Re: HELP PLEASE! [PS4]

Hello @Zruah

Have you tried to power cycle (turn it off and unplug for a few minutes from the power supply, before turning it on again) your console? Can you try to disconnect your PlayStation 4 from the Internet and run the game, to see if there is something wrong with your Internet connection, which prevents the game from starting? In what region you are currently located?

Cheers,

Archi

    Hello @EA_Archi

I've power cycled my console for a few times and it still doesn't work. I've also tried disconnecting the Internet from my PS4 and it's still the same. I'm located in Singapore, SEA.

    Thanks,

    Zruah.

Is your console up to date? Let`s check if there are some corrupted game files on your console.

    1. Press the PS button on your controller to bring up the XMB™ screen.
    2. Go to Settings.
    3. Choose Application Saved Data management.
    4. Select Saved Data in System Storage.
    5. Choose Delete.
    6. Select the game.
    7. Delete all game data and squad or roster files listed.

My Playstation is up to date with it's latest version. I've deleted the Game's files from the System storage and it is still the same. It doesn't seem like anything is working. Any other suggestions?

This is odd. Do you have any other game installed on your PlayStation 4? Are those working fine? Can you free some extra space for the game to install properly. Have you tried to update Star Wars Battlefront manually?

    @EA_Archi

Yeap, i only have one digital game installed on my console and it's Badland. I've played it and it was working normally. Other disc games also worked perfectly with no errors. My console still has 151GB of space left after the installation of Star Wars Battlefront. Also the game is already up to date with it's latest update, Version 1.11 with the Rogue One: Scarif update. I honestly don't know what else is possible to fix this.

Yeap it's linked. Though i don't think it makes any difference as the game has to play with an EA account but in my case the game can't start.

UPDATE: The next day i initialized my PlayStation 4 Console and re-installed the Game, DLC Packs, Season Pass etc. and it started working. I don't see why intializing the PS4 is necessary but it is how it is. I'm happy as long as it's working.

    Cheers,

    Zruah.
