impressive. Also the jet with its JDAM bomb. The explosions would make the combat moments epic, which would make it resemble modern wars but the explosions should be big, especially the jet's JDAM bomb which has a really big explosion.Sniper rifles need balancing !
1- "Sniper glint" The glint glow is too noticeable, the glint should remain but the glow strength should be reduced. 2 - "Bullet trail" Sniper scopes already have big glint. It already adds a huge disadvantage. Sniper bullet trail should be removed. Also, it looks very bad visually. Either scope glint or bullet trail should be selected and the other removed from the game. 3- "Sweet Spot Mechanic" "Sweet spot" is a useless mechanic. There's no way to tell if an enemy is within range. That's why you're trying to hit them headshot at every distance. Instead of sweet spot, you need a one-hit kill from the torso at close range, like 0-50m. So, it should be like BF3-BF4. TTK in the game is incredibly fast. All assault, smg, lmg weapons in the game kill in 4 hits from close range, some full auto weapons kill in 3 hits. And assault carry two weapons second shotgun 1 shot kill. Snipers cannot single-shot body kill and in this situation it is impossible to fight them. Sniper weapons should fire single shot kill from the body from a distance of 0-50m. If this is not fixed, recon will remain a dead class like in bf 2042, no one will prefer it. For a fair fight, it should kill with a single hit to the body at close range like BF3-BF4. Additionally, sweet spot mechanic that forces players to camping from a distance. If instead it's a single close-range shot to the torso, no one camps, everyone plays in the combat.Which mechanics do you want and which not?
So we're closing in on the multiplayer reveal. Let's start the discussion on what mechanics from previous titles you would like to see return in Battlefield 6 and which absolutely not? Here's my list. Interested to see what others think. YES Server Browser with persistent servers Rental servers Scoreboard (shouldn´t have to list this but BF2042 taught us otherwise) Limited ammo on vehicles, combined with re-supply stations Jets and helicopters should spawn at base, not mid-air Soldier leaning Squad revive Hardcore mode Basic militaristic cosmetics Class locked weapons 64 players max Modes: Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, TDM, Frontlines, Operations Maps: good variety between AOW and Close Quarters, Naval maps, Night maps 1st person takedown animation Destruction Dynamic weather Realistic movement DLC with 4 new maps, new modes and vehicles every quarter Premium pass NO Specialists Goofy cosmetics Cringe voicelines Excessive spotting In-game wallhack abilities/gadgets Crossplay on by default XL chaos modes 3rd person animations, it should be a proper FPS No excessive sliding, bunny hopping, dolphin diving or sprinting with a heavy LMG That's it for now, but I might add to this list by means of editing the OP.443Views19likes29Comments
