Staying logged in
I'm on PC, using Chrome, every time I come to the forums I have to sign in, as soon as I close the tab I am logged out, I may come back times a day or night, why can I not simply stay logged in ? The only way for me to actually stay logged in so i don't have to keep signing in is the leave a tab open all day & night.
System needs an Update
So, you can’t actually tell if you’ve been banned or just temporarily suspended from the forum. They send the email to your inbox - which you can’t see because you’re banned. I beg, let there be a way to monitor your status or inbox. It’s no use seeing it after the fact. I’m worried even this much might have it happen again.

There is no way to send message to anyone. there is no options to comment the original post with “how to send files” and I can’t tell in any other way than in comments to other posts. And this one is the closest to original topic. we can delete this discussion from this comment but please please somehow let’s mention how to send messages. There is no explanation anywhere how just to send it. I tried so many times.
Why did they get rid of the old EA Forum? This one is terrible
Honestly, haven't visited EA games forum since 1-2 years. And i remember there was an other Forum platform we used a few years ago. Why did EA switched to this one? This platform is simply utter trash and terrible to use. Slow as hell, always takes seconds to open up a thread or go back a step. Notifications: It often shows the red dot next to the bell that there is a new notification, but there is nothing new, it just shows an older notification again as new. And if i open up the notifications and see, there are several different ones which are unread, and click one one of them, it marks every other as read too. Besides these technical issues i would love to know how populated this forum is, because it feels abandoned as hell. If I look at any game's general discussion board, i see new topics pop up all the time, but barely any of them gets a like or a reply. This place feels abandoned. What the hell?! Who decided this was a good fit to operate a community forum? Just go back to the previous one guys.
Forum post limit is small and stopping me giving bug reports
As per title. I've only given about 5 posts this morning. All clearly different and not spam. Yet I am now blocked seemingly for hours and I have bug reports to give after the recent BF5 challenge changes. The forum gives you awards for post count and then cuts you off... pretty silly. EDIT: I'm now trying to post _this_ in a separate forum and still getting refused... stupid.
Suggestions regarding EA staff answering posts
Hi! Could you please reconsider adding the EA badge that is given when an EA CM/Dev responds to a post? It is useful for posts that have many comments and the one that really matters is the response from said person. Could you add an option or make so when said EA CM/Dev responds to a post, it notifies the user by email as well? To better track which posts they responded to.
[The Sims 4] Crinrict and EA Forums need more help (suggestions)
Original Post, copy/pasted here based on Crinrict's suggestion. I would like to suggest adding The Sims 4 DLC/Event tag buttons to the bottom of all reports & forms. There are already existing tag buttons for PC/Xbox/PS, UI, Gameplay, Error Code, etc... so adding a separate section for The Sims 4 DLC/Event tags would remove a lot of the daily hassle for everyone. Saves fans from having to learn the new pack tags, saves Crinrict's fingers/brain from turning to mush 💚 Also, maybe consider developing a Python program to help with the workload on the Sims 4 Bug and Feedback Forums. There's an astronomical amount of work here for Crinrict to have to manually do voluntarily (without pay). Plus, "...statuses here aren't always up-to-date...", so they don't provide an accurate representation of the team's efforts to The Sims 4 community and fans. This is not good optics 💔 Forums need to be up-to-date and must be an accurate representation of the team's efforts. Maybe a Python program (or AI) could help the forums function more efficiently; help the team get caught up on bugs sooner, waste fewer resources, and volunteers/employees could focus on more important matters. Toggle "like" notifications
I never liked the concept of likes. Especially because I get notifications about it which cant be turned off. I just dont see the point in getting a notification every few minutes about people hitting like on my comments. I just dont care. Its annoying on social media and forums alike. I care about people interacting. You know, giving actual feedback. The forum screaming "LOOK! Someone looked at your comment!" isnt interaction for me. Its annoying. What am I even supposed to do with that?? Also with the way the notification list is designed it bad for our eyes. It takes more time to sort out the notifications where people replied and they are mixed with the like notifications. And to top it off, I unfollowed topics and still get notifications about likes. So please, make it optional for those who want or not want it.
