Power / Dodge Bug - (Online Career)
(Online Career specific) - The sway (leaning back, away from your opponent) is completely busted and costs almost no stamina. Around division 15 and higher, every other player just waits to counter, and never pushes the attack. This leads to people only pouring stats into head movement and power. It needs to be nerfed so that other playstyles can shine. I have multiple recordings of me landing 6+ punch combos, unblocked, on someone’s head just for them to lean back, slip one punch, and knock me to the ground. Multiple division 15+ fights with 20+ significant strikes more than my opponents, yet they still win. I’ve messaged multiple of them on the same console as me, and I always have the higher chin, cardio, and punch speed. My stamina management is good, with about 9/10 fights I have more stamina than my opponent. This only leaves 1 stat that could cause it - power. I do think power should be a deciding factor in a fight, but this new game has given it too much of an edge. There isn’t a world where a fighter has 20+ more significant strikes in a single round, yet the opponent is the one with 4 knockdowns and wobbles, while I have 0 wobbles or knockdowns + higher head health. It’s also not a “just get good” situation - not saying I’m the best player in the world, but it’s impossible to counter this playstyle as a volume striker if you both know what you’re doing. It forces the volume striker to ONLY rely on straights when throwing combos, and because of the power difference, the counter-boxer can just trade straights and eventually wear down the volume striker. If the VS tries to counter with heavier strikes like hooks, UCs, or kicks, the boxer can just lean back and counter with massive power. It’s a valid playstyle but should not be so exploitable that it seems like every other online player is using the build. I was hovering around division 15 with my volume build, yet as soon as I put points into power instead of chin and cardio, I went undefeated until reaching division 18. This is only from increasing power from 2.5 to 3.5 stars, and obviously switching to a counter-heavy playstyle. Maybe I’m just better as a counter-puncher, but considering I’ve played as a volume-heavy striker since UFC 3, it’s strange how it’s only been effective for me in this title. Definitely seems like poor balancing instead of me just being insanely versatile. Styles make fights, so I understand that some playstyles will have a blatant advantage over others and it will require adapting - this is just one style/build that I’ve noticed a lot of people online exploiting (and I’ve exploited myself) and I think it’s because the stats need a slight nerf- especially since this wasn’t present in previous UFC titles (Was division 20 in 5 with over 1k hours). Dodging needs to cost more stamina in general, not just because of this mechanic. Please turn this into a competitive fighting/ sports game, not something that requires a YouTube build-maker tutorial just to compete online. While I’m enjoying it, this title’s online has felt a lot more gimmicky than competitive.Fix the game please. Add more to create a character
Bro why is it Everytime I taunt or jump off the cage there like stretch Armstrong and instantly knock me out.. they took away from create a fighter, just all out the same as 5 with less in the game.. tells us we have free characters when u obviously paid for them in the preorder deluxe... Not free.. I can beat people til the doctor should call the fight but instead of them knocked out it's me.. barely any damage taken, idk if e.a. is just messing with me for giving them my hard earned money or what.. feels like the more money I spend and call out there crazy **bleep** can be fixed the more happens to me!! I just don't understand how they had years to fix and make it better.. to make it the exact same with cheesier graphics.. I think so anyways... 🤷International update
Ever since the update my game has been running like crap. It's a whole list of things. Ill enter matches with steady pings ranging from 28-60 and after half the 1st round starts intermittently lagging ( mind you I have the best Internet my co offers). Not always but often my fighters feel slow and sluggish. Unable to block sometimes causing knockouts. Rarely ever able to use in game quick chat, not that it's a big deal. And the grappling is just straight garbage. You literally cannot fake a transition, and there's issues within the submissions. My opponents being fully drained of stam and somehow their transitions are faster. To pay $100 for this to constantly be frustrated with things that aren't in your control is total bs. It's almost like playing undisputed. And that's bad 😞. Please fix this bs EAOnline Career matchmaking in Oceania (Australia/NZ) - “No opponent found”
I’m in Perth, Western Australia, playing on PS5 with cross-play enabled and NAT Type 2. I have four active Online Career fighters (Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight and bantamweight), and all of them experience the same issue. During Australian peak times I’m lucky to find 3–4 matches per hour, but outside peak times I frequently receive “No opponent found.” When I do find matches, it’s usually against the same small group of Australian and New Zealand players. Other online modes work normally, so the issue appears to be isolated to Online Career. I’ve ruled out my home network by testing NAT, cross-play, restarting the game, and extensive network troubleshooting. I’m interested to know whether this is an Oceania player population issue, whether Online Career is region-locked, or whether there are known matchmaking issues affecting this mode. Are any other Australian or New Zealand players experiencing the same thing, and is EA aware of it? If this is primarily a population issue rather than a bug, are there any plans to introduce an expanded-region matchmaking option or progressively widen the search after a period of time so players in smaller regions aren’t limited to such a small pool of opponents? this is particularly frustrating when using paid XP boosts which often run out before they can be used effectively.Not getting skill points even after wasting money on XP boost in online Career
i been playing online career for a couple hours & suddenly stopped getting xp AGAIN. this is the 3rd time. i wasted money on XP boost just to get none. this makes zero sense man. Good Afternoon, I would like to know how to submit an inquiry regarding a reset. I prestige'd 3 times and during my time to reset the fighter's point - accidentally cleared the slot in Online CAF. I have spent hours leveling up this created fighter and would like to know if there is a possibility in assisting with having this undone as it is now reset all the way to beginning after spending all the points.
