G923 FFB locks up when G535 USB dongle is connected (PS5 F1 24)
description of the problem I’m experiencing a reproducible haptic feedback issue in EA SPORTS F1 24 on the PS5 Slim when using a Logitech G923 steering wheel. When the Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED USB dongle is plugged in, the steering wheel’s haptic feedback becomes extremely stiff, as if ‘stuck’, and loses its usual vibrations. The steering wheel still works physically, but the haptic feedback is unusable (a single constant and extremely intense force). My setup Console: PS5 Slim Game: EA SPORTS F1 24 Wheel: Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE (PS4/PC version used on PS5 via backward compatibility) Headset: Logitech G535 LIGHTSPEED Wireless (USB dongle) Connection: both devices connected via rear USB ports on PS5 Steps to reproduce 1. Unplug all USB devices from the PS5 2. Connect only the Logitech G923 3. Launch F1 24 → haptic feedback works normally 4. Connect the Logitech G535 USB dongle Once the headset is detected, the haptic feedback becomes extremely stiff / ‘stuck’. It’s really annoying... Expected behavior Force feedback should remain stable and consistent regardless of USB audio device connection. Actual behavior Steering wheel becomes extremely heavy Loss of vibration FFB feels “stuck” or overridden Only fixed strong force remains Issue disappears when G535 dongle is removed and wheel is reinitialized Further information The issue does NOT occur with PS4 games (tested with WRC and F1 2019) The issue occurs consistently on the PS5 Slim Restarting the USB devices temporarily restores normal operation Conclusion This appears to be a USB device interaction issue between Logitech LIGHTSPEED audio devices and force feedback initialization in F1 24 on PS5. Hope I will help people if they had this issue too. :) Matias21Views0likes0CommentsSim Wheel Issues
I have a Turtle Beach KD3 wheel and base but when I try to use it, I turn left. When I look at the button test menu it shows that it is 100% turned left when it is centered, and I have to turn it ~110° to the right to get the test to show 0. The software app for the wheel says that it is centered, and it works for other games, so I assume that means it’s an issue with the game and not the wheel. Looking for any suggestions on how to fix it.228Views0likes2CommentsF1 has become unplayable
I keep getting Report Code: GDTJ-EPAM-VKPK-TGDD. Everytime i try and play f1 24. I have a moza r 12 and my ffb no longer works l. The game turns my base off almost every other turn no matter what I do. I even went as far as clearing all my drives and reinstalling everything yet still nothing I can not use my wheel base at all to play this game. It is absolutely ridiculous how **bleep**ed your game is on pc and I am fed up with this I just want to be able to play my game man and I can't. I even went and bought f125 thinking that would make a difference but nope still cant play it67Views0likes0CommentsWheel not working
I bought a Thrustmaster T128 recently and it seems to work in other games, but not in F1 24. When i log into the game, i can only navigate from the first menu option to the last. While in a race the wheel doesnt seem to work at all. I have the newest drivers, my pedals are connected to my wheel and i dont have any background applications that can impact the use of the wheel.70Views0likes0CommentsPs G923 f1 24
Hi everyone. I have a ps5, a ps G923 wheel and obviously f1 24. I have had a throttle problem, the car stops accelerating at random times. As experience the problem, the green throttle indicator in the game shows that it is following my input correctly, even if I increase the throttle or lower the input the game follows me perfectly. The car however does not, if i release the throttle completely and go back to full throttle it seems to correct its self. I have cleaned the pedals out using contact cleaner. After checking the cables I found the usb cable to the Ps5 had been crushed. I have repaired the cable, as I thought that might be the problem. But unfortunately I am at a loss. I have used the wheel for about 4 months with no problems, only in the last 2-3 weeks has the problem occurred. I am getting annoyed as I prefer the ps g923 over my xbox g920. Please help!! 😢67Views0likes0CommentsForce Feedback not working in Two-Player Career (PC)
Platform: PC (Steam) Wheel: Logitech G923 Friend's controller: Xbox controller (wired/wireless) Issue: When playing Two-Player Career, the force feedback and vibration completely stop working. This happens for both players — I use a racing wheel and my friend uses an Xbox controller. Neither of us gets any force feedback or vibration in this specific mode. Force feedback works perfectly in other modes (Time Trial, Grand Prix, etc.), so the issue seems isolated to Two-Player Career. What we tried: - Restarting the game - Disconnecting and reconnecting the wheel/controller - Changing the force feedback settings in-game - Creating new control profiles - Verifying game files via Steam - Reinstalling wheel drivers - Launching the game as administrator Nothing helped. This looks like a bug specific to Two-Player Career. Please investigate and fix this issue in a future patch. Thank you!77Views0likes0Comments
