The Sims Medieval remaster for Windows 10 please!
My computer is just dumb and refuses to run anything from that era due to some secure boot nonsense. Please kindly consider remastering the game for Windows 10 and 11. And MOST importantly, keep the amazing soundtrack! Don't touch anything else in game, just make it work on modern computers. Thank you!
Sims Medieval missing from account?
I had The Sims Medieval and Pirates and Nobles DLC on my Origin account, and recently came back to find it's become "EA App" and the game is missing from my library. Trying to re-enter my CD keys in EA App refers me to the Sims 3 store page, but my keys are 20 characters long originally from Steam, not 16 characters for the form on the Sims 3 redemption page. It's ridiculous that I can't directly contact customer support lmao
A Sims Movie? What Would Entice You to Watch?
A Sims Movie is in the works. With the Sims being as open ended as it is, it's hard to guess what the movie would be about. They've confirmed that it's going to be live action, not Sims 4 art style CG, but that still leaves a lot of room for conjecture. I've made a list of possible features. Which of these would spark your interest in the film? Which would turn you off? What features have I missed? A focus on Sims Lore (e.g. the central plot revolving around Bella's disappearance in Sims 2) Some references to Sims lore (e.g. including pre-mades as supporting characters). THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED: Freezer Bunny is coming to the big screen. The central character realizes that their world is an idealized simulation and must learn to navigate the real world (e.g. Barbie) The central character realizes that their world is a bad simulation and escapes to the real world (e.g. Truman Show) The central character realizes that their world is a simulation and uses this knowledge to achieve a goal of some sort (e.g. Free Guy) The central character is a human who is transported into the game (e.g. Tron) The central character goes on a Wizard of Oz style journey through the different worlds in the Sims 4 in search of . . . something. This could be combined with options 4, 5 or 6. Maybe the character is in search of a way out. Maybe the character is in search of a cheat code that will solve some problem that they have. The central character must save their world and their loved ones from imminent destruction by game-breaking bugs (e.g. the Langoliers). A focus on a particular play style (e.g. romance play, family play, level-up skills/career play) A focus on a particular pack. THIS HAS BEEN RULED OUT
How Many Plan on Buying Paralives vs TS5?
Now that Paralives is an actual real thing people won't have to deny it anymore (Steam has a whole page dedicated to it) will you buy it and or continue to wait on TS5's possible MMO? After reading all the job openings for Maxis new AAA game, it's very possible (looking like it's true) that TS5 will probably be multiplayer in some form or fashion..will you jump ship with Maxis?
How long have you been playing The Sims (any version) for?
I've been playing for 15+ years and have played and transitioned to all versions 1,2,3,4. After playing all these years this game holds a special place in my heart 💗. It sounds corny but this game has been there with me through many different (some difficult) stages of my life and has been my creative outlet to get through some of these stages.
the sims medieval is unplayable
so far, with every quest i've encountered, there has been a bug that has made it impossible to progress. made the mistake of decorating my own castle, because that made the messenger post UNUSABLE. got the responsibility to send a guildmaster to the stocks, had them there but the game didn't register it thus FAILING it. tried to marry my build master, but kept getting cold feet because i dared to NOT use the church despite the game telling me it was an option. somehow fixed that just to have my husband UNABLE TO COME TO THE CASTLE to consummate the marriage. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE. the game has been out for over a decade and there's still bugs? are you not embarrassed?!? and to add insult to injury, the amount of time I WASTED trying to fix these problems, i've now played it past the hours allowing me to RETURN THIS ABHORRENT MESS to get my MONEY BACK. shame on you, EA. shame on you.Looking for people to take a Sims 4 UI survey!