Ukrainian-language branch of the forum
1. I would like to draw the attention of EA representatives to the need to create a Ukrainian-language branch of the forum for players from Ukraine. This will allow players to exchange information in their native language and specifically for their region. 2. I would also like to see the forum interface translated into Ukrainian. It is surprising that such a large company would neglect to create a Ukrainian-language environment for players from Ukraine. Many large gaming companies have added a Ukrainian-language interface to their products. And they were right to do so. This has resulted in a significant influx of players from Ukraine, who are now using their products more, purchasing games there, etc.Improving Time Zone selection
1. Is it possible to expand the selection of time zones, at least according to some standard, or, for example, as in Windows OS? This will allow users to accurately select their time zone. 2. Also, during registration, your system cannot automatically determine the time zone or, at least, when the user selects their country of residence, select the correct time zone. When authorising/registering via a Google account, this information can be taken from the account, but your system does not know how to do this either.this is not a literal sims bug but can we get the fixed ones out of the forums
I just feel like it's really getting confusing and out of hand having a ton of fixed threads still up considering some of them have been up for months and are the most viewed and when you sift through most viewed and most upvoted those are what you're going to see but we're being asked to go through and up vote what we think is most important to be fixed and like there is so much that y'all need to do and there is so much for us to sift through as far as like 'fixed' threads like it's hard for us to find the bugs that we're looking for because there are pages and pages and pages of things that are supposedly fixed which honestly half of them are not and shouldn't even be labeled as such. as a result things are just getting repeated and posted again because no one can find them to solidly upvote the first 3rd or 2nd one posted and now it's just a bunch of bug reports that are not getting that aren't getting up voted. if something is completed then remove it so that we can see what's actually happening currently and if something is marked as fixed but is still getting reported and posted as not fixed change the label of the original post please to reduce hundreds and hundreds of duplicates clogging up the vote system you're trying to have us do.
Is There a Set Amount of Posts?
Hi, I'm just wondering if there is a set number of posts any one person is allowed to make on any given day. I ask, because lately I've run into a popup telling me my post didn't publish because I had exceeded the number of posts in a day. Seriously? Unfortunately, I had only replied to about maybe six posts, and when it came to responding to replies to posts I had written, I found I couldn't respond! People get their feelings hurt when they go out of their way to reply to something you've written, but you don't acknowledge the fact with a reply, So, in order to avoid this uncomfortable situation, I would like to know what the limit is, please.
Feedback ideas (i hope this feedback is allowed?)
I know you can scroll with the topic you're looking for and you have a search bar to look for things you're looking for but it becomes slow over time the more i scroll to a certain game category (it doesn't have to be the category i often use and i bet i can speak the same for the others) So my question is: is there an option so you can click on pages rather than scrolling? I took a screenshot of it but maybe like something like this? Maybe even a random page option so you can click on the number pages? It's not just the topic you're looking for but i also want that option in the comments (same reason as the above one, when scrolling it becomes very slow over time) I hope we have that option and if not: is it okay to add number pages as an option in settings? (I took a screenshot so you'll figured where this comes from) By the way it can still be optional (similar to dates: "hours/days/weeks/months/year ago" and "certain date, month and year" except this time it's the pages and scrolling option) It's just a suggestion of course so i hope the team don't feel attacked by this?
Content Not Published when trying to post in the forum
Today I was going through my notifications and responding to posts as many do, when all of a sudden, this happens...... It is hard enough to keep track of where I am at in my notifications because when I look at them once, they ALL get marked as read. So when going back in it is a real pain to find where I left off. So this happening and saying try again later, when later I will probably have more notifications and then really have to spend some time to figure out where I was, is just terrible. Why would we be penalized for replying to existing posts we participate in? Maybe I could understand if we were limited to how many new posts we could start within a certain time frame but this is just bananas to me. I have posted before about the problem of all notifications being marked as read when you go into them. If that was fixed this wouldn't be such a big deal. Not to mention it would be time savingly awesome.
Small Forum Feedback
1. Date Display Style does not make different when you go to My Setting-->Preferences then you will see Date Display Style. I have try them both Relative and Absolute and did not see the different on my Profile. Can you look into it? 2. like the EA Forum Website but like to see more improvement. like EA forum Profile background change to black or cool BF4 background. Right now it just White background. So maybe add option to change it to different background? 3. Avatar on choose From Gallery🖼️ can you please look into add Star Wars again to the Gallery? Can't Access The Sims 4 Bug Reports Archive
Often I search up The Sims 4 bugs on google and the results link to archived bug reports, however, every time I try to open them recently the EA Forums say I don't have access to that page or it doesn't exist. I've attached a screenshot of the message. Is there a reason the archive is no longer accessible? There are many bugs that weren't fixed yet that are there, and some have workarounds in the comments that are hidden due to that. I first noticed this on August 12th, and haven't been able to open the archive since. I was able to access it just fine on August 2nd, so it's a recent change. Edit: I've tried chrome, firefox and microsoft edge, so not a browser issue.
