Hi just want to let you know i feel its not fair to shut down the servers just cuz its not profitable anymore, there's some people like me that spend a lot of money and time with my town, if you're gonna shut down the servers l feel the people that been here since the beginning should get a least some money back. Simpson Tapped Out ending
Many people have paid a lot of money to EA to play Simpsons tapped out and to have a situation where those purchases cannot be used after January 2025 is totally unacceptable. If EA have any sort of professional customer service ethics they should develop a way for Simpsons tapped out to be played offline with the caveat that there will be no further game development or updates. A very poor current state of play!!!!
Waiting time
For those who've been locked out of the game before. Not because of your device but just your Origin account. For no explicable reason.. how long did it take to get back in? Did you get in touch with EA? I've been locked out since the 11th (when Whacking Day was introduced). I've got a ticket with EA. I called a few days after I started it because I hadn't even gotten an acknowledgement email. Turns out I'd never been placed in the queue. Then I got an email on the 15th with the usual generic ways to get in. I emailed back saying I'd tried all that and the trouble was with my origin account. The next day I got an email asking for details about my device. On the 21st I got an email saying the issue had been moved to a 'higher tier'.. whatever that means. Anyone ever gone through this process? How long after the 'higher tier' email did you get back in? I'm just wondering if I'm going to be missing Whacking Day altogether. At this point I'm just going to regret not getting the buildings like Fort Sensible, the Motel and the Stadium.
New Game
Has anyone started to look for another game to replace this one? I always loved the Halloween and Christmas themed events. I also liked the one big one in the summer. I really do think that they went overboard on the events. Does anyone know if there is a similar game that does holiday themed events?Game freezing
My game has been freezing to launch into the game. Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve tried logging in on 3 devices and it freezes on the same screen. The donut on the bottom right usually spins until your Springfield appears. Mine stops spinning and can’t go further than this screen.
