Heartbroken by TSTO ending. What if ...
What if we changed it to a small monthly fee, say $0.99 a month, to keep it going. There must be at least a couple million people that would be willing to contribute to the cause each month. That's guaranteed income for EA. So many of us have been playing daily for over a decade, there must be some way to preserve our efforts. Please consider an alternative to ending it all. Thanks
Simpson Tapped Out ending
Many people have paid a lot of money to EA to play Simpsons tapped out and to have a situation where those purchases cannot be used after January 2025 is totally unacceptable. If EA have any sort of professional customer service ethics they should develop a way for Simpsons tapped out to be played offline with the caveat that there will be no further game development or updates. A very poor current state of play!!!!

its sad to hear these new that they are shutting down this game. I thought this game was still pretty popular and fun to play. i downloaded this game on a work trip when it was launched 12 years ago on the first day. It kept me occupied. i got many co workers hooked on it.. friends hooked on it. i also did spend some money on it. here and there. its been a fun ride. I guess we got a few months to build out the town to way we want to see it.. and hopefully we can make a video and take photos of our towns. i will really miss the Halloween events and especially the winter events with the snow. flying santa and all that. i hope if this is in regards to a licesne agreement perhaps EA will be able to renew it or maybe whoever takes over the IP license will buy the rights to the game from EA and keep it running.

EA - I have spent tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours over the past decade. I am very proud of my town and I don't want to lose it. I am more than willing to pay upwards of $1,000 in order to keep my access to it. Is there any way to port my town to my own PC so that I can keep it after January 2025? Please! My heart is broke over this. I spent too much time. I'm proud of my town and I don't want to lose it. Name your price and tell me what to do. Please!Don't take my VICE off my De-Vice.
Where do I even start... The community needs to band together now more than ever. Surely you guys cannot just do this man. What about the individuals who really, I know it sounds so stupid, but what about the people who needed the game for that little extra spark? I know we live in an age where technology takes over, and where human interactions have been reduced to that of just taps... But surely the EA can devise a plan that will at least keep the town you have running. Leave the updates, leave the events, but just keep the town running please. I have been playing the game since I was 13, that's 10 years .... a lot of life happens in 10 years, a lot of trauma, heartbreak, loss, joy... People in this digital world have found their vices on there "devices" .... This game has gotten me through hardships, trials and tribulations... How pathetic do I sound, getting my **bleep** in a tangle over a game, but its more than a game. I cannot even begin to explain how just keeping the little town of mine alive, kept me alive. [Pathetic I know] But id never apologize for that, this game had been a light in the disgustingly dark and hideous world... I really think, The Simpsons The Simpsons: Tapped Out , your team NEEDS to devise a plan before January 2025, to perhaps allow the player base to move their towns onto our own personal computers. You cannot just take something away from the community like this.. its ABSURD!!!! RUTHLESS!!! UNFAIR!!! UNCALLED FOR!!! Matt Groening never intended for people to get so attached, dependant and needy on the little yellow characters. But we have. And your upwards of $130 million client base, have remained loyal, in compensation to feelings hurt, economic loss sustained by this decision and the emotional toll it will take on 'certain' individuals of this community, it is only right to at least allow us the opportunity to continue our town, whether it be offline, or allow us TO AT LEAST transfer progress to our computers. Ultimately if EA is going to shut the game down, because there is a loss of players, I think throughout ALL games the company has made more than SUFFICIENT funds to keep the game up, (without any updates/new events), just as a THANK YOU to our Community... Surely for multi-million dollar company that is the ABSOLUTE LEAST THEY CAN DO???? Community lets keep this game up, even if it is without any updates.....
Is there any way to save Tapped Out so I don’t lose everything?
I’m a huge fan of the game and have played it for 10+ years. Is there any way at all to make it offline where I can just have the entire game downloaded on my PC or phone and just convert cash to donuts and donuts to cash for eternity? I just hate to see everything I built be taken away. I’d be willing to pay just to have an entire hard copy of the game on my computer..

Starting a new add me thread as that one with the most likes needs to go. Please Add bilvrun have a maxed out town, still visit often and am looking to get back to 100. The other, old thread needs to be sorted by most recent….but the gap is huge between recent few and 7 years ago….

Please don't take Tapped Out away from us. I have been playing pretty regularly for around 11+ years and have watched the show since it was a short on The Tracy Ullman Show. Although I have not invested a lot into the game I have spent some money occasionally, and I really feel bad for those who have spent a lot on the game, especially recently considering you probably had an idea that this was coming for a while now. I would like to be able to keep playing even if there are not new storylines. I just bought all the new land and was excited to redesign my town and this was like a kick in the junk. Please figure out a way to allow all of us who have stuck with this game for so long the ability to keep our towns and have our little Simpsons fix. Surely there is a way to make that work. We all will anxiously await your response.I cannot believe this game is ending
12 years. I have been this game playing this game since the beginning, through every event. I have also spent money on it occasionally over the years and I have built a town I'm very proud of and loved seeing every day. I was even making plans for big renovations to my town now that I finally have the Golden Goose after having missed out on it all the times it was available before. But you're going to tell me that not only will there be no more updates, you're also going to take my town away from me? You're not going to let me continue to access it for at least a few more years before you destroy it and everybody else's towns? And what was even the point in giving us 960 new land tokens to just end it all a few months later? I am immensely saddened that this game is ending but I am also livid with rage that you would take this game away from us so suddenly and so abruptly. Sure, maybe some would think there's no point in playing a game that no longer receieves any updates, but there are people besides me who were no doubt also working on their towns and enjoyed this aspect of it, and you've just robbed us all of a little joy in our lives and of being able to complete our plans. There are words I can't say about this whole thing, but ultimately, this is a gut punch to all the players, both the long time ones and the ones who have not been playing as long. In fact, it's more than a gut punch, it's soul crushing because that's what a lot of people have put into this game - heart and soul. This was MY town, and you're taking it away without any thought or care to me or any of the other players who will feel this loss so deeply. The least you could have done was keep the servers going for a few years and also bring back everything that's ever been in the game so that people can continue to play and build a town they're proud of and can remember by taking a screenshot of it. The decision to close this game forever in just a few months (no doubt by the bigwigs up top who don't care about us one bit) is a shameful and appalling way to treat the no doubt millions of fans and players around the world. And don't tell me EA doesn't have enough money to keep the servers running, because they absolutely do.What angers me most!
Only last month I was so glad we were given more much needed land to grow our lands. I blew up my land to re make it with the new extra room. It was great. I just don’t understand why they bothered to give a land update a month before telling us it’s over. We can’t even keep our land. I feel totally lost. I even deleted the app I was so angry. What do I play now? I’ve loved tapped out for ten years. It’s sad as I’m in my 40s but I’ve loved this game.
