Re: chapter 9 story progression bug

It says to speak with three of the four alliance specialists, though after having done that, those options are now greyed in the mission log.

I've given all four supplies to see if increasing their rank would have any effect. Still no prompt to visit the cantina.

Can you add a screen shot of your mission log?

I have the same problem mission log is gray.I tried relog and restart mission nothing works.

Yeah it's definitely bugged.  Looks like a report was created already here:

Hopefully they'll fix it soon but more then likely not till next patch, whenever that is.  I would add to the bug report if you haven't already and your a sub, if not then i'll link this thread there as well.

i've tried resetting the mission but it doesn't help. this is really frustrating. don't want to have to wait for another patch considering we just had one yesterday ☹️

i figured it was from talking to one of the other people before the hutt, but its not like i can go back now. it shouldnt even give you the option to talk to them yet if its going to bug out the quest.

im pretty sure the only thing this will affect is not being able to recruit new followers. you can still turn in lockboxes to the recuiters and do all the other alliance stuff, you just wont get alerts to recruit new people, which isnt game breaking. hopefully this gets resolved soon, i would like to be able to do those things, but im not going to stop playing because of it. is there something i am not thinking of that this will affect?

It also keeps you from doing the mission in the cantina, which lets you choose your LI for KOTFE, and keeps you from completing chapter 9, pretty big deal if you ask me.

i just meant its not the hugest deal for a week or 2, not forever...obviously its super annoying and i want to get it done, but im just saying atleast i can still be doing other progression things with the alliance while i wait for it to get fixed, thats all. if the new chapters were coming out tomorrow and this was still an issue i would be outraged, but hopefully this gets figured out soon and will have been nothing other than a minor inconvenience. 

Without this quest advancing there is nothing to do.

Resetting it made it worse. Now its saying to talk to the Doctor, but that's blanked out. The other specialists are no longer mentioned.

Has anyone from EA even acknowledged this is an issue yet? The least they can do is tell us they see this problem.

I, too, have run into this on my third character. Tried resetting, to no avail. I really hope this gets addressed soon.

Ohh good, so it is not just me who have this problem. My quest log also looks like that, would print screen it, but the PC wouldn't let me for some reason. Anyway, yeah, I do hope this gets fixed soon, I really, really, really want to get back to recruiting my companions! D:

has anyone heard from bioware on this issue? i put in a ticket earlier this week and have heard nothing. hopefully it gets fixed soon.
