F1 22 PC VR jittering, freezing screens and crashing
Anyone having issues with VR stuttering inside of the car when looking left and right. Game is looking fine on the monitor but with the headset on it's unplayable. When having to retire the VR screen fully freezes and continues on the monitor, which forces me to take off my headset or close the game. Also after updating my NVIDIA drivers I started crashing when loading into time trials. This problem has just happened recently, but for some reason, the load times on the xbox one have significantly increased. My G920 has also glitched out on this game, it works great in the menus, but anytime I load up a race or time trial or anything, it then stops working in game, but works fine in the menus. Oddly it seems to take a frame of input and then ignore everything else after the first input. really weird. The game also seems to be perpetually saving as well. Load times where fine when I booted the game up with the controller, so it seems that the wheel is having some sort of effect on the game, if thats even possible. I have tested the buttons, and it appears as though the LB button on the wheel is being pressed all the time, even though the G920 doesn't have an LB? The LSB and RSB have never worked on this wheel so it can't be that. The wheel works fine on every other game with no issues. I've tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling the game and it did nothing to fix the issue. Game is unplayable, is it due to a bug or tech issue between the wheel and the game? it was working fine two days ago. havent seen a thread on this issue so decided to make one. If anyone has any idea what to do, it would be very appreciated. [CM - updating thread title to include other issues that have been happening with wheel controllers for Xbox players. For some reason, F1 22 is not seeing my wheel or pedals in game. I've done the Game Repair and the Origin Help people had me clear the cache, still nothing. I did not see any topics here on wheel problems yet. Product: F1 22 Platform:PlayStation 5 Summarize your bug If I start a race weekend with friends (social game) with long (50%) length e.g. in Austria, I can only choose red tires for qualifying and yellow are mandatory in sprint. I can not freely choose the tires. Same in race, only yellow and white are available, even if I used only one of the reds in qualifying. Tire allocation screen for Austria (probably something similar on other tracks, too) says 4 red for Q1 and Q2 and yellow and white for race, no red. But Pirelli give the team all versions of the tires (Pirelli only chooses which compound C1/C2 and C4/C5) and teams can decide what to do. I am still wondering that white and yellow are mandatory (that’s not the case in real F1). Red/white should be fine too. Maybe not the fastest choice but if I drive without all assists I would like to have free choice too, even if it’s nonsens and I need to make another stop because my strategy was crap. It should be as in reality. And: If you choose two stops red is possible but isn’t mentioned in the tire allocation table. That’s weird. Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try a race, with the settings described above. but it is probably a general bug. but certainly reproducible with the settings above What happens when the bug occurs? Can not choose tires freely. What do you expect to see? Realistic tire choice like in real F1 + PlayStation 4 tooSolved9.4KViews60likes304CommentsController Force Feedback issues
Product: F1 22 Platform: Steam-PC Summarize your bug After speaking to various Controller players across all consoles/platforms we have all said the same thing. The FFB feels like it is glitched or something along with lines as there is pretty much no feeling of the car at all (the turning feels very light, no vibrations). Would appreciate if you guys could look into this, as its making it really hard to drive or feel the car even on maximum FFB settings Which area is the bug/glitch in? TT How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you compare the FFB from this game to the last few games you will be able to see the difference easily. What happens when the bug occurs? It's like there is no feeling or FFB when braking or accelerating. Which makes it really hard to drive. Even when I put it to 150 FFB, it still feels the same and has the same issue What do you expect to see? Force feedback when braking and accelerating, and feeling resistance when turning. Even over the kerbs and stuff it still feels really weak and hardly there at all. It happens EVERYWHERE (career mode, online, quick races).6.8KViews31likes280CommentsF1 Time Trials not loading

In F1 22 the Level of Grip and Traction that cars have seems to be incredibly minuscule compared to f1 cars in sims such as Asseto Corsa, Iracing and even in real life: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypbjxn_sl8o clip for comparison; look at the throttle control; on most corners, the amount of throttle which is applied without spinning is much higher than in f1 22 with sometimes 75%+ of the throttle being added instantly at 1:30 in the video while in the game on the same corner in Jeddah you can't get away with more than 45-55% throttle with no TC) This results in the player being forced to do extreme and unrealistic amounts of throttle control without any traction control which artificially raises the difficulty. To be clear, I am not saying that there should be no spinning or sliding, what I am saying is that currently, you spin way too easily. Compared to sims such as Asseto Corsa you can see that there is a severe lack of grip, with cars in the f1 22 game losing grip incredibly easily, especially in corners such as Bahrain 11 and 12 (the long right-hander) where you abruptly just lose the tyres and crash out. The traction of the car seems to be disrupted too easily, and the car takes quite a bit of time to regain traction compared to sims and in actual f1. In conclusion, I believe that currently, the game has taken a step back by making it even easier to spin out compared to last year (which was already unrealistic in its throttle control) and I think it's quite a shame as the handling feels miles better than last year, I hope that future updates will address this and if not then future instalment in the franchise. tl;dr Grip very little, traction too easily lost and interrupted, unrealistic and very tedious throttle control as a result12KViews19likes237CommentsF1 23 Release Date
So I want to know when we think we will get the game released this year? My thinking and i know its early days but I believe we could get it on 7th July for a standard release with 4th/5th July as early release My reasoning for this is those dates coincide with the British GP which they have used for the last couple of years at least. If that was the case, how would people feel?4.2KViews2likes234CommentsF1 22 Can't Sign In to EA Account
First off, I just want to say that it is utterly disgraceful that you are required to log in to the EA Play account to access any online feature at all. Makes me long for the simple days where your PSN account was sufficient. Secondly, I can't log in to online services. The game helpfully suggested that my login credentials had expired and that I should reset my password. Happily did that. Still can't log in because apparently my login credentials have expired and my password needs resetting. When I looked into my EA account it turns out that my PSN ID is not linked to the email address I was expecting it to so I have no idea what credentials the game is looking for, which is also unhelpful. All I want is the option to input my full login credentials again so I can sort all of this out rather than blindly guess what it is the game is looking for.13KViews8likes220CommentsF1® 22 - Patch 1.05 Discussion Thread
